When we arrived there was a barn and we entered and Amy greeted us. She was so sweet and joyful. She showed us around and sorry I can't remember the mens names who drove a wagon out to the the fir tree section we wanted. My husband picked it out while I shopped their amazing barn. I had shopping bags of unique gifts for everyone on my list! Then they offered warm apple cider (delicious). The young men helped tie and wrap our tree. They were all so kind to us. Felt like family. Oh, and of course we had to use the bathroom before we drove our long ride home. Next year we will go with our kids and grandkids and make it our new tradition. The pic doesn't do the tree justice. We went here this year for our Christmas tree as we have for the last 10 years and they didn't have anything over 5 foot tall that wasn't pre-cut and pulled in from Canada. It looks like they've experienced some very poor inventory management over the years. So we ended up purchasing a pre-cut tree, about $100. And it was dropping needles everywhere when we decorated it later that day. 10 years ago I would've given them five stars, but now only three. I hope they're able to recover because this family friendly place truly has potential.

This is a store about Christmas and joy and these teenagers working had very poor attitudes. Some of the workers at the register were making rude comments and being very judgmental to the customers. My husband overheard 2 young workers, I believe one was blonde, gossiping about somebodys body weight and saying the most out of pocket comments. This should not be something any customer should be hearing from staff, especially young girls! Its a shame to see this wonderful location go down due to their employees. The amount of young workers I saw on their phones, standing around, It seems to me that these kids aren't made for a busy job like Pinecrest. Do better Pinecrest management! I stopped in again and bought another succulent (still 60% off) and a few small pumpkins (I think 3 for $1.25). The staff is very nice and helpful. I will be back in the spring to buy some plants for the patio.
