Foltz's offers a wide variety of foods, but what drew my attention was the wood fired pizza! From wide selection of choices, I landed on the Philly. I am normally not a fan of white Alfredo sauced pizzas, but I am glad I went with this choice. The toppings were fresh and delicious, with a little crisp left in the onions and green peppers which made this pizza standout. Crust was the perfect balance of crisp and chew, the only criticism I had was the bottom Could've used 30 seconds longer - other than that fantastic pizza! They have a good variety of cheese here. Different types and aged at different intervals. You can go from the more mild younger cheese to the older sharper cheese as an example (trust me there's a lot of cheese here). I would definitely hit this place up more if I lived in the area. You can also buy cheeses from the dairy and others, as well as assorted related products at a small retail section or cut fresh from the cheese case. Parking is on the street and can be a pain in this saturated area. The reason for the drop in stars? Prior visits got you more wines and more food to pair it with. This visit had prices steady but fewer wines, less cheese and $1 upcharge for some wafer crackers. I know the economy is not great right now, but this now seems like an expensive place to bring friends, not a reasonable day outing.
