I was botched and it is heart wrenching. I went back for a correction and it looks just as terrible and now I have pain forever where pleasure used to be. I asked specifically for one thing to be fixed and it was made worse. I could pay more to have the other surgeon fix them but the plan to fix doesn't sound like it will be sufficient and will still cost thousands more. I want to believe that it would work but it doesn't sound right. I will have to go somewhere else to see what the plan will be. If I'm already going to have to pay thousands more, I should probably go elsewhere. Thousands of dollars to be botched and in pain for the rest of my life. read more

I had my first breast augmentation by Dr. Stoeckle in December 2017. He completely transformed the way my breast looked, I had to have reconstructive surgery along with a breast augmentation due to having tubular breast which is a very rare deformity. Surgeons do not come across my situation to often in their career and that's coming from Dr.Stoeckle. After my first breast augmentation we discussed size, I went from an A cup to a C cup. Due to him having to COMPLETELY change the shape of my breast to get me looking "normal",round, and perky a C cup (375cc saline implant) was the max my body could physically hold. During one of my later check ups I expressed to him how I wanted to be bigger and fuller. He then explained to me how tricky I was and the process it even took for me to look as great as I did. He and I both agreed since my skin has had a good amount of time to stretch he could definitely get me to the 600-650cc range. With out hesitation he wanted me to be happy with my results. I didn't want to go anywhere else, I know Dr.Stoeckle would get me to where I wanted to be safely and properly, my body just took time due to my original breast deformity which I kid you not nobody could ever tell I had tubular breast to begin with because he did such an amazing job the first time changing my shape. Janell and Dr.Stoeckle wanted to get me into surgery as soon as they could. I had my second breast augmentation June 28th, 2018 this past Thursday and WOW. That man is such a talented surgeon. He was able to fit 600cc silicone implants. Not only was he able to give me the size I wanted, he loosened some tissue so I would have more cleavage and brought my breast crease up just a few millimeters. On a scale of 1-10 my pain is a .5!!! I am beyond impressed. I'm flat out in love with my breast already, and it's only been 2 days, I can tell from my first augmentation they are going to be dropping so beautifully and be so full! I apologize for the rambling, I am just in awe with how little pain I have and how amazing my breast look! Dr.Stoeckle calls you from his personal cell phone just to chat with you to make sure you're okay! Vacation or no vacation he will call or text you back as soon as he can. I recently went into Wake Plastic Surgery (WPS) for a consultation for breast reduction surgery, with the intent to apply for coverage from my insurance company. I had already researched the procedure & the requirements for my insurance & compiled a small amount of documentation proving that I met all of their criteria for coverage, though I was aware approval for this surgery is often denied & I may need to gather more documentation if it was denied. When I went in for my consultation on 3/7 I made it clear that I was hoping to have this surgery as soon as possible & ideally be mostly recovered before summer. Therefore, time was of the essence. Dr. Stoeckel himself was polite & thorough with the consultation, & took his time explaining everything to me &answering all of my questions. I liked what he had to say & decided to move forward. Immediately after handing my documentation to the insurance coordinator I was given negativity. I was asked with an attitude if she should expect more documentation (at this point she had not even read anything I handed her), to which I said no, I would like to apply with this as it shows that I meet all requirements per the insurance guidelines. She then told me that she would submit it the next day, or even that afternoon if she had time. I agreed, checked out, & left. Over the next week I called my insurance company almost daily to check on the approval request & was consistently being told that they had not had a request sent in. By Thursday of the following week, over a week after I was seen & told it would be submitted, my insurance still had not received anything from WPS. I immediately contacted the office to ask why it had not been sent in & was told that the insurance coordinator was out of the office for the rest of the week & she would call me when she returned. Finally on 3/20, nearly 2 full weeks after my consultation, I received a call back telling me that she would submit my application for approval that afternoon or the next day. 3/21 I received a confirmation call that it had been submitted, 13 days after I was originally told it was going to be submitted. I began the waiting game again, waiting for a determination from my insurance. Another full week passed & on 3/29 I finally got a voicemail from her saying it had been denied. As it was after 5pm when she called, I could not call back and discuss the determination. On Monday 4/2 I gathered the more specific documentation the insurance company wanted, &called her back on 4/3 to tell her I would be sending it to her. She asked for details and when I told her what I would be sending, she stated point blank "It's still going to be denied, do you even want me to send that in?". There was no offer of assistance, no positivity such as "Oh that documentation will really help, but X-Y-Z notes would be even better." Only immediate negativity. At this point I had been dealing with her chaos, lack of professionalism, & delayed actions for a month & was tired of wasting my time on someone who clearly was not going to help me in any way get approved, but instead just continued to shoot down all efforts I made. I contacted another office that I had reached out to when deciding who to schedule a consultation with. I spoke to them on 4/3, had my consultation on 4/9, & received my approval from my insurance for surgery on 4/10. This to me only proves that the insurance coordinator at WPS is failing to do her job and truly help patients get their approval. I gave them the exact same documentation and information I was planning to send to her, that she claimed was not good enough. In less than a week, the other practice was able to do what WPS had failed to do in over a month of time. Please, if you were denied insurance coverage for a reduction through WPS, do not give up. Please go see another surgeon with a more knowledgable and helpful staff. While I had no complaint about my consultation with Dr Stoeckel, because of his insurance coordinator he lost a potential patient, delayed my surgery for over a month, and I lost money that I feel should be refunded. I should not have had to pay for a second consultation. Had she done her job, I would have been having surgery with WPS & that money would have applied to my surgery there. After trying to reach out about my concerns & the terrible experience, I found there is no direct contact method for the doctor. No way to email, call, or leave a voicemail for him. When he did call back & I explained the service I was displeased with, I was refused a refund & asked where I transferred to, then told that "There may be some surgeons in the area as good as me, but I've had people come in unhappy with their results." He tried to make me second guess my decision & then he put down other area surgeons. Appalling!! After this experience, I would absolutely not recommend this office to anyone. read more

So as a Male I never thought about any plastic surgery but I had cyst in the bottom of my chin that seemed to flare up more and more often. So I decided to look into having it removed. Since I was a teenager I dreamed of getting a breast reduction. I was in pain constantly, struggled to find clothing that fit, and just felt out of proportion. The reduction technique that he mostly uses only leaves a lollipop shaped scar instead of an anchor and helps give a lift that other techniques don't, which is beyond wonderful. At first my reduction was declined by my health insurance, so Janell worked to contact BCBS and set up an appointment with them to talk to the doctor to push for approval. It worked! They look better than I thought was possible considering what I started with. I'm giving 2 stars based strictly on the cancellation policy and customer service of the practice manager, Lisa. I booked an appointment for a consult on a Monday at 1:45. I had something come up on Sunday that I could not change. I called Sunday and left a message to let them know I had to cancel and that I would call again Monday morning to reiterate the fact that I needed to cancel my appointment. I got a call saying I would be charged for the cancellation, $50. I called and spoke to the front desk who transferred me to Lisa. I told her I completely understand why they have a cancellation policy. My work place, has the exact same policy. However I did not understand that if you have a Monday appointment you need to call by noon on Friday. This policy I'm assuming makes many clients upset as you cannot always know Friday morning if you have to cancel a Monday afternoon appointment, life happens. Lisa just kept saying that it was in the email they sent. I did go back and yes it is in the email. However, I feel like when I was on the phone booking the appointment it should have been stated verbally that I would need to call by Friday morning if I would like to cancel,because again.. life happens. Lisa was very condescending and just repeatedly cutting me off to explain again why they have that policy as if I were a child. She never even bothered to understand why I needed to cancel. Again, we have this same policy at my workplace but we are very understanding and not condescending. I'm sure the doctors do wonderful work but they have my $50, not my business. read more

I went in for a consultation and instantly I felt very comfortable with Dr. Stoeckel. He explained the procedure in detail. He did not sound scripted like the previous doctor I visited. That morning I was anxious but as soon as I met the surgical staff I felt at ease and was ver calm. I can't remember much when I woke up in recovery but my husband told me I was all smiles all the home. I was expecting to be in pain and miserable but to my surprise I was good. I was in some pain at times but not to bad. I wasn't miserable at all. The experience was great. It helped that everything Dr. Stoeckel explained, what to except after surgery was on point. I went to Dr. Stoeckel because I had breast augmentation 17 years prior from another surgeon, and I wanted my implants removed. The implants I had received 17 years ago were oversized, leaking and sagging. When I met with Dr. Stoeckel he was extremely thorough in explaining my options to me and answering any and all questions I had. He never made me feel like I had to have any specific procedure or pressured me like a sales person, like the couple previous places I had gone for consultation. I was confident in what I wanted done before I saw him, and after consulting with him, I was definite. He was conservative in not only his approach about my situation, but also in his statements regarding what I could expect my body to look like after surgery. My surgery results exceeded my expectations! Even after my procedure, Dr. Stoeckel was sure to personally see that I was mending well and didn't have any problems. I visited Patty, their medical esthetician, for laser hair removal and I have been really thrilled with the results. I was walked through the entire process before starting the procedure. Patty also explained the hair growth cycle, so that I could medically understand why it was important not to tweeze between appointments. She had a lot of helpful tips and tricks to help with the process in between appointments (I had to go every month and during appointments I could shave, but not wax). The laser pain is very manageable (compared to a small pinch) and it goes away within two seconds. I really started to see results by the third treatment. I have one treatment left and I think the hairs will be completely gone after that treatment. Patty is really great about reminding me at each appointment what I canNOT do in between treatments. I had always wanted to explore laser hair removal, but wasn't sure about the price or process and I am SO glad I went to Wake Plastic Surgery. I felt a lot more comfortable having this done in a real doctor's office as opposed to a "spa" setting. And I was pleasantly surprised that the price was reasonable.
