Waited 30 minutes, had to ask for the food (it was cold because they kept it behind the counter until I asked for it). Also had to ask them to make the drink because I was waiting so long. My daughter ordered a coffee drink in the drive thru, based on something she saw on the Dunkin app. When she was given her drink it looked nothing like the app showed. When she questioned it with the employee, she was told it was correct and they didn't do anything to make it right. When my daughter got home I called Dunkin and asked to speak to a manager. When I explained to the manager she said she was the one who took the order. When I tried to get her to understand the problem, she argued with me and kept making excuses. Never did she offer to make the mistake right. Stay away from this place. If the manager is this rude, I can only imagine the rest of the employees. What ever happened to the customer being right? Horrible service. I ordered a chocolate long john then had a code for free coffee monday. I had her scan it and i said this is for the medium coffee and she said is that all for you and she never added it onto the order and i had to buy a whole new thing just because of her mistake?! Doesn't make sense. I give this place this rating because most of the time it is very good and I go here A LOT. However there have been a few times the drinks are terrible! Came by today (4/4 at 3:20), I was looking for a coin and she walked away and took someone else's order instead of waiting the 2 seconds it took me to find a penny. The long awaited arrival of Dunkin' Donuts is over. It finally opened on University Avenue opposite Kohls. I had never been to a Dunkin Donuts so I didn't know exactly what to get. We went thru the drive thru. There is so much on the menu and I felt so rushed to order that I probably didn't get what was right for me. I saw the word "macchiato" and it was familiar to me so I ordered that, two sprinkle donuts and a strawberry banana smoothie. The donuts were good. A standard donut with chocolate frosting and rainbow sprinkles. They were fresh. My son liked his smoothie. My macchiato however... Yikes it was STRONG. Not a caramel macchiato like I'm used to. I had to go ml home and add creamer and sugar to it. If I would have spent more time reading the menu or possibly went in to the store I would have made a better decision for me. Service was blah. The cashier at the window was not mean but zero personality. Smile it won't kill you. For a macchiato, smoothie and two donuts it was $9. I'll update my review next time I go back if it's a better experience. read more

Always been a Dunkin' fan. Have yet to get something other than crusty day-olds from this place. This is after five or six attempts or more. Sandwich was half burning and half cold. So that doesn't work either. Like Caribou, they do not know how to dial in a Turbochef (no the sandwiches are obviously not made there). On a typical day at Dunkin' Donuts their coffee is absolutely divine and their donuts made to the T. However, today my usual order of an iced vanilla latte with a chocolate glazed donut I was a little disappointed to say the least. The latte had an overwhelming of vanilla in it. I enjoy a more of coffee taste but I still consumed my beverage. The latte wasn't the only issue. The donut was extremely dry and crumbled as I ate it. It's specifically a chocolate glazed donut there was scarce amount of glaze. Highly disappointed with my favs. But nonetheless I ate and drank what I paid for and I do plan to come back and order my usual. Mistakes happen, learn from them. read more

More than half of the time you're going to find yourself repeating yourself multiple times at the drive-through window. And most of the time they get your order wrong. I asked for a basic coffee with light amenities and I always over sugar over creamer over ice my coffee. Not to mention that's the drive-through moves extremely slow. This DD is awful. The employees have no personality and are not accomodating at all. When the store first opened they had most of the donuts on the list but not all. Now whenever I go, they NEVER have what we want. I had four kids in the van and we wanted a glazed, strawberry, maple long john and chocolate sprinkles. They didn't have any of what we wanted. Then, the lady just said, "do you want to hear what we DO have?" So I agreed and she listed like five different kinds. Major disappointed and the kids were too. Let me start out by saying I am a HUGE Dunkin Donuts fan. Whenever I go anywhere out of town, one of the first things I do is seek out a Dunkin. When DD announced they were coming to Cedar Falls, I waited in anticipation for months for it to open. After countless drive-bys over a year and a half, this location finally opened. I was thrilled. Unfortunately, this has consistently been the worst Dunkin Donuts I've ever encountered. I have never seen a coffee shop that so consistently screws up even the most basic orders. I would honestly say the place has about a 10% success rate, no exaggeration. I don't know if this is due to management, bad-luck with who they hire, poor hiring decisions, or all of the above. It's truly uncanny how many times I've had my coffee or donut order completely messed up. Something needs to change here and fast. Training, management, and corporate oversight are all needed, bad. A couple examples: - I once ordered 6 donut holes and 1 regular donut. I was given an entirely different flavor of donut hole and donut. I am not kidding. Nothing was correct. How hard is this? - Numerous times I have ordered two coffees, identical in everything (size, flavor, cream and sugar) and they come out tasting nothing alike. How can someone order two of the exact same thing and have them taste completely different? It's like they often times forget either the cream/sugar/or flavoring in one of them. This is an area this store continuously fails at. - A drive-thru attendant served me a coffee while it was windy out. She didn't have the lid completely on, the wind blew the lid off, and the girl continued to hand me the coffee as coffee was blowing in the wind all over the place (rather than pulling it back into the store and putting another lid on), spilling coffee all over my brand new car in the process. I wasn't even offered a gift card or anything for my trouble. I had to go into the store and ask. Please fix this store. I am still a big fan of the company as a whole and would be a regular customer if they could perform these basic functions of running a store. I work close by and would prefer my daily Dunkin. Instead, I have no idea what I'm going to get when I go here. I guess it's Starbucks or Caribou until I hear this place has turned it around. read more

We are big fans of DD. Wherever we travel, we look for a DD location. Our new one in CF is welcome, but they will need to move customers thru the drive thru quicker. We stayed away until 11/18 as the drive thru was jammed to the street. Ordered coffee/breakfast items. Both good...BUT waiting in drive thru line for 5-8 minutes doesn't get it done. We are happy to have a DD in town just for the variety. Service is good, just like the donuts. If you want great donuts go to LaPorte City Bakery. We enjoy taking the kiddos to this DD's but I am a little concerned by the layout of the building. If this place is busy, you must watch out for traffic as you leave this establishment. read more
