First time at this brand new location! Drive through moved along very quickly, even with a line of vehicles. I ordered a large iced caramel macchiato, my son had a cotton candy coconut something or other and we ordered 4 French Cruller. My macchiato could've used more caramel, but now I know to order a couple extra pumps of syrup. DD has the BEST Crullers. That are big, light, airy and not too sweet. If you've never had one, definitely try them from a DD! Placing my order was seamless, no issues paying, the barista gal was very friendly and courteous. So far so good! Very impressed for a new business to be running so smoothly right out of the gate! Keep it up DD! read more

Girl with the pink hair today has a pretty messed up attitude for being in customer service. We're in from out of town, wanted coffee, and we're looking at the menu. She walked up, we weren't ready so she rudely said: "you don't know what you want yet?" Then rolled her eyes and walked off without a word. Never coming back to this location. read more

What is happening....I ordered a medium Charlie & when I got to the window was given a cold brew. Totally fine but when I asked for the inclusion to be added, they looked at me like I had 3 heads. I then showered a picture of what was previously given to me when I asked for a Charlie & was told,"well you didn't ask for all that" to which I said,"I has no idea - I'm sorry as I've only ordered it a few times & that's all I was ever told to say." When ordering if they didn't know what I was asking for I would've happily looked up my previous order.. I also ordered the black pepper bacon sandwhich. I was given a bacon wrap twice & was asked if I meant the bacon one? I didn't know what that meant..they they asked me how it was made & I stared back blankly trying to figure out what was happening..I started to pull up their app to showcase what was on their menu. I truly am just discouraged and honestly confused. My croissant came with cheddar - so not made correctly & the drink was remade correctly. I've attached what I've received previously when ordering the Charlie. This is not what I was given. read more

These are not true Dunkin Donuts, they look different and taste different. This location must have been new ownership. The staff is not very friendly. read more

Just horrible. You will wait for hours here. I think they hire sloths. Waited in the drive through for literally 40 minutes for a single coffee. read more

they literally get my drink order wrong every single time, it's like they don't listen to what you say and make up any order. it's getting really annoying. read more

A 1 star is too nice. My daughter and her friends came to the Altoona Dunkin this morning and everything they ordered was wrong, including making one of the drinks with milk that was ordered with oat milk due to a milk allergy. When it was discovered the drink contained milk, the employee argued with her about it and didn't seem to remotely understand what the issue was. Even with the receipt being shown that all the orders were incorrect the employee argued that she didn't understand what they were talking about and had zero concept of what items were even on the menu. She didn't seem to be able to speak, read or understand anything that was being relayed to her. She finally agreed to remake the 2 wrong drinks and proceeded to change them $16. They said, no thanks, these should be free. She finally relented and gave them to the girls without needing to pay again and alas, the drinks were still WRONG! This Dunkin has gone completely downhill over the past year. We will not return. read more

This is the worst Dunkin' in the Des Moines Area! I'm really too nice, and keep trying them and every time is worse than the last! They either have closed early, get your order wrong or overcharge you or serve food that isn't cooked properly... Yesterday was the final l straw ... first, they don't have what In originally wanted, which I get... Then I decide to get snacking bacon instead and ask that they cook it so it's more to the crisp side and I'm told it's too hard to cook it crispy with the seasoning they use which is total BS... so I order the the avocado toast with bacon bits... Then get it and it's $5 for one slice n and the bacon is raw.& they got my drink order WRONG and made a excuse for that! Sorry but not sorry... You're getting paid to give the customer what they order... total failure ! I'm never going back read more

Waited at the counter for 3 minutes with no help and then a worker says "we aren't taking lobby orders" No sign on the window. Basically told me to leave read more

Bad customer service. Seriously, torn half-frosted, exploding, melted powdered sugar donuts given at the Altoona IA drive-thru today. Sad. No cars in line, not busy 11:00 am. read more

I've had enough. Got up to the speaker and being asked if I would like a to try a new drink in which I respond "no thank you" and then proceed to wait 5 min for someone to come back to take my order. I could barely hear him and he seemed like he loved his job... even if u don't like your job at least act like it. I then pull around to the window where I see them start to make my drink. I start to watch the kid take someone else's order in which took 5 min. Until he starts making there drinks with no pep in his step. Meanwhile my drink and croissant are just sitting there for a solid 8-10 min and I still haven't paid. I continue to be stared and ignored. And it's not like there was one person working. Another person was just sweeping and not helping the other kid at all. That can wait. But no. You have people inside and cars in the drive through waiting to be helped. I then was approached and gave my money and got no conversation. Not even a "oh here's your drink" or "oh here's your food". I am a barista myself and was very disappointed in the lack of communication and kindness I received from these workers. I would like to share about another experience I had a few weeks ago. Me and 3 other friends stopped by and 2 ordered a sourdough breakfast sandwich. When opening up the box my friend noticed hers did not have a top bun and also looked like it had a bite taken out of it. HELLO??? ARE WE REALLY THAT LAZY?? Put a new sandwich in the oven and give them what they paid for. read more

10 minutes prior to closing and the young lady at the register still had a smile on her face. The donuts had been placed on a storing rack but she gladly read the list of what was left, for me. The facility was well kept and the floors in the back were being mopped. A bright and newer looking building was still welcoming at night. That's not always the case when someone walks in close to closing time. read more

Drive thru service terrible ! Disrespectful workers and messing up all different food orders

Stopped in at 8am and left before ordering. One customer in front of me waiting to order and when employee stepped to the register to take order they said nothing. No acknowledgement of the presence of a customer, no greeting, nothing but a look of resentment - a sentiment that all of the employees shared. read more

We went through the drive through and asked for a medium iced caramel latte, we got up to the window the customer service was terrible, and they completely messed up the order. I was handed a medium iced caramel macchiato NOT a latte, and when we tried to explain to them it was wrong the girl told us that a macchiato was the same as a latte and it the only difference was that it wasn't mixed. Very disappointed. read more

As always, terrible customer service at this location. I asked for the receipt for my mobile order & it was pulled out of the trash. I asked for a bag for my 2 1/2 dozen assorted, I was handed the bag. The staff (that was not busy) couldn't even bother to put the boxes in the bag. Not a single good morning or have a nice day. Just a bunch of half asleep employees that didn't want to be there read more

The staff used to be super kind and respectfu. The past few times i've went the staff has had an attitude towards me.

BEST Dunkin' in town! They are always so fast regardless of the number of people there! I wish I lived closer to this location because I would go there every week. read more
