I had recently had some work done and knew it most likely would fail. Not a big deal. Had to drive a certain number of miles. Great paid the fee and off I went. 3.5 weeks later went back. Their machine wasn't "working" but they didn't know when it would be fixed! So waited 2 more weeks went back still same story. Waited another 2 weeks same thing! I went the week after my 60 days to see what was happening same story. Being this vehicle needs to be 100% safe and on the road I had to go elsewhere. They didn't not offer a refund nothing! Stole my $35 which ended up costing me $70 because I had to pay again. I was informed they've been doing this to many others as well. Knowingly taking someone's money and not rendering a service is stealing. Honesty is of utmost importance and it's evident they do not work with these ethics. Shameful. To avoid being scammed I would not use this business. There should be a zero star option!

As of right now, this place has five stars and nine reviews, an extremely high score. That's the…read morereason I drove forty minutes out of my way to get my car fixed here. I'm about to put a ding in that score. I went here over my usual guy because I'm a layman and thought maybe brakes required a special skillset. I wanted to get it done right. I brought it in and was told the brake pads- or whatever- are worn down and are pretty much just metal on metal, in the front wheels. The rear brakes aren't great but I could put those off for now. I was told it would cost $550, and that that would mostly be in parts. I grimaced and took the hit. A week later, my brakes aren't working so well. Something about air in the line, everyone tells me, because the pedal depresses almost entirely to the floor before I get any braking traction. I call the shop and describe it. The guy tells me that doesn't sound like air in the line at all, it sounds like the... something, I forget, and it'll need replacing and lots of work. At this point I start to see what's going on here. I say "I'll think about it" and hang up. I brought the car to my usual guy. He says Arc Garage did a crap job and didn't reconnect the hoses correctly and sprayed (something) on the (something), which I was made to believe was a bad move. He asked what they charged and I told him, and he said "Oh, you got ripped off so bad. Oh wow. That was a $200 job." He then told me the fix he'd just done was $50 and to come and get it. I won't be making this mistake again. Also, what the hell Yelp, please don't lead me astray like that.

I first waited several minutes while the agent (not Jason, who is very professional), finished up with another customer, then spent some time shuffling papers. When I got the agent's attention, I started to describe my situation when the phone rang. "Let me take care of this." Ten minutes later I was still waiting. When he finally got off the phone, he asked me why I was there, all the while playing with the papers in front of him. My problem was with the air conditioner. "We don't do air conditioners anymore." I told him I wish he had told me that ten minutes earlier. "We didn't get that far." Why on earth not?? I would still go back because I believe they do good work at a fair price, but only if Jason is standing at the desk.

There was no sign on the door or at the counter about closing early or stopping inspections. I waited about 15 minutes before being told by the inspector that he wasn't doing any more inspections for the day because he was tired after being there since 8 a.m. He said he told the customer before me that he would be his last inspection -- but another customer wouldn't be responsible for telling me that, and he did not. If there's a cutoff time for inspections, it really needs to be clearly posted so people don't waste their time showing up well before closing and being turned away. Very poor customer service. I do wonder whether the owner or manager is aware of this decision to stop inspections early and the impact it has on customers.
