Was able to visit Dull's for the first time with my family before they switched everything over for the Christmas/Tree season, and we had so much fun!! Oh my goodness there are so many activities to enjoy, both for kids and adults. The place was so crowded on a Saturday afternoon, and you could tell everyone was having a wonderful time. I would definitely recommend heading out there! A few things to note: first, dogs are allowed! If you are like me and have a trained service animal, it can be a bit overwhelming (if you know, you know). They are not allowed in indoor spaces, only outside (SD's allowed everywhere). But many people had their pets and seemed to really be enjoying themselves! Second, food does not really meet dietary needs/restrictions. They have a lot of your basic "fair foods" or foods you'd find at a pumpkin patch - hot pretzels, burgers, hot dogs, apple cider donuts, etc. I am vegetarian and really struggled to find a true meal other than little snacky things scattered about. If you are planning to spend the day here (which you can EASILY do), plan ahead with food in your car! Third, on the plus side, everything was wheelchair accessible. Terrain may be harder to navigate with gravel and many hills going up & down (paths are dirt but well established), but all buildings have access. Other than this, it truly was a fun time!! My friend and I went here on a Friday afternoon to get our pumpkin patch experience for the fall season. We were astounded with how many activities there were. From pumpkin painting and petting zoos to paintball games and multiple playground areas for kids! There is a large staff presence at every corner to help guide you in any direction, everyone was very kind. We also tried the apple cider slushies and my friend tried the apple cider donut and said it was one of the best she's tried! It does cost $16.50 for general admission, but they give you an activity card to take part in most of the offerings. Dull's tree farm has been selling Christmas trees, pumpkins and more since 1985. All of the produce and trees are grown on their farm. In the fall, you can pick your own pumpkins and gourds and make a day of it with the family. The best part is that you know the pumpkins are fresh, because they are still on the vine. We took our granddaughter to pick out a big pumpkin this week. The staff is friendly and there was a field of pumpkins to choose from. The walk was not long as parking is close to the pumpkin patch. We picked out a 20 pounder that will be perfect for carving. Pumpkin prices run 49 cents a pound this year. There is a massive playground with all sorts of features but we did not have time to play. Covered picnic tables are around to eat lunch or snacks. A shop sells sweatshirts and other farm themed products. Dull's is an educational and fun experience for the family. this is a great family adventure. We've made two trips out to this Christmas tree farm and have thoroughly enjoyed our time. You can ride a wagon or walk out to get your tree. They provide pre-cut trees as well. This is a dog friendly place however they are not allowed to ride the wagon out cut the trees so be mindful if that's what you'd like to do. They also have a little market to shop in. You can buy fresh cut wreaths and roping. they have a little snack area where you can buy hot drinks, yummy donuts and also a couple of different sandwiches. Lots of parking they help you with your tree. My favorite part is that they shake your tree in this little machine. Love this because I don't wanna take home any unwanted guest that might have used the tree for their home. lol read more

The corn maze was fun! It was a cloudy and dreary day, with rain here and there but we were able to finish our bingo card and turn it in for a drawing. The entrance price has gone up but they do offer a lot of activities on the farm, corn maze included. My favorite part was the apple cider donuts, definitely the best I've ever had. I would go and just buy these. They only sell 1/2 a dozen at the most but you can buy 2 and worth it! The employees were great, everyone was pleasant. The farm wasn't busy since it had been raining which was great because the line for the donuts was super short! Enjoyed it and would like to go back when it's sunny to see more of it. read more

My family visits Dull's every year to get a tree, but this was the first year I heard about the pumpkin patch. It's an hour drive, but after so many recommendations, we decided to make the hike. You can purchase tickets online and save money. It was a warm fall day so the crowd was busy as expected. We rushed to the food first. Beware - there are a LOT of bees! We ordered the pork and it was quite tasty. You can't leave there without getting apple cider donuts and an apple slushie. We ventured down the big slide, played basketball, threw tennis balls at the targets, pedaled cars, bounced on balls and visited the pumpkin patch. I was a little disappointed in the selection at the patch itself so we headed back to the display pumpkins and made our picks. My daughter has indicated she hopes to make this an annual trip. Even with the crowds, things are spread out enough that you don't end up spending all your time in lines. We did miss the corn maze, hay ride and air cannons and I've heard those are quite fun! read more

This place is a must for any and all fall activities. The kids had a blast in the slides and playground, they have so many different things for them to do. There's pumpkins and mums everywhere, they have a little indoor shop, apple cider slushies, apple cider donuts, food vendors, the biggest corn maze I've ever seen, and of course the pumpkin patch that you have to take the hay ride too. The only downfall is that it's not the easiest to stroll thru with a stroller you have to do a lot of off roading lol but we had fun. We plan to go again for Christmas so we can experience cutting our own tree down. Ticket prices were also very reasonable. read more

Congratulations to everyone who has been keeping this place a secret for so long (I've clearly not been paying attention) But now I'm telling everyone I know about this place! First heard of Dull's from some people who got pumpkins here. Their pumpkin patch hours were a little limited so was not able to make it for that. However, I had a feeling it was somewhere we needed to go, so made the 35 minute journey for a tree and it was so worth it. From the moment we pulled into the parking lot, I knew this was going to become an annual tradition for my family. Was immediately greeted and given the lay of the land, where to go for everything. Have never cut down our own tree before, but we grabbed a wagon and a saw and headed out! So many trees to choose from, all were beautiful. The sawing process was actually pretty easy, not nearly as difficult as I thought. After we loaded it up on the wagon, we brought it back and went through the very easy process of paying, shaking (had never seen that done before), wrapping and tying to the car. Super easy. Then we had to walk around. There were two different "concessions" area but definitely had a wider variety of food than I would have thought. Had a HUGE selection of wreaths and other greenery and all were absolutely beautiful. There was also a nice fire pit and a cool play area. Not to mention animals! Finished in the trading post with an ornament, kettle corn and fudge. I cannot say enough good things about Dull's. Was blown away by the number of people working there and how friendly they all were. Parking is also widely available. This was our first time, so by no means an expert, but I do think we went at the perfect time. Was told they were crazy busy over Black Friday weekend, and we went on the following Tuesday. So missed that rush, but got in early enough to still see a wide inventory. Would also recommend getting there before dark, as I can't imagine the tree area would be well lit to pick out your favorite. 10/10, can't wait to return to experience everything else they have to offer there. read more

Did I just walk out of a halmark movie?! Dulls has created the most magical memories throughout the seasons for our family. Every. single. detail. is on point! They staff is beyond friendly, helpful, and hospitable. It's not uncommon for someone to walk around asking if you need anything or if you'd like them to snap a family photo... which you definately will want if you visit. The grounds are decorated beautifully for each season and it's the most picturesque spot to grab a picture. For the fall season you can expect over 40 activities which range from wagon rides, corn mazes, giant slides, fire pits, tipsy turvy chairs, and so many more. Our one year old had a blast, but truly there are activities for all ages. Don't pass up the apple cider slush or the doughnuts either while you're there. For the winter season, come grab some festive decor for your front door or even your family tree. There's plenty to do in the winter season too.. we enjoy cozying up by the fire and sipping hot coco. I give Dull's five stars for family fun. We drove an hour and a half on a suggestion from a friend and were not disappointed. We didn't even need a Christmas tree. Firstly, if you have high energy kids, this is the spot. Tons to climb on and do with lots of wide open spaces. This is the natural environment for kids 8-10.... We drank hot coco by the fire, shopped, took lots of pictures and rode the big slide...twice. We'll be back next year. Also, it looks like they book parties and events. Things I liked: - its own little community - so many things to do! - wreaths, beverages, bites, ornaments, and more to purchase - pick-your-own tree - trimmings and tree stumps available, with suggested donation for local cause - lots of photo ops and backdrops - campfire to warm up - 4 species of trees to choose from; pricing is based on species and size, I believe - friendly staff Things I wasn't a fan of: - holy hell this place was BUSY the Sunday after Thanksgiving - no tractor rides to/from the farm to pay for your tree - a relatively small tree farm compared to others so be sure to go early! While this can't compare to the nostalgia of my go-to farm I've gone to since I was a kid, this place does a good job. read more

Dull's Tree Farm is a great place to go for the holiday season but it also has a great spring event, the Adult Egg Hunt! For the price of your team's entry fee, teams of 4-6 people, 21 or older, can hunt for eggs, play games, compete for prizes and enjoy good food and drinks. There are fun group activities in finding the eggs which makes it a great team building experience. Lunch, dessert and drinks are included and we were thoroughly impressed with the food, fresh lemonade and homemade stroopwafle sundaes. The stroopwafles are made fresh right there and smell amazing! Updating my review to include our Christmas tree experience for the past two years. Last year we got our tree on a rainy day so we were in and out. Each employee was kind and helpful but we didn't stick around to check everything out. This year we went on opening weekend and had a great time! Lots of trees you can cut down and multiple types to choose from. We always go with a Canaan Fir. Dull's provides carts and saws to cut down and lug back to the area where they shake and wrap the tree. They'll even come help you with getting in on the roof of your car securely. This place is a well oiled machine. Don't be intimidated by the lines. They go quick. Tons of employees to help direct you every step of the way and all wearing masks (COVID season). Lots of cute set ups for photo ops with the fam and two food stands that offer food and specialty drinks that come in a cute souvenir mug. They have a new barn that has lots of local goods like honey, jams, fudge, etc. I got myself a cute Dull's Tree Farm crew neck sweatshirt. Going to Dull's for our Christmas tree has become a tradition that we hope to carry on for many years to come! Cannot recommend this place more. Check it out! read more

Super disappointing. Christian music blaring from the speakers - look, I get it, we're in Indiana, but if I'd known it was going to be like that I wouldn't have gone. In the gift shop / check out area they featured one book on Christianity and two on "food BS", which when flipped through promoted propaganda like hormones in your meat being good for you and refuted the meat and dairy industry destroying the environment - zero sources cited. Not much mask enforcement, very few actual pumpkins, and the cider was subpar. Going left me with a bad feeling and a lot of anxiety. It's cool if this is your kind of place, but I can't support a company who actively works to distribute and perpetuate lies about the meat and dairy industry and forces their religious beliefs on you. read more

The staff are friendly and will help shake/ bake your tree. They have food and drinks available (get the Apple cider donuts and French vanilla hot chocolate). Had no idea that Dull's Tree Farm was out there until out photographer offered a Christmas mini session. The location is tucked away from the city but on a gorgeous lot with a very quaint, rustic feel. Even if you're not interested in a tree (I'll admit - we're a fake tree family, but this place makes me want a real one!) there's a lot to check out here with a little gift shop and a little snack shack. If you come here, you absolutely *must* try the apple cider donuts. I thought they would be small since they were so cheap but they're decently sized, especially for the price. Definitely worth the trip out there, even from the south side of Indy. Looking forward to visiting here again next year! read more

If you're in need of seasonal fun, this is the place to be! Truly fun for the whole family with activities located across miles of property. A hayride will take you across the street to an excellent corn maze (not too challenging, but definitely gets you walking for about an hour if you play your bingo card for a free cookie) and the pumpkin patch. Pumpkins are $0.35/lb with a wide variety available (big/little, orange/white/green, gourds, etc) and wheelbarrows provided to help you get them to your car. On top of the basics, they have the following activities that I tried: a pumpkin cannon that goes off every hour, a huge slide for racing down on carpets, a slingshot range, hamster wheel-esque racing, animals for petting, and even old school stilts. You can pay with credit card for almost everything you'll want, but if you want some killer kettle corn, bring cash. The food barn is beautiful and offers basic picnic type edibles, but has a $5 limit on credit cards. I highly recommend the apple cider, which they also have in slushie form on hotter days and hot spiced for cold days. I went with some friends on a beautiful sunny fall day. One of my friends had been going here since she was young and was excited to take us. It is a little out of the way and we may have took some wrong turns to get there, but it was definitely worth it! There's a fee at the entrance, but it pays for basically all of the activities, and there are so many different things to do while you're here. They have the typical corn maze and pumpkin patch, but they also have a giant slide, slingshots, and a pumpkin cannon. It's a nice place to spend an afternoon with a variety of fun fall activities for kids (or kids at heart). Even though there were a lot of people there, it didn't feel overwhelmingly crowded because everything is fairly spread out. And the apple cider donuts are a must try, they were delicious! A great place that just needs to figure out their process. This tree farm has blown up and if you go mid December your selection to cut anything is down to the slim pickings. We were there mid afternoon Black Friday and the lines were long. So we decided to get out there when they open and yet this is like any Black Friday sale. We were in a line of cars waiting just to park. From there all the tree carts were gone so we figured go cut the tree and drag it and send someone for a cart after. We go the tree and hopped in line dragging the tree why someone went and waited 20 minutes for a cart. We waited for 1:30 minutes to pay for our tree because the new process that's was suppose to speed things up really didn't. Then if you want someone to tie it to your vehicle after being processed here was another 30 minutes of another line. We didn't purchase anything else because after all the time waiting in line you are just worn out and ready to leave. I believe they could possibly speed up the process a couple different ways. One they could make a cash line only for paying and have the trees with tax an even number like $80,$90,100 so I could hand 4 $20s and we are done and to the next customer. Or they could look at a process I have seen at another tree farm where you bring the tree to a tractor with a cart they pull your tag off and say it will be ready by X allowing you to pay and walk around the place enjoying your self rather then spending the time just waiting in line. They cart the load of trees to processing and do everything why you wait. We might give it one more shot but some processes need improved. read more
