The esthetician I met with said the keratoses should be burned off instead of lasered. I was very fortunate because the PA, Drea, had a no show and was able to do my treatment. She was so sweet and explained everything very well. Price was very reasonable. Will definitely return for future treatments.

We were one minute past the 10 minute policy, we had hit a lot of traffic that morning. When we got there, they refused to see him because of the policy, even though I explained he wouldn't be back for a year and had a 6 AM flight the next morning. For one minute, one minute! They would not see him despite the circumstances. I also asked if they could just do the ice treatment like they did at the Cary office and they would not do it. This was such terrible customer service! As much as we spend for these services, and due to the extenuating circumstances, I would think you could make an exception for one minute. If I am going to get these services I want to go somewhere that shows care and concern for their customers. I will not be going back and do not recommend it at all.

The appointment was 3 months out which I felt was reasonable. I had not been to a dermatologist in years plus so I was a little anxious. Right off the bat team check in staff was very cordial professional putting me at ease immediately.Team assistant equally so - just a tremendous caring approach to continue the process preparing for the Doctor. She meticulously made sure my meds and allergies were up to date listened to my concerns.Dr. Kim came into the room- promptly- introduced herself & listened to my concerns addressed them laid out a plan. She acknowledged my thoroughness in what I had done to address my issues. I like that she made me a part of the plan that was concise - gave me a lot of useful information. I was quite impressed.Team check out staff was equally impressive. I could not have asked for a better experience in this realm. A complimentary spacious parking lot with several accessible parking spaces - this location is located near the old South Square mall -quite close to a major interstate & other major routes. Very close to numerous shopping experiences accommodations - restaurants & more!

Very satisfied with the thoroughness of this office and speed with which they took care of me while also listening to concerns. Could not recommend enough based on this first time patient experience. The office was clean, with free wifi. As I left however, I noticed that the parking lot and waiting room were filling quickly so not sure how the experience would go later on in the day, but they were very willing to accommodate an early appointment due to work conflicts.

My mother went in last November for an annual check up. She waited an hour and a half and Dr…read moreJackson rushes in and tries to upsell her on some wrinkle machine. My mother declines and just wants her exam. She leaves and a nurse comes in with a clipboard and gives her a form to initial. Luckily my mom reads it because it is a form signing her up for a package for the wrinkle machine! At this point I think they were trying to prey on her because of her age. She declines AGAIN, and then the nurse comes back and says they will be unable to see her that day. After she waited almost two hours and never even got undressed. She clarified that she would not be charged since they didn't see her, but she is now getting a bill where they CHARGED Medicare for an appointment (which is fraud) and are trying to make her pay the remainder. We will be reporting this fraud to Medicare and I hope they audit them to kingdom come. Absolutely shameful that they only had an interest in trying to charge some aesthetics service, tried to sneakily make her sign up for it after she declined by handing her paperwork they hoped she would initial without reading, and then sent her home without seeing her after almost TWO HOURS because it didn't seem worth their time. Disgusting!

I've been to Dr. Jackson's office a few times for the same standard wart treatment on my foot. I…read morereally like her as a person and as a doctor, however I have some serious issues with the billing department. I tried to get past it, but after multiple problems I just can't go to this office anymore. Every time I go to the office, there is a $55 co-pay for my insurance. Even though the foot treatment I received is very basic and is typically covered at other offices, I was shocked that I was billed an extra $180 after the appointment (which the front desk rep failed to mention to me on my way out, of course). I pulled up the client website portal, reviewed my previous charges and transactions, and found that my balance should actually be $0. I called the billing department, and a very nice man walked through the line items with me and found that I was right, and that I did NOT owe any money. Wow. The second time was different. I was surprised when, once again, I got an email and phone call saying I owe over $100 (which the front desk failed to mention to me in the office, of course). I called the front desk AND my insurance to figure out why my appointment cost so much after the co-pay. Insurance explained to me that the bill showed two separate "surgeries", one of which was not covered. I did not have two surgeries. I didn't even have ONE surgery, so I'm not sure why the billing is written that way. I tried to appeal the charge, but I got nowhere. I feel like this office is doing everything they can to overcharge their clients, and patients should not feel that way. Even when I stopped in for a 5-minute checkup (no treatment received, just "keep doing what you're doing") I was still overcharged. I like Dr. Jackson, but I won't be going to Skin Wellness anymore.

Dr scales was able to diagnose and recommend a treatment regimen for me quickly. The type of care I've received at his office is second to none. His experience in the different types of alopecia made a world of difference in how I look since my first office visit in March of 2025. He and his team have helped me gain my confidence back. I agreed to a biopsy to remove it. He and his nurse went out and came back in with a tray and some forms. I signed them and tried to ask a few questions but was rushed into the procedure. The nurse held pressure and then had to hold more pressure. After the procedure the nurse put a bandaid on it and handed me a bag. I couldn't see my face and I was still feeling something thick sitting near my eyes. I panicked because I am on medication that can causes bleeding. I asked her to see a mirror because there wasn't one in the room and she told me she didn't have one. He passed by the door and I called to him and said something to him about the bleeding. I thought my face was still bleeding because of the feel of what was on my face and the fact that she was holding pressure for so long. He said something to her and she said it's still bleeding because she is messing with it. I asked him could i see it he told the nurse to give me a mirror and she got one out of a drawer. I asked him what would happen to the extra skin? Would they just leave it and will to graw up? He said oh do you want me to take the skin off i was like i guess. And he told me to hsve a seat and he cut the spot and burned it with a machine. That is common but he didnt explain things enough for me. I guess for some people they like the fast paced environment may be ok but for me its not. He gave me a prescription for a spot on my leg and i wasn't told any differently so when i got the medication i took it home and put it on my face. He had explained that i would have the bump removed and i would wipe the ointment on it. He didnt tell me he was going to give me some medication for my leg. I was very confused. Mixed up. I had to make an appointment with another Dr. At Blue Ridge Der with a PA named Paige i believe and she explained everything. She said she usually takes a needle and extracts the fluid so we don't have to go thru this kind of thing. I am not going back.
