Rip off! I paid almost $10,000 for my son's nose job, strictly for cosmetic beautification. Afterwards it looked EXCATELY the same as it did prior to the alleged surgery. No explanation given and refused a refund. WASTE of time and money, BAD Business Practices. read more

Finn Plastic Surgery - I'm very happy with my eye . Thank you Dr Finn - Cosmetic Surgeons Near Me - Chapel Hill, North Carolina

Had rhinoplasty in 2019. The consultation went great. The staff was great. No complaints there at all. Results were not anything like I expected and 2 things were missed completely! I asked for the tip to not look as bulbous and to be moved in closer to my face and now it sticks out farther than before. I addressed my concerns with Dr. Finn, mentioned he forgot to smooth the side lumps on my bridge and flatten the bulge of cartilage on the right side of the tip and the shift in his attitude was disheartening. I then got told I was "chasing perfection"! He agreed to fix the bridge, but wanted to actually widen the tip. Absolutely not! I did/do have a big nose so widening the tip that was already too wide was not an option, especially if the bridge would have been smaller! Anyways, it's been six years and my nose looks even worse now. Nostrils flare more when I smile, a piece of cartilage is prolapsing into my left nostril, it's more crooked and droopy. I did have a complex case so I feel like if you have a simple fix or two, then he would do a good job. I just really didn't appreciate the attitude I got when discussing a revision and I feel like for 8K it should have looked much better!!! read more

https://youtu.be/weLNbVRAoMQ Sadly I had an unsatisfactory outcome in my septorhinoplasty with Dr. Finn and I would not recommend for someone to go here for rhinoplasty. If anyone would like to ask me any questions in regards to my experience I would be glad to share so that it may help others. I would hate for someone to have to go through what I did because the cost for revision is way too much and once you are left with bad results it can really effect you in a lot of ways. For the price I payed and everything I really do not understand why I ended up with the results I did. I am now left with an unsatisfactory outcome cosmetically and in functionality and the cost of revision is way too much. It will be 2 years since my surgery in 2 months so it's disappointing that the whole time I knew the way it looked was not right but I waited thinking it was the swelling which it was not. There was major swelling and swelling does go down with time but as far as the way it looked I knew from the day the cast was off that my left side of my nose was different than before. My nose droops and has a Polly beak look. I have a pointy piece sticking out my tip from my left side, the cartilage he flipped now protrudes outward and has given my left side a bulbous crooked look, I have a sunken in part on my left side, my septum from the inside that he overlapped is touching my left side of my nose and is crooked, my nose has taken another shape in crookedness in regards to the septum because of how my septum overlaps leans to the left, and my breathing has become worse than before due to how the graft makes my right side to the top more closed and how my septum touches my left side and how I have a sunken in part on my left side of my nose that was not properly supported, my left side of my osteotomy was not closed in which makes my nose more pushed to the left than what it was before(this was shown on the cat scan), on the cat scan it also showed how closed and crooked my nose was. I went to see 2 other ent plastic surgeon doctors and they both agreed that my results would need a highly experienced revision rhinoplasty expert surgeon because of how much issues I had going on. This has effected me greatly and I also experienced epistaxis and had to get my veins in my nose cauterized due to nose bleeds that caused me 2 trips to the ER and it was horrific the amount of blood I loss and the experience of blood coming out your eyes and have the feeling of clogged ears and choking on blood. After all of this I am left at a lost on top of having bad results so this saddens me deeply. I hope this helps anyone. read more

He really screwed me over. He seemed trustworthy at first but then didn't do what he was spoused to do during surgery.

Instant results from under-eye Restylane filler! Dr. Finn discussed everything in detail before the procedure. As promised, it took only a few minutes for both areas under my eyes. I didn't require any pre-procedure numbing gel and it did not hurt at all. I was truly amazed at the results! Best gift I have given myself in months. read more

I have been a patient of Finn Plastic Surgery for 7 years and always leave happy. The staff is warm, welcoming and knowledgeable.

Dr. Finn is an honest and sincere surgeon. He was thoughtful and took significant time with me in the consultation. He did not attempt to persuade me into any procedure. In fact, not only did he educate me with diagrams, but discussed many options. Dr. Finn will always have my upmost respect. read more

I have seen Dr. Finn over the course of nine years. His interpersonal skills as well as techniques have improved over the course of time. He: * Is easy to talk to and caring, and gets to know his patients, even if it takes more time and effort. * Minimizes the wait time in his office. * Takes great pride in his work, giving best effort. Plastic surgery- is both an art and science- he has talents in both. * Measures the cost and outcomes of the prospective techniques, and offers solutions that provide longer lasting results. * Keeps up with the latest technology and trends in plastic surgery, but implements solutions he feels are effective, tried, and proven. I would recommend him, particularly now that he takes more time to listen. He has done an amazing job with filler providing shape to my face removing the tired look that inevitably comes with age. read more

I will be forever grateful for Dr. Finn and his incredible staff. I received a biopsy report from my dermatologist indicating a basal cell carcinoma on my upper lip area. In a panic, I called Dr. Finn's office to get their recommendations for where I should go to have the Mohs Surgery removal and then to arrange for Dr. Finn to do the closure. I got the report on Monday morning and through his staff and the staff at Cary Skin Care Center, I was able to get both the Mohs Surgery and the reconstruction with Dr. Finn scheduled for the next day! I would not trust anyone else to ever work on my face except for Dr. Finn. I'm scheduled for a facelift this summer. His work is impeccable. His care and compassion unsurpassed. Thank you, Dr. Finn for all that you do! read more

Dr. Finn is not only an extremely talented surgeon, but he is also very kind, caring, and compassionate. I first found him over ten years ago after a botched rhinoplasty by another surgeon and have been going to him for all my facial cosmetic needs ever since. He performed a revision rhinoplasty on me, successfully fixing a notch in my nostril left by another surgeon who removed to much cartilage. During the same surgery, he also successfully corrected a sizeable whole in my septum using a tissue graft from my scalp. Over the years, I have also seen Dr. Finn for numerous filler and Botox injections. Most recently, Dr. Finn removed a growth on the side of my face caused by pregnancy hormones and also removed a mole on the side of my husband's nose. Neither of us were left with a scar. Through all of the years I've known him, Dr. Finn has also shown extreme kindness and compassion, always lending an ear when I needed it most. I truly can't say enough about this doctor. I wouldn't trust my face to anyone else. read more

I was recently diagnosed with a staged malignant melanoma of the face which required a very large excision followed by reconstruction of my entire left cheek. I was recommended to Dr. John Charles Finn for my facial repair. His exceptional medical knowledge in combination with his kindhearted bedside manner created an atmosphere of comfort and calmness as I faced this extremely difficult moment in my life. Dr. Finn's surgical technique and unique skills are remarkable and his talent for repairing such a large wound far surpasses any surgeon I have met in my 30+ years as a registered professional nurse. Over 40 sutures along with total reconstruction of my left cheek were needed to completely close the wound. The results have been amazing just three months post surgery. He truly is a surgical sculptor who strategically re-created the left side of my face. I have regained self confidence and self worth as a result of Dr. Finn's extraordinary surgical talent. Thank you Dr. Finn. read more
