For about the last 10 years I have had a spot on my upper left gum that had receded as a result of aggressive brushing. I finally decided to make the call when I noticed that the area was inflamed and rising ever so slightly. Upon calling, I spoke with a staff member who ended up being the daughter of the doctor and owner. She was able to answer all of my questions readily and was so kind and pleasant. Ultimately, she was the reason that I decided to make an appointment with this location even though they were out of network for me (I was so taken aback by the fact that even though I was not a current patient, she was willing to sit on the phone and answer every single one of my questions that I had even regarding procedures that they don't conduct in the office; ie. A dental implant). I was able to meet with Dr. Anderson and I felt comfortable right away. He is probably one of the top 10 nicest people I have ever met in my life, hands-down. He did such a fantastic job explaining what I had going on and ultimately decided that he didn't want to do anything because my gum tissue was still healthy and he had a feeling that the inflammation would go down with the proper care on my end. After taking some photos of my teeth and gum and viewing x-rays from my dentist, he sat down and talked with me about what I could do to help fix the issue, and also make sure that it didn't continue to progress. I also asked him about a dental implant, which they don't do in the office (I still have a baby tooth in my mouth that never had an adult tooth beneath). He was so kind and walked me through all of the different options and had some fantastic suggestions that definitely settled my nerves. I left the office completely at ease and sure of myself that I could help remedy this issue. If you or a loved one need to go see a periodontist, this is your guy! He truly believes in education versus just doing a procedure because he can and charging you money. I can't thank him and his daughter enough.

The staff is excellent. They are friendly and extremely professional. I had 23 extractions and temporary dentures within a couple hours. Here it is 5 months later and I am looking forward to the permanent dentures. The initial dentures have only required reline, but that is healing taking place. If you need dentures, there is no better place in Omaha.

The bottom dentures did not fit right, and for five years now, he has just gummed his food. I knew that most likely since it was just the lower dentures that they most likely needed an adjustment. I decided that if they did right by Dad, my own teeth needed work and I would go there. When we got there, Dad had forgotten his billfold with his ID in it. I had his insurance card, which they didn't ask for. They wanted his ID. I told them to assist him, and I would run home quickly and grab his ID. I even had to talk loudly to Dad to let him know. He may be old, and a little hard of hearing, and walks slowly now, but he has an excellent memory and is on the ball. I got in the car and got to 60th and Dodge, when they told me that they wouldn't get him in and that I had to reschedule, with him sitting right across from them. I said to the girl, "I will be right back with his ID. "We aren't going to get him in," she responded, "you have to reschedule." I was incensed. "He is right there, I am coming right back with his license," She said, no, we are going to reschedule. "This is crazy," I am going to get his license, He is right there!" But she wasn't having it. Then she had the audacity to ask me," So would you like to reschedule?" I replied and I usually don't cuss at people, but it was "F*ck, no!" I have got to turn back and I will come back and get him." If the type of clients they have had in the past are so bad, that they can't trust them, my guess is there is probably bedbugs or scabies in the place anyway. This could have been resolved easily, but they screwed his dentures when he first got them, so my guess is that they would have screwed him yet again. On the way home I found a dental clinic that has much better reviews.

I was told my portion would be around $700 day of the appointment. I showed up and paid that. 5 months later I get a call from Summit dental stating my insurance declined the crown and I was responsible for the entire bill, another almost $700 ! Then they immediately start harassing me with phone calls to pay this bill because it's "past 90 days " overdue. Well I just found out about it and obviously they didn't actually pre authorize it or they would have known my insurance doesn't pay for crowns on that tooth!

Had to cancel my first appointment because they needed additional information. They knew what my insurance was and said nothing about it. Tried to reschedule (super limited days and times) now all of a sudden they don't accept my secondary insurance. Could have told me that months ago! Been in pain for several months trying to get this taken care of. I don't care how good the dentist is supposed to be, being treated like a piece of garbage by his staff person (same one each time) is very unprofessional, rude, and absolutely uncalled for and unacceptable! GOOD RIDDANCE SUMMIT!!
