Worst coffee I've ever had. Tasted like gross water with cream. No coffee flavor at all!

The 'Holy Donut' feels like a 'must try' for foodies who live in, or visit, Maine. Famous for their…read morepotato donuts, the quality is absolutely reliable and excellent. They clearly use excellent ingredients, that really help prevent overly saccharine donuts. Their seasonal varieties provide a good number of new flavors to try. That said, their sweet donuts overshadow what I would argue is their best donut: the savory bacon cheddar! Their description of "ooey, gooey, cheesey and delicious" is spot on for this one. I also generally recommend the maple bacon, triple C (caramel, coconut, and chocolate), and trying one of the fruity holy canoli. While all locations are clean, very friendly, and professional, I especially recommend the Scarborough location. The drive-through and reduced foot-traffic (compared to the Portland locations) can make it faster to drive there on a busy day than wait in the Portland lines! Scarborough also has good parking, WiFi, and a comfortable place to sit. I get the feeling that this business treats their employees well and cares about things like local ingredients.

What didn't disappoint was the Apple Cinnamon and Blueberry donuts! Will be back to try other flavors :) The Multi Gender bathroom was unexpected and uncomfortable.

Limerick, was our pick and Dough Boys Donuts was on our list. When we walked in to my surprise a cute shop with the best customer service! I was on a mission for a lemon filled donut! I headed to pick out my donuts and they only had one lemon filled. I asked for that one and then eyed a chocolate coconut donut. I was very happy. As I was pouring my coffee I said I wished you had more lemon donuts. The baker in the back heard me and said I can make more. Really?! How many do you want? I have never had this kind of customer service ever! So while he was making our lemon donuts we sat by the lake and enjoyed our coffee and delicious donuts! As promised we went back in the shop and on the counter were my donuts all boxed and ready to go home. But wait I saw there were more lemon donuts in the case. Ahh....could we start another box? Lol We will definitely be back for more delicious donuts.

They are located off of 11 in limerick, Maine, right beside the boat launch for Sokokis Lake, across from Mill Pizza. It's a small cafe, that serves donuts and coffee. The prices are actually very good. I paid 5.95 for a half dozen homemade donuts. I got 2 maple frosted, an apple crunch, a chocolate crunch, a glazed, a cinnamon powdered sugar. The lady at the counter was very polite, efficient and kind. I'm sure she could tell I had recently been crying, after loosing my 14 year old dog. She was just so kind, and I won't forget it. The selection of donuts were out of this world, and I can wait to get some more ! They had a large selection, of which most were sold out, but she did say if there was any frosted ones I was interested in, she could throw it together real quick. That is very thoughtful and sweet. If you've never been to this place, go check them out, their homemade donuts are to die for !

This morning, my wife and I finally planned to go check out their space for the first time. What more could you truly ask for than a cafe/coffee shop meets bookstore meets beer bar! My wife is more of an avid reader than I am so she enjoyed the book aspect more. They have a large menu of offerings drink wise with everything you'd expect from a coffee shop. I do wish they did a rotating seasonal special drink menu, as places usually have one or more great sounding drinks on those. Both my wife and I settled on an iced blueberry latte. Overall it had hints of blueberry and tasted more like milk than anything. Would not be rushing back for it specifically that's for sure. Food wise they have some in-house baked goods as well as bagels from Rose Foods and corssiants from Little Spruce Baking. My wife got a plain bagel with cream cheese while I grabbed a chocolate croissant. I did mess up by not requesting it be warmed up but it was still delicious! Will be finding more spots that have goodies from Little Spruce. The bagel was also tasty. Book wise my wife enjoyed browsing but did not find any books she needed to grab. She did enjoy reading a couple chapters of her current book while we sat by the large windows (good spot for world watching outside). We enjoyed our visit but have other spots we would be happier to visit again.

It's a nice little shop in a good location and you're always greeted with a smile when walking in. This time I got the bacon and cheese on a bulky roll and then three selections of donuts. The breakfast sandwich was very good. Everything was good perfectly and they put a good amount of bacon on the sandwich. Also asked for hot sauce to be added which I highly recommend. They have a wide variety of donuts always available and they are always so delicious. When you walk in you'll see how hard it is to choose from all their flavors. Their coffee is pretty decent as well. I just love how fast they are here and I've never been disappointed with the food. Highly recommend trying this place out. 09/16/26 Delicious…read moredonuts. We tried three different kinds - blueberry glazed, dark chocolate toasted coconut, and cider holy cannoli. To our surprise, the blueberry glazed was our least favorite. It didn't taste bad, but really didn't pack any blueberry flavor and left us slightly disappointed. The dark chocolate coconut donut was good, but the coconut didn't bring any flavor to the donut and it tasted like just a chocolate cake donut. On to the best part of our visit. Our favorite was the cider holy cannoli. The cannoli cream was piped into the middle of the donut moments before we ordered it. The cream was still cold and the best cannoli cream I've ever had. We did like the donuts, but the other two donuts just didn't make me want to get them again. However, the cider holy cannoli is a donut not to be missed! The staff was friendly and there were a few places inside to sit. We opted to sit at the counter top and enjoy the view out the front window while we enjoyed our donuts. One thing to note, there is no customer restroom at this location.
