She actually starts squealing with excitement about 3 miles from Lucky Dog. We love the extra services you can get like "the Works" bath, ear cleaning and nails trimmed. We went through a period of family members having health issues. It was a blessing knowing we could call and take Ellie for boarding at a moments notice. During one unexpected stay we had to be away longer than we had anticipated the Lucky Dog staff had no issue getting her extra food to tide her over until we returned. When we inherited a second dog Max, we knew he would love Lucky Dog too. Daycare is sometimes more activity than he prefers but he is happy to board with them. For his first time boarding Greg made sure he put Max in a kennel with his sister to help him cope with this new experience. When the dogs come home they are happy and ready for a nap! The staff are all top notch and we truly feel like they are extended family. We couldn't be happier with Lucky Dog daycare and boarding!

The staff are friendly and knowledgable. When I explained my dog was a bit shy, they explained they would slowly introduce him to some of the calmer dogs before letting him out to play with all the dogs. One of my favorite features is that they close for "lunch" for a couple of hours. During this time each dog is offered their own food (if you brought some) and water in a private kennel. I like this because it gives the dogs a break from all the social interaction. They have a handy electronic check in and reservation system. Plus, you even get a deal if you buy so many days of daycare at one time. They also offer their bathing facilities for free if you'd like to bathe your dog there, or you can pay for services like bathing and nail trimming while you're gone. Lastly, they offer boarding services only to their customers who go to doggy daycare. Their boarding services include plenty of interactive playtime out of the kennel.

I talked to a lot of different day cares in town and most of them said, "Sorry, day care probably just won't work for your dog." Since he's still a puppy, I was not willing to give up so easily on getting him socialization and play with other dogs. Dog Haus University said they had worked with tons of dogs just like ours, and that they pride themselves on not just giving dogs a place to play, but teaching them how to play and interact with other dogs. We are SO glad we brought our dog here and SO thankful for the effort they put into helping dogs that other day cares won't work with. Our dog loves going to day care and is getting more and more confident around other dogs outside of day care. He used to have an issue with growling at any dog who tried to approach him, and between some training and his time at day care, that has stopped and he is beginning to even act interested in being friends with other dogs! On top of that, they're super friendly and went above and beyond to get our pup into more days on their schedule. Couldn't recommend them more!

We cannot recommend Tyrese at A Howling Good Time Dog Training highly enough! FIVE STARS!!…read moreWe adopted a rescue dog who is half Great Pyrenees and half Husky--two breeds well known for their intelligence, independence, and reputation for being difficult to train. In fact, another trainer we contacted declined to work with her because of her breed mix. Tyrese, however, welcomed the challenge with confidence, patience, and skill. For one month, three days a week, Tyrese worked with our dog, Margot, and completely transformed her behavior. She is still the smart, independent thinker we love, but she now reliably comes when called (sometimes with side-eye, lol) and stays on command--something we weren't sure would ever be possible. The progress she made is remarkable and her spirit is intact. What impressed us most was Tyrese's training style. He is incredibly kind and gentle with our dog, and she was never fearful or stressed during training. At the same time, he maintains complete control and earns her respect through consistency and clear communication. It is obvious that he truly understands dogs and how to bring out their best. Tyrese also invests heavily in training the owners. He visited our home initially to observe her behavior and provided many instructional videos, of his work with Margot, for us. At pick up time, Tyrese also spends one-on-one time reinforcing the skills we need to continue our dog's success, His commitment to both Margot and the family makes all the difference. If you're looking for a trainer who is patient, knowledgeable, effective, and genuinely cares about your dog's well-being, Tyrese is the person to call.
