Levi is a great individual (brutally honest and very funny). He does not play around when it comes to inspections and he genuinely cares for the buyer. Had 2 inspections done in the past with a different company and completely hated it. Would definitely use this company again in a heartbeat (but hopefully not anytime soon since that would mean this current house fell through). Ask for Levi and don't look back! read more

4/20/21: I'm going to put this 1 star temporarily until it gets resolved. 6/9/21 Update: never got resolved. Had my inspection done and was excited to get the house. However, as we go through our renovation, there were lots of things that popped up that the inspector could've discovered but didn't, even without seeing what's going on underneath, case in point, the lack of grading away from the house where water could've easily sat on both sides and front of the house. Result, lots of rotted subfloor and foundation. Tiles above the subfloor seemed new but were lifted, which our contractor said could've easily been spotted by inspectors if they were experienced. Further, my sump pump was working fine since closing 3 months ago up until a few days ago. However, inorder for me to get the home warranty to take care of it, the inspection report of the home has to indicate that it was working prior. As I look at my inspection report to send in, it indicated that we didn't even have a sump pump. They had promised to send me a new report that shows possession of the pump but it's been a couple of months and still haven't heard from them despite messaging again. =( Levi sounds like a nice guy and the inspector as well...this has nothing to do with their character. However, their inspection on my home is quite unfortunate and I hope this review will help them sharpen up in their future services to ya'll. On the bright side, they are the cheapest around so if you need something cheap just to move forward with your escrow, you can go with them but make sure you do ALL the research to save yourself lots of money down the road. However, I'd recommend spending a couple of hundreds more just to save thousands (and more importantly, headache) down the road. Best of luck to them and everyone that goes with them. =) read more

So I'm updating my review to 1 star. In February we ran into an issue with the roof. We found out that the inspector actually didn't do a second inspection but still signed off on it. We've had 3 different opinions from certified roofers telling us that this roof should have NEVER passed escrow unless it was extensively repaired or replaced, which neither one was done. We placed our trust in this company to do a thorough inspection and now we have to suffer the fact that we have to replace our roof out of our own pocket. My advice is to not use this company because they are not trust worthy and are liars. read more

Dukes Home Inspectors - Home Inspectors Near Me

Greatest customer service I have ever received. I called Levi and a few other companies for quotes on a home inspection, at first I wasn't a fan of his price but he did explain every thing it entailed. I ended up going through him and I'm very happy I did. After his inspection which took about 1 1/2 hours, he throughly went one by one over everything I should be concerned about and even little things to look out for in the future. He even took the time and showed me where all my emergency shut of valves were and my GFCI units as well. He took just a little extra time out of his day to give me pointers that will last a life time. The best part of all, I had my report within an HOUR!!!!!!! Thank you Levi for being so awesome. read more

I would absolutely recommend. My husband and I are first time home buyers and were referred to Duke's through our agent. Miranda, our inspector, was thorough and was able to explain each point of inspection clearly and easily to us. The sellers even complimented her service! Happy parties on both sides. read more

If I could give this company 10 stars, I would. They are not only knowledgeable about all aspects of the home, but are just a group of kind hearted, wonderful people. My husband is a marine, and Duke's offers a free inspection to military personnel. This made the company very attractive obviously. However, the care that Levi (our inspector) put into this inspection, regardless of the free price tag, showed me how much pride he takes in his work. My son was with me, and Levi took extra care to explain how I can keep him safe in our home. Levi said his favorite part of this career is educating, and he does an outstanding job. He explained what needed to be taken care of now, and what could wait until we had some money saved. My real estate agent was present and said he will be recommending Duke's to his other clients. He told me he had never seen a better inspection. Another plus, I had our report in hand before Levi even left. The normal rate is lower than other inspectors in the area. You will not regret choosing Duke's. read more

Levi earned an excellent recommendation from every member of my family. He gave us a deep sense of comfort that my biggest purchase yet, would be inspected with integrity and utmost care. He responded to my call the same day. He arrived before me and I arrived early to our appointment. He educated my family through out the process and made us feel very empowered to proceed with better discretion. He emailed me a report at the end of the day of inspection. Five stars for Levi of Duke Home Inspectors, a rarity, a true professional. read more

Levi was great! He gave us the lowdown on our home and every single little thing that could be done to maintain it better. My boyfriend and I are buying our first home together, and we heard that Duke's gives FREE Military Vet home inspections (they are a military owned business). They were able to meet us at the house on a day that was convenient for my boyfriend, our realtor, and me. They were waiting for us when we got there and started right away. Miranda is awesome, she explained everything she was doing and answered any questions we had as we've never bought a house before! When they were finished, they walked us around the house to show us things they noticed and how to use certain things throughout the house. We actually learned a lot about our home and it made me really excited to move in. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone! read more

We needed a home inspection for the house we are purchasing, and we are SO happy we went with Duke's! Levi was awesome through the whole process, flexible with scheduling, and really meticulous and thorough in his inspection of our home. He took the time to go through every part of the house afterwards with us, shared all his observations and concerns, and answered all our questions. He gave us tips on caring for various parts of the home so it would last the years, and ideas for the things that would need replacing in the next few years. We had our report within the hour, and it was detailed and easy to understand. We would recommend Levi and Duke's Home Inspectors to anyone buying a home! read more

Dukes Home Inspectors are completely thorough and professional. Miranda reached out to me within hours of making my initial appointment request and I was lucky she had a cancellation for the day I needed. The team arrived on time, was professional and explained their entire process. There were several areas of concern that they pointed out to myself and my real estate agent. I haven't even gotten to the best part! They offer free home inspections to military personnel and free re-inspections to all! INCREDIBLE! If you are looking for a team to give you peace of mind prior to making one of the largest most important purchases of your life, feel confident that you can rely on Dukes Home Inspectors to have your back during the inspection phase. read more

Levi did an amazingly thorough job of inspecting my home and his reports were nothing but meticulous and explained everything in detail. Given that it was my first time as a home buyer, he was extremely knowledgeable and more than happy to answer the ridiculous amount of questions that I had and offered great advice on what to improve upon and how to really make the house solid. In addition, Levi was not only professional, he was extremely personable and made me feel at ease in going through with the final purchase.
