I tried one home-based service and was hugely disappointed so I figured I'd be better off sending her to a boarding facility so for the past two years that's where I've been sending her when I need to go out of town. And it was pretty good. But then C&K arrived and I will never have my doggy stay overnight anywhere else. Not only did they come pick her up and drop her off (!) but she didn't have to sleep in a kennel and wasn't alone overnight. She got to cuddle on the couch just like at home and had a big backyard to play in with her doggy friends. They'll send you pictures and videos of your pup while you're away if you want and are super easy to communicate with. Professionalism is everything when I am spending money somewhere. I was not greeted or acknowledged as I came in. Very cold demeanor towards my dog and myself. It was almost as if she was irritated, I showed up to my appointment. I was very on edge leaving my dog as I should have listened to my first instinct. An hour into the appointment Tina called for me to pick up my dog as he was too much for her to deal with and he was experiencing extreme stress. My dog has never had any issue with any other groomer before, so I don't trust the care I left him in. I picked up my puppy with damp and uneven shaven fur. He looked ridiculous. Tina tried to blame it on his age, saying he could not handle the process. I've never had any complaints before, so I believe my puppy was not comfortable with her handling him. I do not recommend this business for any puppies as Tina chooses not to have the patience for them. I will never be returning and learned my lesson about trying out a new groomer.

After taking her there for 1-2 days a week regularly, at pick up, we were told it was not a good fit for our dog, as she is relentless with play, and will not stay away from the other dogs, and they are very afraid she will get bit, as there are "bigger more aggressive" guys in there who could "really hurt her". The worker was very nice, but stated how concerned he was that she might get hurt. Understandable. Our dog will play play play; if a dog is around, she wants them to be her best friend. Upon returning home, I noticed that our girl had a gash near her eye- she had clearly been bit or, at a minimum, was on the end of an act of aggression. It seems the worker was not transparent, as she clearly did get hurt. I ultimately ended up emailing the manager, asking if it was typical policy to effectively kick out the dog who was injured, as it seems counterintuitive to kick her out, stating she is a liability as she won't leave dogs alone, and some get sick of her. It feels as though the dog who is the concern for the act of aggression would be the greater liability. At any rate, the owner responded that she probably incurred the "cut" because she was "annoying another dog". I would have appreciated communication if this was the issue, as nothing was ever brought to our attention prior to this. Just an honest review that if you have an active younger dog, you may want to consider sending them somewhere else where the dogs are divided by age/size/temperment.

Jack and Jody came to my house and had a consultation and I told them exactly what I was looking for and they agreed to it. I have a later schedule due to my work and I have a diabetic dog that I was hoping could be walked and fed and given her insulin. They agreed to it with no problem and I was very excited for my first experience of hiring someone to help take care of my dog. The very first time they came over, they were supposed to text me after everything was done to let me know how it went. I never received a text and I had to text them in order to find out how it went. That was the first red flag! The second time they were supposed to take care of my dog I had to work even later than normal. That text I was supposed to receive I never got. Because I was busy at work I didn't have time to text them and find out how it went. As I was driving home at 9:30 at night I receive a text that they never made it to my house to take care of my dog. My dog was now two hours overdue for her insulin and that put her at home for 11 hours without being taken out to go to the bathroom. Needless to say I was horrified by this event. In the text Jody had some excuse about them getting sidetracked and then simply stated "we forgot." This to me is absolutely unacceptable for people whose profession is to take care of dogs. She then stated I just don't think we'll be able to work with your schedule. If that was the case they never should've excepted what I was asking for. I went through all this work to basically have them turn around and say sorry we can't work with you. I hold them 100% responsible for this mishap and if you love and cherish your dog DO NOT have these people take care of your beloved pet!!! And then to top things off it took them over two days to return the keys to my house and my refund for services that were never performed. Unbelievable! Beware!
