November 2023: I wish a Dunkin' location was closer to my home because I really enjoyed their coffee. I was at Belterra Village and decided to mobile order a medium coffee and a few donuts. It was pretty quick service where I just ordered in my car, walked inside, and then picked it up. The staff was nice and friendly and the store was very clean. The coffee had great aroma, very smooth and not bitter in taste. The cup was thick and could not feel the heat of the coffee. The three donuts I had were Glazed Donut, Double Chocolate, and Bavarian Kreme. They were all soft with great flavor.

I've never been to a consistently worse Dunkin Donuts before. I keep giving them another chance since there aren't many fast options in the area but every time I think their sandwiches can't get worse, they do. I ordered a sweet pepper bacon croissant sandwich. The cheese was cold and unmelted. The croissant was dry as hell. Not flaky or buttery in any way. The bacon was the worst. Tasted like someone seasoned an ash tray with black pepper. No sweetness detected. Everything else was fine but their sandwiches are extremely sub par. I forced myself through half of my sandwich today out of hunger and necessity but I couldn't stomach the rest. It was revolting.

This is what they gave me. 4.50 drink and it's not even full.

This is by far the worst dunkin. Save your money and time and go to the summer moon down the road or Starbucks. They don't greet people whether drive thru or inside the store. I put in a mobile order, walked inside, stood at the front, and even asked for help in which I told to wait. The staff then proceeded to ask the person behind me what they needed without any consideration for me standing there. Not to mention they can't make coffee and everything is watered down. Below is the ridiculousness they have me today. I won't go back.

A bit late to the Endeavor Belterra Village reveal party. In fact, locals had heard that multiple businesses had backed out due to placement issues. Well, DD finally opened with a Baskin- Robins in tow. Anticipation of real worldly chain spots with in reason had us about 1/4 giddy. Truthfully, I didn't try much on my initial visit. I recalled memories of my dad and I heading towards our favorite fishing hole on the Colorado River. That made the old Ben White location our goto spot. Building is still there; thinks it's a Mexican place now. Ordered some chocolate donut holes that used to fill my 8 year old soul with joy. Today's order didn't seem that flavorful; could be that 30 year habit of Marlboro Reds. Wished they had whole milk as an option as well. I've got a Rooster I'm still growing on my ranch. I'm going back folks; to rediscover my youth complete with some ice cream too! Drippin' Donuts is the fave for those who travel west of Austin; try them if your headed to Fredericksburg or other Hill Country destinations.

Bacon egg and cheese on crescent, burnt to a crisp and the drinks were wrong. This place is getting worse every day

Ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a croissant, and received on a horribly burnt English muffin, and both coffees were wrong this place has the worse service. And I was in line 43 minutes

Supposed to be an iced coffee w a splash of milk, not half milk w extra sugar.

I ordered an ice coffee w a splash of milk. It looks like milk and is so sugary it's making me sick. I asked the girl at the window why it looked like this and she said "I didn't make it I'm not sure. If you asked for it, that's what this is, I'm sorry" . She didn't ask if I wanted something else and didn't ask the person making drinks she turned away and started talking to the person on the headset. Where's the ownership on the product you're putting out? Terrible service.

I don't eat donuts. Except today I do. Decided to treat my daughter to a special pink frosted sugar filled carb load AND a vanilla Coolata (think vanilla bean Frappuccino). I got myself an iced latte with almond milk and no sugar. Oh, and I broke down and got me a donut too. With lots of powdered sugar. It was pretty darn good. The prices were fair compared to all the high end rip off places around town these days. I was served by Joe, who was gracious and patient with my order. I have a strong feeling we will be back....soon!

Not the nicest staff - when the order is wrong they don't want to take care of it. Usually out of donuts too.

I prefer the mini but they're sold out a lot which shows you how spectacular this place is. My go to is the nutty valentine. The donut is always warm, fresh, and crispy. And the toppings of Nutella, cinnamon, and strawberries adds dimension & the perfect story. There is plenty of patio seating and lots of parking outside. There can be a line on the weekends and they tend to sell out so keep that in mind. The staff is friendly and service is quick!

When we went our choices were $9-$10 donut base desserts. I say base because the toppings cover up the donut visually. Despite that, there's no covering that scrumptious taste and texture. Wowaweea. Yes, you feel your cells expand and pants tighten and it is for sure run club pre and post, but quite worth it. These divine donuts have that cakey interior I love so much. We had the Puddin': cream cheese icing, vanilla pudding, fresh bananas with nilla wafers. According to the menu. Ours didn't have any nilla wafers and the presentation was uneven, hence the four stars. I didn't miss the wafers. The icing and pudding were one goopy topping and the bananas slices were half scattered slices and half banana chunk that I had to separate. Side notes: Gourdough sits on a corner with parking spots that are not free. There's a pay via QR code so you'll need a phone or something to scan that. Boo for digital shackles. Next note- I feel like this is a low key meet up spot. Like the way they tried to make the first train cars on the MTA the singles car? There was a series of singles getting doughnuts and they were a little done up for the occasion. Who knows. With the little IG ready love seats and doughnuts made for sharing, you could walk away with extra sugar.

The audacity Story time, Today I went to the original Round Rock location, downtown Round Rock, to buy my son's birthday donuts, It's tradition. Every year on his birthday he gets a dozen half glazed and half chocolate frosted donuts. Then I get a kolache and a dozen donut holes for myself. Well when I pulled up today the line was wrapped around all the way to Mays street. So I just followed the line of cars and got in line. You'd think that a line that long would take a long time but.... Round Rock donuts has this process down to a T. It took less than 10 minutes to get through that line and get my order. And those donuts came out hot and fresh. So did my kolache. Anywho, Don't let the lines scare you away, Just jump in and know they're going to move quickly. Also, If you're planning an office event or any type of event and you want donuts and coffee or kolaches donuts and coffee, Round Rock donuts offers a great menu for large orders and also they have a cake menu for custom cake orders. If you don't want to stay in line in your car you can also park wherever you can find a spot and go to the walk-up ordering window, It's shaded and there's plenty of space to hang out while your order is being made and brought out to you. Today I showed up about 6:20 am and bought 9 dozen glazed. Per habit, I opened a box before driving off, anticipating the melting in your mouth experience I treasure. But the donut I chomped was ... COLD. I checked my other boxes too--every donut cold. Shockingly, a store employee told me it's the bakery's practice to give chilled donuts to customers because that preserves them longer. That's not for me, I replied, and the store swapped out my coldies for delightfully warm replacements. I hope the employee was wrong about this cold donut "practice."

The donuts themselves were a bit of a letdown, though. Ours were a little stale -- now, in fairness, we did roll in later in the afternoon, so that might've played a part. But here's the thing: I'm a HUGE donut person. I can eat a donut basically any time of day, no matter how long it's been sitting out. So for them to fall a little flat, especially at the prices they're charging, I was expecting a bit more. That said, it was a nice place to sit and take a break while we were wandering around downtown. Would I make it a regular stop? Probably not -- but if you're on vacation and want to check it out for the experience, it's worth a peek.

Why am I going to one in Austin? Well, it's because I am a completeist and I try to go to as many Voodoo Doughnut locations as I can. Austin has two locations but Steve was only willing to tolerate going to one location so we went here. The doughnuts are going to be about the same as any other location however I did come across one that I haven't seen before. I am not sure if it was limited edition or what but I liked it. It was kind of take on a Black Forest Cake but it wasn't cherries that were on top of the doughnut and cream. It was more like blueberries. It was good and I am glad I tried it! I was really hoping to see the Ring of Fire Doughnut as it's my favorite but I didn't see it here. I got more of a powdered doughnut too as I do like their more basic doughnuts too. Steve got something that almost was like a Dubai-esque Chocolate Doughnut. It had pistachios on it and was a chocolate cake. That one was good too! Atmosphere is weird and quirky like all of their locations try to be which I can appreciate. So if you are addicted to Voodoo Doughnuts or have been wanting to try them but don't plan any PNW trips then definitely swing by the Texas locations. More and more locations are popping up all of the time!
