Great place for a quick and filling breakfast…read more You order at the counter and have to seat yourself, but the staff is super friendly, and they do bring the food to your table and bus the table afterwards. We arrived to a long line to order, but the line moved quickly, and the food came out very quickly. At the same time, there was no push for us to clear out quickly, so we were able to relax to enjoy our breakfast. I had the eggstreme biscuits with chicken tenders added on. The biscuits were fluffy despite being drenched in the spicy sausage gravy and topped with two eggs (I went with easy over). The chicken tenders were juicy and yet stayed crispy in the gravy. My meal was huge, and I shouldn't have finished it, but I couldn't help myself. It was that good. I also had a cold brew, which was delicious, especially when made up with the maple sweetener and a splash of cream. My kids enjoyed their kids meals, and my husband enjoyed his chicken biscuit and half waffle. I'll happily return the next time I'm in the area and wanting a breakfast outside of my resort.

The biggest problem with this location is the small parking lot. It can get very busy on a weekend morning. But the staff is friendly and usually quite efficient once you find a parking spot. I really like the food here. The very first thing I ever ate here was the farmer and it has always been my go to. It is a biscuit with fried chicken cheese, bacon, and apple butter. I love the sweet, salty, and savory altogether. The five and Dime is another hit and I think their signature sandwich. It is like the farmer but instead of apple butter it has gravy and it also has an egg. They also have some pretty good waffles, which is what I get for my kid when I take him here. Their tea and coffee selection is robust. The only downside is that as they have gotten bigger and they have lost some of their personal touches. They used to ask me funny questions and would use that to help find you to give you your order. They might ask who your favorite superhero was and call you that way. Now they just give you a number like everywhere else. The other downside is the price is on the high side and seems to have increased more as of late. Food is really good though.

My husband had the grilled cheese along with the chicken and rice soup, and he really enjoyed both. Very cute place with good food and friendly service. Nothing was overly salty and everything we ordered we would all order again. The Chef Salad was large and looked fancy with fresh vegetables and lettuce and meat and cheese roll ups. The Texas Club was a tasty chicken salad sandwich on crisp Texas Toast with a nice light taste. The Country Fried Chicken was moist, easy to cut with a fork and seasoned just right. We don't often find a fried chicken breast as nice as this one. The fried green tomatoes were plentiful and prepared just right and perfectly crisp. Our server today was Annabel and she was just as friendly and attentive as we wanted/needed. When we sat down, I was hoping this might become my new favorite restaurant and they lived up to that hope. We live close to an hour away but I'm thinking we may drive back for breakfast tomorrow. This is most definitely a highly recommended place to visit.

Older lady, you can tell she's been around as a waitress for a while. Kind of reminds me of like the old diner waitresses "What are you having" lol. Anyway, she was awesome. She let us pick off both options. We ordered the pirate one which is BBQ choices and we got some of the sea dog options for the seafood side. So sweet. We first got our bread. It was good. Tasted like a yeast bread. Came oiled and with sweet butter. It also came with a salad as well for the table which had cheese, tomatoes onion and greens. The salad dressing was light and sweet. The main food came. It came with ribs, flank steak, pulled pork, brisket, beans, string beans, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, sausage, and shrimp. 3 sauces came with it, regular bbq, mango bbq and mustard. The mango bbq had real mango in it. Now, preface by saying I understand this isn't a 5 star Michelin chef meal and I wasn't expecting much. However, this was actually very good. The steak was very good. Not dry. The brisket was good. The ribs were good not dry. The pulled pork was dry. The salmon was good, The shrimp was good, Sausage was good, the string beans were ok, the macaroni was very heavy but good and the mashed potatoes were good. Overall I was very impressed. Then for dessert came our chocolate chip covered ice cream with heath bar bits. So very fattening.

-7 years of patronage! -…read more I was 1st to review these fine folks in 2018 and have since had breakfast here many times. This visit was my 1st time for lunch! Important note- This is NOT the franchise chain with a similar name! This is a different family-run, single location restaurant. Pro Tip- Breakfast & Lunch only. Just check Yelp for dinner options in the area. Arriving- They are on the Northbound side of US Route 27, hidden in the Sebring Square Plaza. They're nestled among a string of plazas and signage is not great. Use your GPS. Hint- Look for the Winn-Dixie or Advanced Auto Parts signage and you're there! As they are in a plaza, parking is almost always a snap. Ambience- Don't get excited. It's standard Florida Kitch. You don't go to an inexpensive restaurant to admire the décor. You expect neat and clean, and you will absolutely get that here. Pro Tip- Wi-Fi can be spotty due to the business location. They do have Wi-Fi, but it's restricted to management only. Not the servers, not the customers, just management! Say goodbye to one half star! Customer Service- 10 Stars! I was seated with a menu and had my drink within a minute. I placed my order within a minute of when I was ready and my food was out in less than 10 minutes. Just perfection! My wonderful server was Bobbi-Lynn. I know this because a card on the table told me so. When she delivered my check, she flipped the card over and there was a message. See my picture. So unique and appreciated! Pro Tip- As with many great places in this area, the Sunday church rush is something you do not want to experience! Here it begins around noon so beware of Sundays! Food- Standard American comfort food at its best. As they are in the city of Sebring, you might see a dish called Sebring this or Sebring that, but that's just a marketing ploy. It's still just good ole comfort food. On this visit my trusted Yelp Friend, Art J., recommended the Patty Melt & Crinkle Cut Fries so I went with that. Great job Art! My Melt was piping hot and cooked just as I requested. The caramelized onions were perfect. The fries were hot and crispy. Just a wonderful lunch for about $13 and change. Conclusion- Over 8 years, these fine folks have almost 700 reviews that average 4.5 stars from Yelp and that other site that some folks use and that's impressive. When I first reviewed them, this wasn't true, but they have matured, and I now agree! If they ever change their misguided Wi-Fi decision, I'd go 5 stars!

They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and we chose to sit outside where the live music was playing. It was comfortable and well ventilated, and as the evening went on, it actually cooled down nicely. They have live music on the weekends, but I thought the volume was just right -- we could still easily carry on a conversation without having to talk over the music. I ordered the NA Rose, which I thought was delicious! It was a little on the sweeter side for me, but I still really enjoyed it. For an appetizer, I got the Southern Board and it was SO good! There were several delicious options, and I especially enjoyed all the pickled items. It was very plentiful and definitely shareable, but honestly, there was enough that it could easily be a meal on its own. For my main, I ordered the Keel Salad. I really enjoyed it, and the pork belly was such a good addition and made it a little different from your typical grilled chicken Cobb salad. The vegetables were fresh, and I would definitely order this again. The only downside for us was the wait for our food. We waited well over an hour for our entrees. Our waiter was good about keeping us updated and explained that the kitchen/tickets were backed up. He continued to reassure us that our food was coming, which I appreciated. We did get our appetizer first, but there was still a pretty long wait before our mains came out. That being said, I really enjoyed the food, atmosphere, outdoor seating, and live music. Hopefully the long wait was just an unusually busy night because I would definitely come back and give Keel Farms another try!
