After a consultation with the assistant and agreeing upon 2000 grafts, I scheduled my surgery date. Dr. Phipps canceled on me and rescheduled three times...the first of many red flags. One time they completely forgot to inform me and I called the day before only to find out they had moved it. Unprofessional, but fine, whatever. The day comes, they offer 100 grafts for free for all the scheduling issues, the procedure happens and I go home. I take all my own before and after pictures to document the process. Both by manual counting and software assisted image analysis, I estimate that I actually received roughly 1800 grafts instead of the 2100 I paid for. Also, my hairline is completely crooked and it's embarrassing to style my hair up, so to this day I still wear it down to cover it. They advise you schedule a follow up appointment 6-12 months after the procedure. They claim this is to make sure all of the grafts are growing well (the "Bosley Guarantee"), but in reality it was 100% about trying to convince me to spend more money on another procedure. When I ask how they (quantitatively) measure how well the grafts have grown, Dr. Phipps literally handed me a mirror and showed me a before picture and said "see the difference?!" I point out I believe I received 300 fewer grafts than I paid for, only to find out they keep absolutely no documentation of the procedure. You simply have to take their word. I also point out just how crooked the hairline is. Dr. Phipps has such a toxic personality, she is literally incapable of comprehending that she might have done something wrong. She can only believe anything she does is pure magic. After some back and forth, she simply tries to convince me that "nobody's going to notice". Really, I implore you, go literally anywhere else. Ask questions, make sure there's documentation, make sure they describe in detail how they are going to take care of you after the procedure. Unfortunately, a good chunk of my bank account went to a scam artist that does work akin to a first year medical student, not board certified doctor.

After a week with no update, I followed up via text message--no response. I waited another week and sent a second text--still no response. On 4/21/25, I then left a voicemail on the office line, and again, I received no return call. At this point, I am extremely frustrated with the lack of communication and customer service. It has been over a month since I've received any injections, yet the company is still holding onto my money with no resolution in sight.
