At some point in life, I forgot that Dulcinea sold anything aside from churros. Most people have known Dulcinea solely for their churros, which has delighted everyone for years. But now that more churro places are popping up all over Metro Manila, Dulcinea has to share the spotlight. Other churrerias have the advantage of cooking larger churros in front of their customers while they wait, which Dulcinea unfortunately doesn't do. So now that it's no longer the most beloved place to eat churros, lately I've been trying to sample more of their baked goods, and their cream puffs are one of them.
Yes, I go for the cream puffs.
You heard me. Freaking cream puffs. They're really good. Topped with frozen caramel, the pastry contains a cream filling that seems to melt even as you're holding it, right before you pop that delicious treat in your mouth. If you're sick and tired of ordering the same thing at Dulcinea all the time, try a box of their original cream puffs for only P36! (Still, their churros are as delicious and crunchy as ever.) read more
