Dr. Law may be the best plastic surgeon in the world! My husband is a physician and even he could not believe all of his training and credentials! I go to Blue Water Spa, the medical spa he owns. I wanted to stay ahead of aging issues, so I got a consultation for a facelift. This man took so much time with me, answered all of my questions and he actually told me that I really didn't need a facelift! He asked about all of my concerns and I pointed out all the things that bothered me. Based on my concerns, and his evaluation, I ended up getting liposuction of the chin and an upper blephoplasty which is just a little skin from the upper eyelid removed. The change is weirdly both subtle and dramatic. My eyes are opened up more, and my jawline is perfection. My recovery was not painful at all and I could not believe how fast I was back to my normal routine. There are no visible scars as he made incisions in the regular creases. My eyes were puffy and red for about four or five days. I never even had bruises. I just wore large sunglasses for a week. People asked me about makeup or skin care. I just look better but I don't look like I've had surgery. I am so happy with my results. Dr. Law performed a tummy tuck for me about 8 years ago. He made two incisions under my breast and another at my bikini line. This was to be able to pull the skin in both directions to avoid having to move my belly button and then have a fourth vertical incision. The surgery was not a success. I was left with an apron of skin along my bikini line. By breast were pulled down by the incisions underneath them that I then had stretch marks on my chest between my breasts. It also pulled my beasts down so that my nipples point down instead of forward. When I went back for my check up he tried to pass off the apron of skin as something that would resolve by itself but I refused to accept that. He made me feel like I was being ridiculous and picky for not being satisfied. He agreed to revise the tummy tuck by making a much wider incision and pulling down the loose skin hit by doing that he ended up having to move my belly button. He said he could fix my breasts but I would have to pay for a breast lift. At the end I am left with drooping breasts, incisions underneath them, a vertical incision on my stomach ( no bikinis for me), and having to pay another $1,400 to cover his cost for anesthesia for the second surgery. He couldn't care less. He just wanted me gone and for me to stop complaining. Next month I am having my breast lifted and a new tummy tuck to fix all this mess. Buyer beware. read more

I'm sure Michael Law is a wonderful surgeon. This review is not about surgical skills but rather to provide information to others seeking services at his office. While this is not mentioned on their website, I was informed that they do not offer breast augmentation for transgender women. Specifically I was told that his "expertise is in other areas." This was painful to hear after spending months researching different surgeons in the area, getting my hopes up for seeing him, and working up the courage to call after being very impressed by his website and the before and after gallery. I do hope some day he seeks to add this very valuable procedure to his skill set. And I'm sure, if his gallery is to be any measure, that he would be excellent at it. So, I will give his office a 3 star review. The front desk staff was really warm and inviting. I had my surgery with Dr. Law and am so glad I did. His staff is extremely friendly and he is beyond professional and just so brilliant at what he does! I did a lot of research before we decided to set up my surgery with Dr.Law. It's my body and I was not going to trust it to just anyone and also I was a bit scared of surgery. I had wanted a breast lift for 7 years! I will tell you that the office is beyond beautiful. I've had minor little procedures done in my life and all I remember about anesthesia were these little offices and laying back waiting for anesthesia and seeing vents above my head with dirt on them. So fast forward to my surgery with Dr Law and it's literally the opposite of everything I've ever experienced. Spa music, warming device I can control, a nurse just for me , pristine room. Also an anesthesiologist just for me during my whole surgery. This was a big deal for me and my husband. Dr Law has on staff MD anesthesiologists. So basically while Dr Law is performing surgery he also has another physician next to me the WHOLE time. His only job is to watch me and give anesthesia. My experience with Dr. Law and all the people in his office was superb. I never imagined writing a review about something so personal, but a lot of people don't discuss plastic surgery. I did a lot of research and asked people I knew in the medical professional about choosing a plastic surgeon. This helped me select Dr. Law as one of the plastic surgeons I would see in consultation. His before and after photos were great, but what most impressed me was that he really listened to me and I felt like he provided a surgery plan based on my goals and my own face. I didn't feel like a number. Initially, I was surprised, and kind of put-off by the fact that his office doesn't offer financing. But they explained the down side of financing in a way that made sense. Scheduling surgery was easy. He is clearly type A+ and has a very well thought out schedule that takes into consideration post operative visits, etc. His office is beautiful and the surgery area is so nice. My husband was with me during the consultation and Dr. Law carefully explained his plan to both of us during the consultation and again and the pre-operative appointment. Two days before surgery we received a call from his nurse and she once again confirmed where to be, what to do to prepare and asked if we had any last minute questions. My sister accompanied me to surgery. Everyone there made me feel so comfortable and taken care of. They were great with my sister too. The results of my facial surgery, a neck lift and eye rejuvenation was beyond my expectations. I had virtually no pain. The first couple of nights my eyes were a bit puffy so I had an ointment to keep my eyes from being dry. My neck looked great immediately and my eyes were beautiful less than a week after my surgery. I did have a V laser for the incision under my chin to help with healing. I wasn't concerned with the scar, but if it's free, I'm going to take advantage of it. I am so happy to have found Dr. Law. As a registered nurse it was really important for me to find someone with extensive experience, good credentials, and an accredited surgical facility. I also wanted to look as natural as possible and after studying before and after photos I had no doubt that Dr. Law was the best choice. I could not be happier with the care I have received. During my consultation, Dr. Law really took his time to listen to what I wanted, explain everything in detail, and answered any and all questions that I had. I didn't feel rushed and I felt listened to (which honestly is a rare thing these days when it seems the medical system as a whole is more about quantity over quality). Once I decided to go forward with my surgery I again had a chance to ask questions and was also provided with a binder specific to my surgery that contained information I could review at home (there are always questions you forget to ask when in the office so this was very helpful). I had breast implant surgery with Dr. Law 3 months ago and I am thrilled with the results! He did a phenomenal job, as they look enhanced and yet completely natural. The incisions under my breast folds are non-existent. Dr. Law's expertise and training exceeds those of other surgeons in the area. I am a Registered Nurse and would not recommend going elsewhere. I have an extremely low pain tolerance. I took two doses of medication right after the procedure and that was all I needed. The other issue I've always had is with nausea and vomiting after anesthesia. I had Zero post-op nausea or vomiting! Dr. Law and Tracy are always accessible to answer any questions. The entire staff is friendly and professional. The waiting area feels comfortable and more private. I am a 42 yo physician. For many years now I've been unhappy with how tired I appeared .. I had been reluctant to do anything- I did not want to look "done" I was not interested in temporary measures, such as fillers. It scared me to have a procedure, that would have to be performed year after year -each time with a chance of something going wrong. I researched fat grafting and I know there are various opinions about it. However, after watching Dr. Laws videos, and seeing the before and after pictures I felt excited. I underwent fat transfer or fat rejuvenation to my face as well as canthoplasty. Dr. law is an artist! The surgery was performed in August. Postop recovery I had minimal discomfort, I required no narcotics. I returned to work a week after. I had minor swelling and some bruising. This was easily covered with glasses. However, I did have the strange sensation of wearing goggles. This sensation persisted for many months and progressively improved. read more

Just wanted to give an honest review of Dr. Michael Law. I had a horrible experience with a procedure performed by Dr. Law back in 2009. I have posted my review here in the past, but decided to remove it due to my own privacy. Now, I feel that I should speak out, so others may be more cautious during the initial process of the consultation. Make certain to get all of the fine details addressed, as to markings of the areas, and any other concerns or questions as well as having a witness with you at the time. Unfortunately Dr. Law decided to wait until he had given me the sedation (demerol) before we spoke about the donor areas (liposuction)_ for a fat grafting procedure. This is a huge concern, as it can leave you with a terrible abnormality especially when he decided to remove the donor fat from only one side leaving an unbalanced look aside from the large indentation from an area which should not have even been considered. You definitely don't need to create a negative when you are trying to improve upon something you're unsatisfied with. When I went back in for my follow up, and confronted Dr. Law with this, he was very unconcerned and tried to make light of it, and deny that it was marked or performed without my approval, when all the while he had just given me a very powerful sedative (demerol), and expected me to be able to be coherent in my opinion at that time. This was extremely unprofessional, and unacceptable, so I want to rewrite my review here as Dr. Law handled my outcome very insensitively as the final result left me very upset, and he didn't offer anything to help remedy this. The entire procedure was a waste of my time and money as the fat which was suppose to be a permanent volume enhancing procedure, none of it lasted more than a few months. I was left with an abnormal indentation which later I had to spend more money and time enduring another procedure with another doctor farther away to improve. From my entire experience, and Dr. Law's disregard and insensitivity for how this left me with a large sunken area, and from the fact that he removed fat from an area which should have never been an option as there was nothing natural or symmerty about it. It was such a large area and so deep that it gave the appearance of a deformity because it created an asymmetrical uneven look. I would never recommend Dr. Michael Law to anyone. Experiences such as this can alter ones self esteem, and create havoc in your daily focus in life while trying to continue with your normal routine. Please beware. read more

2 weeks post op, and I can say with the utmost certainty that I made the best decision of my life! After having my son, I went from a full B to triple D. I toyed with a breast reduction, but was nervous of the unknowns, not only with the procedure, but also the surgeon and surgical staff. I was referred to Dr. Michael Law and the Blue Water Spa from a friend of a friend. I researched, and then made a consultation. Immediately I felt comfort in my decision. The staff was uber professional, informative, nurturing. Dr. Law made me feel comfortable upon meeting and secure in the decisions and questions I was asking. He was extremely thorough and detailed on his plan for a successful surgery and outcome to meet my expectations. Day of surgery, a little nervous but still confident in my decision - anxious and excited. I was brought in, immediately had the staff around me getting ready for surgery, but attentive, going over what would be happening and making sure if I had any questions, to ask. The entire surgical staff introduced themselves and their roles. Also met with Dr. Law to do final drawings and ask any questions before we began. Felt a peace, at ease - almost tranquil. When I woke from surgery, I felt comfortable. no pain, little pressure. Happy, excited and could carry on a good conversation (I'm sure I was loopy, but didn't feel lethargic or doped up). Dr. Law came to check on me, and gave me the okay to go home. the following day pain was minimal, needed no narcotics and I do not have a high threshold for pain. Tylenol for a couple days after the procedure. Dr. Laws surgical standards and processes make it a very comfortable, manageable healing process. I couldn't be happier with the overall experience, from the amazing officer personal, nursing and surgical staff and I will forever be a huge advocate and fan of Michael Law, MD.
