Dripping Springs has reached a new LOW I don't know that I've ever been to a D.D. before, so I thought, in view of the constant lineup of "busy" motorists waiting in their SUV's for their daily carbs, I decided to give it a try this morning. I honestly don't know where to start, but let me try. First, there were only about 3 people in line inside (in deference to the blocks-long assemblage for the drive through window), but for some inexplicable reason, the 7 people I counted up front just couldn't seem to get the basic take-order/deliver order procedure down. I watched an elderly woman ahead of me wait for some 15 minutes to place her order, all the while the "help" seemingly wandering around behind the counter for no apparent purpose. Finally, I get to place my order, chosen reluctantly from the 2/3 empty cases as others have mentioned. (How is it that a place specializing in Donuts can have little to no inventory on a Saturday morning??.. wish I had snapped a photo) D.D. advertises heavily about the great coffee they have, but, hey, this is 2019, Starbucks time, where most everyone these days wants an espresso-style drink. But once I saw that the door poster proclaiming "hand-crafted coffee drinks" actually consisted of one of those 7-11-style push-button machines, I decided to pass on a "specialty coffee" My order bagged up, I still had to wait another 5 minutes while the young thing at the register had to get 3 different staffers to come and "log in" to the register..in order to take my money grrr The worst thing, though, was the quality of the donuts. Honestly, I'd rather have a 2-day old offering from HEB than to ever try another one of these stale, limp embarrassments.. and this, from a DONUT-only store. Finally, I'd be remiss if I didn't offer my take on Baskin-Robbins.. there is a reason you rarely ever see a stand-alone Baskin-Robbins anymore. That's because people with any taste at all realize the superiority of Haagen-Daz, Amy's, and a whole host of other, successful, popular local ice creameries! Honestly, one doesn't even have to ask for a taste of ANY of the "31 flavors".. A quick visual will tell you whatever you choose is going to be a glutinous, slimey, sugary disappointment. I suppose that's why a Baskins can only survive as a sad adjunct to yet another sad business. Just sayin The real crime here though, is that, by our patronage, we local Drippin' residents have given over quality and earnest, owner-run local establishments in favor of corporate expediency. For all of you in line at D.D. for your next calorie fix, I would invite you to drive just a couple of miles toward Drippin Donuts (village center, across from the school offices) and treat yourself to genuinely fresh products, at literally half the price of Dunkin. Oh, and for those of you who'd rather wait in your tank for 20 minutes rather than just walking inside and being served immediately, Drippin' has a drive through too! And, they have earned a well-deserved 4.5 average star review on Google (138 reviews), as compared to the embarrassing and not-even-deserved 2 star average for this miserable excuse for a donut house (where in the hell is the manager owner?) Oh, and at Drippin Donuts, you'll be helping a local resident/owner (who is almost always on site during the day) stave off the corporate over-run of our little community. C'mon, do we really want to be the next Cedar Park? I would like to allow some leniency regarding the cluster-f**k confusion behind the counter, and chalk it up to new-business-growing-pains, but, hey, I see we are now at least in the 3rd month of 1-star reviews, and not a single response from management that I can see. My guess is, the corporate fathers crank out one of these plastic-cookie-cutter joints, hire some local kids, then head on back to New Jersey or wherever, only stopping by once a quarter to raid the cash register. I visited Dunkin twice on the same day.. my first, and my LAST! read more

This is my first time in a long time to post a yelp review. about an issue. This is one of the best ones out there. The staff is friendly, the service is great, the food, ice cream and coffee drinks are fresh and made to order. Also, it is one of the most upscale and cleanest stores in the city. Yes, on the weekends, they get busy, and the younger staff sometimes get overwhelmed, but show them grace. They are doing the best they can. read more

I hate to say it but the only reason I'm writing this review is I hope dunkin and this branch will see this and take note and make changes as I LOVE DUNKIN and this is on my way to work. But I can't go back because they are SO SLOW and the coffee is often cold. It legit can take up to 25 minutes in the line to get a coffee this is unacceptable . I will keep a watch out for the reviews and I will try again in a month or so and update this review accordingly if things have improved . I hope so because I love dunkin coffee. read more

Kinda weird for a coffee shop to be closed at 10:30 am, but still allow you to make an online order for walk in just to tell you that it can't be cancelled. Wish there was another coffee option in Belterra, this one is only open when the people working want it to be. read more

Love love. Love that there are donuts nearby. Love that they're fresh. We use the drive thru all the time and the folks working are always courteous, and the one time they gave us the wrong kind of chocolate donut, they gave us three of the right kind to make up for it. No idea what a previous poster is talking about with his complaint about being from Boston and the Dunkin' here not being as good. I'm from Boston too, and the donuts are way fresher here than the ones you get in MA. Not only that, but the store's cleaner too. Love this place! read more

Absolutely horrible service. Had to repeat the order more than two times and all of our drinks were still messed up. Our hot coffee wasn't even mildly warm! The workers here gave us an attitude and were completely disrespectful when they were the ones responsible for messing up our order. Don't waste your time and money here. Never coming back. Being from Boston, I was so excited to see a Dunkin' Donuts open up near where I live in Dripping Springs ... How I've been longing for my Dunkin' "Regular" coffee (Cream and sugar), as it's known for those familiar with the iconic store in the Northeast! Well, what a total disappointment!!! Went there twice. First time, the drive through was SLOOOOWWWW, and the service was horrid! The donuts tasted like day olds! But I figured any establishment has a bad day, so I went back. When I arrived, I saw people going in and out of the store so I jumped out of my car with anticipation hoping today would be a better day. In spite of there being a crowd inside, it must have been a private party because they were apparently not open for business because I even went through the drive through and nobody responded. No signs anywhere indicating they were closed. I saw several people attempt to go in as well as sit at the drive through with no acknowledgment. No courtesy heads up they were closed ... NOTHING! Just ignored everyone attempting to go in or use the drive through. As I drove by the drive through window, I noticed a rack of donuts that I concluded would be the "day olds" they'd likely serve tomorrow. Gross!!! If this is how the owners are going to treat prospective patrons, I doubt this store will be open for very long. AVOID THIS STORE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TERRIBLY DISAPPOINTED! We so need a Dunkin Donuts with good ownership that will live up to the stellar standard that Dunkin' Donuts is known for. This is the worst Baskin Robbins period! so I agree with all the other write ups rude staff. But it's dirty inside the windows are filthy, so if the place is this dirty does anyone think the lazy staff is cleaning what they serve you up in ? They Never have Hot Fudge, pineapple sauce, strawberry sauce, marshmallow sauce. They don't even know how to make a banana split. So if they never have any of the above items and this seems to be all time, that tells me they just don't want to put it out because there is NO adult supervision or a manager on site and the staff doesn't want to make it or clean those containers. I would seriously think about calling the county health board. As I don't think they care about food born illness. Once Amy's Ice Cream comes to Belterra Village I'm hoping they close because the owners and B&R corporate don't care how poor the service is. read more

Oh Dunkin'. I know you are short staffed and oh so tired, I feel you. I really do. So, I was ok standing in line for 20 min, but when I got up to the front and the teen with long wind swept bangs kept sweeping his hair to the side, then touching his face, then grabbing donuts, then touching the the register with the same "oh it's ok it's gloved!" hand, all I could think of was how much he needed a food handlers permit refresher. The donut was fine, about the same quality as H-E-B. I recommend Shipley's for a far superior donut experience. The hit chocolate was just powder and water. I was roundly unimpressed. I won't be going back. The staff was cordial and got my order ready quickly. Overall, meh. read more

Everytime I've come to this location the doors are locked. They close at 7pm but yet they lock up at 6:30...

If you like basic stuff, it's your place because they are always out of stuff. Every. Time. I have given up trying to order ice cream from there. You have to ask what they don't have to figure out what to get. And this hasn't happened once or twice, it's almost every time. Whip cream, hot fudge, popular ice creams, brownies--- that's just to name a few things and that's not including ice creams. You would think the manager would order more of the popular ice creams to have for backup if the same one is consistently out. Drive thru is supposed to be semi- quick. Good luck with that one. You wait longer in drive thru then you would if you parked your car and went in. read more

This place should be a negative star. I'm a transplant from New England where Dunkin' originated and the owner should be ashamed. The service is poor with attitudes of teenagers but in adult bodies. Follow that with timing of service as well.... Back in New England I could see 10-12 cars be serviced in under 2 minutes at the drive thru during rush hour times. It takes the staff here 5 minutes per car. Not only that but we live nearby and have walked to Dunkin' to grab food and we're treated rudely by staff because apparently the "lobby is closed" which is the oddest thing I have never seen in a Dunkin'. This Dunkin' should change owners or have someone manage who has worked at one of them in the past. read more

So disappointed when I saw this place was going into our otherwise fabulous new shopping center. We deserve better than DD. I did try this location once just to reaffirm the fact that they are indeed terrible "donuts" (I use the quotation marks because it is a travesty to call these tasteless, dry, bread wheels donuts). I rarely leave reviews but this place is a nightmare. The door is always locked during business hours because they don't want to service walk in and drive thru customers at the same time (despite the sign saying the door must remain unlocked during business hours). I get it, it's hard work. I've done restaurant work but that's the work you signed up for. I'm not sure if the owners are ever there or if they even care, seems like they're part of the problem. They never have a full selection and often only make the most popular items on "weekends only" which makes no sense from a business perspective. Today there's a huge line in the drive through and no way to quickly pick up Halloween mobile orders that were pre-ordered. The staff refused to open the lobby when people were knocking on the door pointing out the sign making it illegal to have the door locked during business hours. If I didn't have kiddos excited to decorate donuts I would have just left. I've never even had a decent cup of coffee here. How do you mess up coffee?? Restaurants are short staffed everywhere but this place actually always has more people working than almost any other place in the area so it seems like it's just a poorly managed store. I heard several people calling corporate this morning so I can assure you this is not a situation full of Karen's. In fact, I've never complained before because my son likes to come here every so often so I just deal with it but this morning was beyond maddening. For safety purposes, the staff really needs to understand why the door needs to remain unlocked during business hours. If something bad was happening to anyone inside nobody would ever even think to call the cops because they're all used to the door being locked. That's just one of many reasons. I really hope someone who can properly manage this place takes it over soon. read more

I am regular Dunkin' coffee drinker and patron at this location. At my exhausted coffee run this early morning, just as I rolled down the window, I was greeted over the intercom with "Oh no, it's you". I was very taken a back at this rude early morning greeting. I placed my order, drove to the window, got my coffee without a word from the employee at the window acknowledging this mishap or anything. I call the corporate customer care line, and informed them of the incident, and did receive a call from the manager. The manager actually defended this behavior with "this is how we greet our regulars" as a worker apparently recognized my (?) or another persons voice and acknowledged hearing this interaction on headset. I am, however, still very confused with how the manager came about defending this interaction. I had yet to speak a word, so it certainly was not my voice the employee recognized. Might I suggest we be more thoughtful as to what we say on our headsets? The manager continues to argue and defend the behavior. I was offered a free coffee. I do not wan't a free coffee or any comps, I simply do not want to be greeted at 7:30 am with "oh no, it's you" and have an argument about it later that afternoon. I just want to show up and get my coffee without being harassed or made to feel like I shouldn't be there. read more

I don't think that I'm asking much. All I really want is a banana split. However, every single time I come to this particular Baskin-Robbins, there are no bananas. I don't really quite understand what makes it so difficult for the manager to actually order the things that they need to serve on their menu. I'm disappointed. Really, bananas if it were just once I can understand it. Sometimes it happens. However, I've come to grips with the fact that they simply never have bananas. Ever. I'm wondering if they actually know what bananas are that they put in there banana splits. If you want to banana split, I suggest you bring your own bananas. If you own this franchise you either don't care or you have no clue how it's being ran. Either way , it's terrible. Has to be the worst ran place I've ever visited. I've out of desperation and low on time have given this more than a few chances. Save yourself the trouble and just drive elsewhere even if further you will save more time in the long run. This location has continual problems! When it first opened I was so hopeful. But they have issues! It takes forever to get your order. I only order coffee and they are so slow even if you're the only person in line in the drive through (10 - 12 minutes!). The staff is either not friendly or down right rude!
