They have all the types of coffee you could possibly imagine, which is great since my fiancé and I have completely different tastes. He ordered a traditional, hot latte. He said it was full flavored, not too hot, and was served at the perfect temperature. I had an iced Moose Tracks (chocolate and peanut butter) latte with oat milk. I was worried the flavors would be really heavy but it was just the right amount of sweetness. The place is also huge. It went way further back than I would have thought and there were plenty of tables. They had a million different types of coffee beans you could buy in all different sizes. Some even looked like 5lb bags. In addition to all of that, they had great merch, some with their logo and others that were dog and cat themed. As a person with a lot of pets, I wanted to buy everything. They also featured other goods and art made by local New Hampshirites.

The sandwiches took about 7 minutes to appear. The cook ( rather rough ) put them on the counter and turned away in one motion. The coffees took another 4 minutes after the sandwiches came out. If the place had been busy I, of course would understand the wait. However, it was not. Once I finally joined my companion to being eating ( I was delivering items to the table as I received them) he was done with his sandwich as I was beginning. The sandwich was a huge disappointment. Yes, the order was made correctly. The bread was toasted as I requested, bone dry but toasted. My dissatisfaction came from the lack of filling in the sandwich. One egg, one small slice of cheese( not covering the entire slice of bread ) and one paper thin slice of deli ham. I do realize that food costs are up, I also realize that will not have return customers if they do not feel like they are getting value for their dollars. The service was slow but mostly kind. The coffees were very good. The sandwiches were a disappointment. Two 12oz specialty coffees, two breakfast sandwiches just under $30.

One was typing (on a typewriter) another working on a laptop and a couple wandered in from the bookstore side. Parking is on street. Pay at the meter and put the paid receipt on the dash of your vehicle where it can easily be seen. Two or three people were giving out parking tickets during our stay. The menu is over the order counter or use one of the copies they have near the register. It's a pretty small menu with espresso and coffee drinks, tea, breakfast sandwiches on an english muffin, pastry and panini or wraps. They also have a drinks cooler. We ordered a wrap and a breakfast sandwich which were brought to us when ready although I suspect we were supposed to wait at the end of the counter and just didn't get that instruction. The egg on my breakfast sandwich was a scrambled egg shaped in a circle the size of the english muffin. It had an odd texture like it's not just egg in there and based on the brown exterior was reheated? Not sure, but both my egg and cheese muffin and my companions wrap left a weird, unpleasant taste. Even after breath mints the taste remained. No idea what that's about but I wouldn't want a repeat. The coffee is served in a paper cup even though we were dining in. Sandwiches were served in butcher paper. So all orders seem to be prepared as to-go orders. A milk and sugar station is by the door where you will also find the trash. I did not look for a restroom. The restaurant is 'bus your own table' and was pretty clean. Two of the tables we tried wobbled terribly. The window wall lets in lots of sunlight.

At the time of our visit, late on a Monday morning, the pastry on offer included two buns (cinnamon?), and several donuts. I understand from the barista they source the donuts from Brother's donuts in Franklin and are the "Best in the State". The barista was very personable and pleasant during our quick chat. She served up the donut I ordered and brought my coffee to my seat when ready. She did ask if I was ordering to stay or to-go. Although my donut was on a glass plate, coffee was served in a paper cup. I do wish it were in a glass or china cup/mug. Cardboard detracts from the espresso drink experience IMHO. Still, the drink was well made. Creamy (I chose whole milk) with an espresso bite. What I thought was a Boston cream donut isn't exactly. This was a cake donut (usually it's a yeast donut) filled with vanilla cream (instead of custard) and had a nice milk chocolate frosting on top. I like cake donuts and this was a very nice one. It was very big. Almost too big to bite into. Background music is a playlist of current, uptempo tracks. Nothing jarring, just a nice steady, positive vibe. The restaurant is clean and tidy. Guests were mostly quiet. I didn't even hear the remote worker on a call. Definitely try this coffee shop. It's the kind of coffee shop I'd love to have in my own neighborhood.

Most places....$1.50-$2 for a plain bagel...with butter. Simple. Go to this place and she tells me...$4 for the damn bagel! Damn near fell over. Never again! I get people are in a rush and whatnot, but come on! Go somewhere else. That bagel wasn't even that good. I had many bagels on our trip and this was hands down the worst....and the staff there...good lord! I basically checked in here because I had to to talk about the cost. Just insanity.
