I always come here and have had very few issues but today was one of those days I ordered a grilled cheese and a brown sugar shaken espresso, for starters the grilled cheese was cold which is fine they were busy I get it but then the woman working drive through told me I can't get light ice with my drink which keep in mind I'm paying almost 10$ for and I know they can do light ice they have every time. I've worked at multiple locations myself and we can do light ice on any drink if asked. in the tone she spoke as well was very rude and condescending I just did not find it an enjoyable experience when I'm paying almost 20$ for a small sandwich and drink that's mostly ice read more

put a order into the app got there I was in the Drive-Thru line for 20 minutes before I had to leave to go to work literally two cars moved in that 20 minutes it was taking 5 to 10 minutes per order and course their excuse was for short staffed but the lobby was completely empty read more

The last couple times that myself and my husband have gone to pick up our Carmel macchiato ( hot) the flavor has been off drastically. Don't know if they are switching the flavors or companies that they purchased their product from but for whatever reason, I wish they would switch back ..those where our go to faves, but have had three bad experiences of them not tasting the way they used to.. read more

My old complaint used to be that the drive-thru took forever. They seem to have fixed that. Unless I get stuck behind a decent amount of cars, they usually have my drink ready or nearly-ready by the time I reach the drive-thru window to pay. They also seem to do fantastically well at ensuring my coffee tastes the same every time I get coffee here. I can't say the same about the Target location, so props to this location. It's still located right outside Hy-Vee (where there's a Starbucks inside the grocery store), which is a bit odd, but I'm not complaining when there's too many Starbucks. This has become a much better location and somewhere I enjoy stopping into in the morning. (Their parking lot still isn't my favorite, though. I much prefer the drive-thru) read more

every single time I come here I get told they're out of coconut milk after I've waited in line for 15-20 minutes. you're corporate, do better. I recommend just going to the Hyvee Starbucks across the road. read more

bought bagels from them and got to the front and were handed our bagels we noticed cream cheese was not in the bag. Asked for the cream cheese and were told they were out. we said we wouldn't have bought bagels if we knew they were out. the staff person said that cream cheese is a up charge and you have to ask when you order. we have never had to ask in the years we have been going for cream cheese. they made a few snooty comments about us getting lucky than. so either they have just been charging is for cream cheese without telling us or they are full of crap either way it was rude in the way they responded and disrespectful the way they handled the situation with their commentary from not only the staff in the window but the staff in the store. read more

I LOVE there cake pops and there coffee and hot chocolate and they have great service!

I almost didn't stop because the drive they was full. But the gift card in my pocket was burning a hole and a caramel macchiato sounded soooo good. There were 7 cars in front of me when I entered the line. 4 of the cars hadn't even made it to the order sign yet. But to my surprise bing bang boom the cars kept moving. I timed it and it was less than 3 minutes until it was my turn at the window. The employee who took my order was pleasant, articulate and precise. I was in and out of the drive thru in 4 minutes with my perfectly made caramel macchiato. Don't determine if you are going to stop or not because of the line. Their drinks are always consistently good as you might expect from Starbucks. The customer service is lacking and wait time can be unpredictable. If you are in a hurry on a Saturday morning, you may want to skip this place, as I have waited over 20 minutes in the drive-thru on multiple occasions. When I first moved from Los Angeles to the CF I hated this Starbucks it was a big shock to me that they thought 5 cars was busy a moment in their day but I gave it a a lot of chances after all it was the only one in town. Every year the staff changes with the changing of the guard at UNI. So some years the staff is great other years not great at all. This year down right rude & ridiculous. The regulars are super great Patrick, Barb & Mary are all hard working, sweet, kind people so to them thank you guys for keeping me sane these last 6 years I will miss you. read more

This location is never stocked. They rarely have any nondairy products available for people that can not have dairy. I have tried going there at least once a week for the past 2 months and can not get what I usually order because they are never stocked. read more

I don't k know why there are bad reviews of this Starbucks because I found it to be wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful. My cafe mocha was made perfectly and I had a specific way I wanted it made: skim milk, only 1 dash of chocolate and add the whip cream. I've been to other Starbucks and they usually always add more mocha than I request so I'm very pleased with this location. read more

I go to Starbucks a LOT. Obviously, their products are delicious and amazing. The drive-thru line is normally horribly long. Would recommend just running inside to pick up your drink because it normally takes a short amount of time. read more

Espresso is good, the drip coffee, less so. Staff is friendly, what I enjoy is the food, the deli, and the teas they sell.

I only went through the drive through but I went through several times while in town for a few days. The drive thru actually took longer than I'd expect. You know how you sit in the lane, you've placed your order and there's only one car in front of you at the window? You know how when it takes unusually long to move up in the line and you wonder "WTH did that guy in front of me order?"? And you know how you're slightly annoyed to see only one drink be passed from the window to that one car that's been blocking your progress (or escape!)? That was my experience 3 of the 4 times I went through the drive thru. But the window rep was very pleasant (all for the one time when I sat for quite a while waiting for my drink and the window rep decided to divy out tips from the tip jar, seemingly making my wait even longer). At one point I needed directions and the window rep was super friendly. I couldn't give this location 5 stars because of the wait and they lost another star because of the tip-counting incident but if I lived in the area I'd frequent the location just because the reps were so friendly.
