Clean logistics planning. Quick turnaround on contracts. Basic execution support (to include a small selection of on-hand decor). Great location, easy parking (private lot), beautiful views of campus, nestled in a small garden. The only three things renters should be aware of with the smaller chapel is, considering the age of the building, 1) sound proofing is non-existent. Every time a guest opens a door (chapel door, bathroom door, etc) you hear the open and close; 2) there really isn't much space for rollers, wheel chairs, etc in the small chapel. So for memorial services with a heavy elder load-in this may be a challenge; 3) there is no additional space for repast or informal celebration attached to the chapel so guests will have to travel for post activities. My wife and I worked with Milton Ridge representative Meaghan to make our wedding day perfect. The only issue was due to this being a July wedding, it was extremely hot. The chapel was air conditioned, but I think the amount of guests all in one room made the ceremony very hot. Also there was a problem with the air conditioning in the grooms suite, but since it was recently redeveloped I believe the issue will be fixed soon. The food we served at our reception was fantastic, even though the two of us didn't have much time to eat it since were busy mingling with guests. It has taken me six months to write this review because I wanted to make sure I shared our…read moreexperience thoughtfully rather than out of frustration. From the very beginning, our experience with this venue was disappointing. When we arrived for our scheduled tour, we waited approximately 20 minutes before anyone greeted us. Once someone finally came to meet us, she didn't know who we were or even the year of our wedding, despite us providing that information when scheduling the appointment. During the meeting, we explained our vision for our October 2025 wedding. We also shared that incorporating my Puerto Rican culture into our menu was extremely important to us. We were told that their caterers could "pretty much do anything" and that we would be able to customize the menu with Puerto Rican appetizers and entrées. We also informed them that we had hired our own wedding coordinator. We were assured that this would not be an issue because they regularly worked with outside vendors. The venue itself is beautiful, and that's ultimately what convinced us to book. Unfortunately, the problems started almost immediately after we paid our $1,000 deposit. When it came time to sign our contract, we were quoted a completely different price than the estimate we had received. We later learned that the consultant had mistakenly provided us with 2024 pricing instead of the 2025 pricing--even though we repeatedly stated throughout the meeting that our wedding was in October 2025. The written estimate included prices but did not indicate the year they applied to. When I brought this to the attention of the venue director, I was met with attitude rather than understanding. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, I was told I would have to pay the higher rate. It took my wedding planner stepping in and advocating on our behalf before the venue finally honored the original quoted pricing. Sadly, this set the tone for the rest of our planning experience. Throughout the year, communication was difficult. Questions often went unanswered for days, and when my coordinator reached out for information or clarification, she was frequently met with resistance rather than cooperation. One of our biggest disappointments involved the food. We specifically chose this venue because we were told the menu was highly customizable and that incorporating our culture would be easy. As planning continued, we learned that wasn't true. The only customization we were ultimately allowed was one appetizer. The flexibility that had been presented during the sales process simply wasn't available. We also encountered unnecessary difficulties because we chose not to use the venue's preferred vendors. While we had been told during the tour that outside vendors were welcomed, that did not reflect our experience during planning. On our wedding day, things did not improve. Our coordinator had to push just to gain access to the reception space so she could finish setting up in less than two hours. Throughout the day, no one from the venue checked on us, asked if we needed anything, or made us feel like valued clients. We felt like just another event rather than a couple celebrating one of the biggest days of our lives. Several of our guests were also denied drink service despite not being intoxicated, which created unnecessary confusion and frustration during the reception. At the very end of the night, the only interaction we had with venue staff was being handed a gift and told we were receiving a refund check. When I asked how much it was, I discovered the refund was for one dollar. After everything we had experienced over the previous year, that moment honestly felt insulting. The most disappointing part of this experience wasn't the pricing issue, the vendor restrictions, or even the communication problems. It was the overall feeling that our happiness as a couple simply wasn't a priority. We never felt supported, appreciated, or cared for throughout the planning process. It's unfortunate because the venue itself is beautiful. However, beautiful grounds cannot make up for poor communication, inconsistent information, and a lack of customer care. Six months later, I'm still disappointed by how we were treated. We were happy to invest thousands of dollars in our wedding here, but we never felt like we were treated with the respect and care that every couple deserves. I sincerely hope this feedback is taken seriously so future couples have a much better experience than we did.

My husband and I were married here on November 11th. Everything went perfectly. When we arrived the chapel was beautifully decorated and everything was set up and ready to go. Loveta was very well prepared for everything. Even if you aren't going to get married at the chapel, she would be the perfect officiant for any venue. Both my husband and I were very impressed with Loveta's service. Our family cannot stop talking about it. This is the perfect place for your intimate wedding. Loveta gets 10 stars all the way, however the photographer that was recommended was terrible. She was difficult to get a hold of, but it was a quick wedding, so no problem, that wasn't really a problem. We booked an hour and a half session. She kept asking us what we wanted to do, she's the photographer she should know. We paid for the hour and a half and she left after an hour. The few pictures she did take took forever to get back to us and when they did they looked like they were taken by a nice camera, but not done by a professional. Unfortunately I asked that no one else have their cameras out, so sorry I did, I may have gotten some nice photos if I hadn't. I didn't originally want to post this, but I have since talked to a friend that used the same photographer and she was extremely dissapointed. A second friend also had a disappointing experience with this photographer, so I felt I should warn the next couple. Go here and get married, you won't be sorry, but get your own photographer or you will likely be dissapointed. Siobhan O'Brien was the photographer.

One of the reasons we booked this venue is because it's literally a one stop shop. They do the catering, the cake, the tablecloths/place setting, bar, the set-up and clean-up! Of course we had a florist, dj, 360 Photo Booth and other crowd pleasers, but the bulk of the items that were required were provided by the venue. The Villa provides a day-of planner, which she was absolutely helpful and knowledgeable, but I wanted someone who knew me personally to advocate for me. I hired another coordinator to be my liaison for the day. I would suggest you do the same, if you're getting married. It's just good to have someone that knows you or will advocate for you when you need them. I had a few hiccups during my wedding day and expressed my concerns to management the day after. The professionalism and courtesy they provided us was extremely appreciative. From start to finish, my wedding coordinator explained everything, responded to all 5 million of my emails - in a very timely manner. Anything we were confused or didn't understand, was thoroughly explained. My original coordinator left her position, but Tracy stepped right in with both feet on the ground. If you're on the fence, give this venue a try. We had our wedding in the tent, which I believe is called the Renaissance Room. The location was perfect, the serving staff were awesome and we just had a knock down, drag out time! People are still talking about my perfect day!

A girl was just trying to get seconds! It was a tasting... can you blame me for trying???? Overall, my experience with Jeff has been amazing. Shonda is a doll and I can't wait for my event!
