The menu on the front of the pop up tent
    Jim L.

I was pleasantly surprised at a new pop up food vendor at San Leandro's Bay Fair's farmer's market, joining the great tamale, indian (get the lamb curry) and kettle popcorn stalls. The very large menu is at the front, the food is already cooked, and they seem to be making some in the back of the tent. They keep the food in steam baskets and closed trays. I got the chives pancake, 3 for $15. A single folding table that seats 6 is between it and some bake goods stalls, so you might not sit. That is okay, because it is finger/chopstick food, and i took mine home 10 min away and it was still hot and tasty. Yummy, soft and tasty, each pocket of goodness can fill 1 person's snack craving. Yes, going back and trying other stuff.

SO GOOD!!! I can't wait to come back. This might be my favorite potsticker place!! Highly recommend getting the pork potsticker :)

Food was really good! They were at the Concord Farmers' Market in Todos Santos Plaza. The people running the stand were very nice. We got the vegan siu mai, har gow, scallion pancakes, and apple buns. The apple buns look like apples which was really cool

    Chive pancakes with pork dumplings

I'm lucky that Dumpling King comes to the Santa Clara Farmer's Market each Saturday because they are amazing! I always get the shrimp har gow (so sweet and plump!), but they also have other good items like pork dumplings, pancakes, and more. Recently, toward the end of the farmer's market, they gave me several dumplings to try for free when I ordered a chive pancake. Very sweet and great service even during the long lines :)

Jiang Bing first time trying ever. Pretty good.

I went to get some Mansera bread (I usually go to the one in Palo Alto) but church is closer by the one in Campbell, so I decided to pick up some bread and apparently there is a huge food stall thing happeng on the street that Mansera bread is. I did not know such an event took place in Campbell. Which I am going to have to check out as someone who loves food. So many places looked good, and right in front of Mansera bread was Dumpling King. I've always seen Jiang Bing on TV and wanted to try it. Seeing it being made before my eyes, I knew I had to try it. I got the grilled bbq pork Jiang Bing and their popcorn chicken, which they were raving about. The Jiang Bing was excellent, well seasoned and well cooked egg wrap with the perfect amount of veggies and meat ratio with some good sauce. I think I need to try their chive pancakes next. Their popcorn chicken was okay. It was made fresh, so that was good, but 13 dollars for the amount that I received was a little steep. But yeahbcheck it out yall

Tender and delicious shrimp and chicken dumplings at the Campbell Farmers Market. They came with a tasty spicy dipping sauce as well.

I like to look for new spins on lattes to see what barista's are whipping up to make things unique. I came in thinking I was going to get a basic latte, but the Borgia Mocha caught my eye! I asked the cashier if it was a good choice and she recommended it. I was a little unsure how the two would blend and how much orange they would use in it, but it came out amazing! Honestly probably one of the top 10 unique mocha's I have tried and it was delicious! I loved the burst of refreshing orange that complimented the chocolate. The flavors danced on my tastebuds like two separate flavors that blended together as one. Each holding their own note that added value to the drink making it unique. I was instantly impressed and wish I found this on more menus! A classic mocha with a refreshing twist of orange was a pleasant surprise! I'm so glad I stopped in for a pick me up! I also loved all the art on the large walls and there looked to be plenty of tables and seating for people to eat and work at.

Was meeting up with a friend from Berkeley and he found this spot in between the both of us. Pros and cons! + The coffee - holy shit. Got a cortado. And drank it without sugar it was so good. A touch of bitter (it's coffee - duh!) but so smooth, almost nutty but buttery at the same time. + Got a chicken salad sandwich. It came stacked HIGH with hints of sweetness and curry. Freshest produce. Honestly, I was hungry but could only eat half of it, it was so big. + Friend got a warmed cinnamon bun. Incredible. Yeasty, chewy almost crisp on the outside but pillowy soft on the inside. + Wide open space inside -- high ceilings, one big central area. Not tucked away spaces -- which might or might not match your preference. + Perfect amount of coffeehouse buzz. Music playing lowish in the background and lots of conversations. Just enough to quell my ADHD tendencies. * Honestly can't think of any negatives. Prices are a bit high but happy to pay it for such a quality experience. I think my cortado was decently priced -- maybe $6 or so? Sandwich was $18 or so but done really well and came with a bowl of soup (chips, fruit, and something else was an option instead of soup, but tomato bisque with a sandwich? Divine.) - An hour away from where I live but if you live anywhere East Bay, my curse is your blessing ;-)

Desserts: *Blueberry Ube Cheesecake *Pistachio Ricotta Cake *Dubai Pistachio Chocolate Cake with Biscoff Cookie Butter *Red Velvet Cheesecake Cup Nile just baked the Dubai cake and mentioned she would have a slice for herself that night. It was sweet and decadent for sure. Definitely perfect for sharing! I loved the blueberry ube cheesecake and so did Mom! I was looking for my leftovers and they disappeared from the fridge. Creamy and slightly fruity with that thick buttery crust-- amazing! Pistachio Ricotta cake was light and moist. Perfect when you want something delicately sweetened for tea time. Red Velvet cheesecake cup was just ok for me due to the cheesecake frosting. I think I would've preferred a whole slice of cake instead. This bakery kiosk is a part of Turkish-Mediterranean restaurant Moussaka. Interior has the cutest cafe tables and chairs. Love the grey with baby pink + mint green color scheme. Step inside and go directly to the dessert display to place an order. They're also on DoorDash. Can't wait to see what Chef Nile comes up with next!

After taking a trip back to Oakland and back to Harry's, only to see that the line was still very long, we "ended up" at I HOP. I have to say that it was the best thing that could have happened to us! The restaurant was clean and the service was great! We didn't have the Thanksgiving dinner we planned; but ordered breakfast. It was delicious! The portion was very satisfying, and our server, SHANE, was delightful and professional! The manager on duty, whose name I don't remember, was also very kind and professional. We had no idea that this IHOP was here, but by a happy accident, we have discovered it! I've already recommended it to others; and my Bestie and I will be regular visitors there. The pancakes were cold, the eggs over easy were not fully cooked the way they should be, and the bacon was boring at best. My husband ordered the ham and cheese omelet with two pancakes, with a side of hash browns and he was much happier with his meal, so at least that worked out. A cup of coffee is $4.79 and it is a never-ending pot, so that part is a decent value. Parking is ample, but the service was less than adequate. We went on a Friday mid-morning around 10:30. It was relatively crowded, but the service still felt slow and lackluster. All in all, the food matched the price. Not terrible, not great, just one of those meals where you shrug and say, "We got what we paid for."

This place is huge and very busy, but they clearly have their process down because everything came out efficiently and exactly as ordered for everyone in our party -- which is impressive for such a large table. I had a side salad, a virgin Bloody Mary, and the ham, egg & cheese breakfast sandwich. My husband ordered the crispy chicken sandwich, and we shared a strawberry-topped pancake. Everything we tried was delicious and the drinks were great too. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the long wait to be seated, but honestly it's worthy of the wait. Once you're in, the service moves quickly and smoothly. The menu is big and caters to an American diner type of taste; eggs, sandwiches, burgers and similar fare. The service was prompt and friendly, and the food came out at a reasonable time. They're quick to accommodate dietary needs and preferences as well. The food itself was only alright. I ordered one of their specials, the Petrale Sole, and it was under seasoned and a bit too oily for my tastes. It also comes with your choice of soup or salad, along with a separate dinner side (rice, spaghetti, some form of potato, etc.) as well. All of these were also just okay. The pricing is reflective of the plethora of sides, which I personally dislike, as I would prefer lower pricing with no sides if given the option. Overall, this does feel like classic American diner fare, which has never really been my cuisine of choice. It's not bad, by any means, but it doesn't stand out to me.
