Wish I could give 0 stars. Staff here are rude and don't know anything about their menu. Sat and argued with me over the mobile app, all over trying to use points. If I could give it a minus-star, I would. First off, prices on drive-thru sign are incorrect. Then, I travel down the road and take the napkin off my ice cream (which was wrapped around it when handed to me out the drive-thru window) and there is GREEN stuff all over the inside of the napkin. I turned around, drove back, took the napkin and ice cream inside as I had lost my appetite. I was offered a replacement, which I immediately declined; no, thank you. Then, to make my inside return visit even more complete, the son of the disgruntled customer standing next to me pointed out that there was a ROACH on the counter! It was about an inch long. I don't understand why they're adding cream and sugar to every single coffee at this one. If someone orders oat milk, or any dairy alternative, there is a chance it's due to an allergy. They need to be more aware of that rather than mixing dairy and dairy alternatives. The employees at this location need more training. Also maybe review some customer service skills with them too. If you make a mistake, it's not the customers fault. If the customer is being rude, I can almost understand, but if YOU did something wrong, own up to it. You don't have to be nice, but you should be kind. And I feel like ALL Dunkin locations need to to know... GRANULATED SUGAR SHOULDNT BE ADDED TO ICE COFFEE. It does not dissolve because of the ice. I'm not sure what's up with this particular location, but it's horrible. I spend a lot of money here because it's one of the only coffee/breakfast places in Albemarle. But I think I'm done coming here. I'll just suck it up and make my coffee at home. The food is ALWAYS cold. The coffee tastes burnt half the time. They never give you the extra add ons that you pay for - shot of espresso, bacon, etc. Not to mention the employees lie about machines not working or not having certain foods. read more

All the employees are under 18 and don't really care about providing good service to customers. I stop by on my way to work in the morning and order a coffee and a sweet, iced tea. Most of the time the tea is so week you could read a newspaper thru it. To avoid controversy, I dump the tea out. Now, for the past week, they've had no tea. And yesterday, the lady said, oh, we didn't make any today. Why? Did you just not won't too? They are very rude, and I tip them every morning. Where do I even start? I have been in contact with corporate several times due to the lack of product at their store, always being dairy free ice cream. I went there once and was able to get a chocolate chunk dairy free ice cream, which I fell in love with. It taste just like real ice cream. I went back a couple of times, and each time was told they do not have that ice cream or any dairy free options for that matter. Dunkin forwarded my complaint to the franchisee, who told me that they indeed do have dairy free options, and in particular the exact flavor of which I asked for at the speaker. I was told next time to stop by and I will get a free cup of ice cream due to this issue. of course, I went back a few days after and yet again was told they did not have this ice cream. today, I stopped by to get an iced coffee, just to be told they were out of iced coffee. I so badly wanted to ask them if they had hot coffee and some ice to throw together to make me a cup of iced coffee.... but sometimes you just have to leave the uneducated as the uneducated. Telling them to pour hot coffee over ice would probably go over their heads. I would really like to know how, during the summer when it is 95°F outside, and 5pm, you run out of "iced coffee". read more

Lady at the drive thru window was friendly and patient as I ordered. Food was subpar. Breakfast sandwich I ordered, the egg was cold throughout. Hash browns tasted like freezer (don't know how that's possible). The chocolate frosted donut was yummy. If you're thinking about visiting Dunkin' in Albemarle, don't. I went through the drive-thru and their frozen machine and oven was down. This is not the first time this has happened. When I went there a few days prior, their frozen machine was still down. On top of this, my order is never correct. I ordered an iced chai tea latte, and there was no chai in the drink- just iced milk. I ordered an iced caramel macchiato, and there was no coffee in the cup- just iced milk and caramel. I am a regular customer but recently, I have stopped coming because they are always out of donuts or coffee flavors. It's really sad how downhill this place went. Very disappointed. I wait for 15 minutes to order through the drive thru when I'm the only one in line, then they tell me they are out of almost every coffee flavor, as well as donuts. I've visited quite a few Dunkins on my road trips, and sometimes they taste like just old coffee with way too much sweetener. I love that Dunkin has a dairy alternative, and I always get the almond milk. I got the iced vanilla latte with almond milk. Unlike other locations, this coffee was perfectly sweetened, and the coffee tasted fresh. The employees were really kind and my coffee was ready in less than a minute! If youre coming through Albemarle and need your coffee fix, don't worry that we don't have Starbucks because Dunkin will fix ya right up. The only thing keeping it from a 5 star is that there was a roach in the bathroom and that just didn't suit my tastes. Other than that, I recommend! read more

I went thru to get a grilled ham and cheese sourdough sandwinch and I got 2 cold ,not even toasted pieces of bread and a piece of cheese melted to a piece of ham .it was the worst ever ham sandwinch and was almost $ 5.00. the two said. Egg and cheese croissants would have. Been good but they were too dark overly tossed . Overall my first time ever ordering Dunkin doughnuts was no good and I don't think I'll look to go again anytime soon . This Dunkin' has to be the worst I've ever been to. During the beginning of covid they had the dining room open and now after over a year they lock the doors causing outrageous lines. I've ordered on the app and get there and I'm told the oven is down and I'm offered the cheapest item on the menu to compensate for the $5 sandwich I ordered. They're always out of medium and large cups. The drinks are disgusting and they don't even mix the drinks and half the time it looks like I'm getting mostly milk. I've gave them one last chance this past Saturday and needless to say they dropped the ball once again. I'm DONE with this location. Word of advice: don't waste your time or money! read more

They took quite some time to take my order in the drive thru, which I understand as they're likely understaffed due to covid. However, my order was completely wrong, even after they asked for and looked at my receipt after they had already given it to me. My peppermint mocha was a regular coffee.. with peppermint syrup. If i could rate this place negative 10 stars I would. The products themselves are good it's just all these employees are terrible. I sat at the speaker for almost 10 minutes waiting, i then pulled to the window and there were 2 employees inside that completely ignored my existence. At this point i figured they were closed but they should at least put a sign on the speaker or at least come to the window and say hey sorry we are closed. Completely rude and unprofessional. I went to see if the doors were locked as one last try and they were and as I was about to leave I heard one of the employees talking about me. "They done pulled around to the front door, they want Dunkin that bad?" She said. I knocked a few times then left and told 2 other cars with customers they were closed since the employees couldn't do it themselves. So I ordered a Carmel frozen coffee and I repeated it because I thought she had it wrong. She confirmed it and still gave me the wrong drink (it was mocha) and when I said something she just put whip cream on it and Carmel so I had a mocha with whip cream and Carmel on top.
