Asian coffee
Allie B.

Dufners is a hidden gem! The donuts are some of the best ive ever had. So light and fluffy. I came here specifically for their Asian coffee because it's some of the best vietnamese coffee I've ever had. I tried their breakfast burrito today and I will definitely be getting it again. The service was fast and extremely hospitable. The prices are very reasonable as well. If you havent tried Dufners yet you are missing out !

Dufner's is a great local gem in Plymouth! They have amazing breakfast sandwiches and even better donuts! The donuts are big and fresh. Their chocolate frosting is delicious. There is plenty of seating inside, the customer service is great!

I love when a local business is so good that I am excited to come back. Great customer service, great donuts, great breakfast burrito and croissant sandwich! We also very much enjoyed our Vietnamese coffee and White Mocha.

Wanted some donuts this morning and the ones close to me are good but not quite what I'm looking for. I came across Dufner's and decided to give them a try. I was greeted immediately by friendly staff and ordered a glazed donut and a sausage & bacon breakfast sandwich on a croissant. The dining area was nice and spacious and the prices are very reasonable. The donut might've been the best I've had in Minnesota and the breakfast sandwich was great as well. I'll definitely be coming back here when I need my donut fix!

Stopped by today to grab some donuts. It was very quiet and this location can easily be missed since it's in a strip mall that seems to be very empty. I arrived around 7:45 am and found the selection of donuts to be okay. One nice feature is that you can choose the filling for your donuts : strawberry , mango or Bavarian . That was really cool, you choose a donut from the display then they will pump it with filling. They have a nice selection of deli food. For breakfast I grabbed an avocado toast . I got a lot more than I anticipated and it tasted good. I would love to come back again and try other items on their menu.

I just happen to Uber a friend past this place, so I decided to try it. I saw the big doughnut sign outside. I purchased a claw with apple filling. Actually two of them with a coffee. I enjoyed them waiting for my friend on the patio. Fresh and delicious breakfast treat.

In my opinion, one of the better donut shops in the Twin Cities. None of the frills and overselling. Just a simple donut shop that lets their donuts speak for themselves. Reminds me of hole in the wall donut shops back in the south. Donuts were great, the breakfast burrito and sandwich was a little on the smaller side, but at an affordable price. Staff was super friendly. Will definitely be back!

The place was already busy right when they opened at 11, which is usually a good sign--and it definitely felt like a well-liked local spot. The atmosphere is very classic bar and grill with lots of seating, TVs, and a comfortable, casual feel. I ordered the chicken parmesan and French Onion Soup, and both were really good. The French Onion Soup had a rich, well-developed flavor, and the cheese on top had a slight sharp "funk" to it that actually worked really well. It added a little extra depth instead of just being heavy. The Chicken Parmesan tasted fresh and satisfying, with a good balance of sauce and breading. It had that comforting, homemade Italian-style feel rather than something overly processed. Overall, I would come back. It's not fancy, but it's a solid, reliable stop with good portions and flavors--especially if you're in the area or heading to a movie nearby.

Frankly, I'm shocked that this is my first review of Sunshine Factory because I've been here…read moreliterally dozens of times over the last 20 plus years, and that doesn't even include when they used to be in New Hope. I have always thought very highly of Sunshine Factory; it's packed every night, so do a lot of other people. (If you don't have a reservation and you come in after 4:45 pm on evening, be prepared for a wait.) The food had always been consistently excellent, and the service always had been (and is) fantastic. They must do a great job of finding and training wait staff because the are always friendly and efficient, and fill your drinks when they are even half full. Unfortunately, they have really shortened their menu offerings and I feel quality has slipped. It's true that this location seemed to be more casual than the old location, but the menu was comparable up until late in 2025, when they revamped and shortened the menu considerably. It now seems more bar-food oriented and more like Applebees or Chili's than what it used to be. I feel like Sunshine Factory has switched its business model from high-end diner to middle of the road food, because of a lack of choices and food quality that suffers in comparison to even a year ago. For example, I ordered the special that night, which was meatloaf. The plate came with corn and pieces of red bell pepper, a couple of slabs of meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy. The taste of the meatloaf was meh because it was overcooked and dry. The corn looked great, but had the taste of canned corn (not even frozen corn). The mashed potatoes and gravy were excellent; I just wish the other items on the plate were as good. (I've noticed this decline over my last few visits and no longer feel this is a one-off situation). I have no idea, but I feel that Sunshine Factory has consciously decided to downgrade its selection (the menu is probably a third of the old offerings) and quality, although service remains high. Although it is consistently crowded with returning guests, they run the risk of other people coming to the same conclusion, which will eventually erode the success they have had for decades. I know that the restaurant business is competitive and difficult, but you can't ride on your prior success long-term. I would love nothing more than to see them return to the variety and quality that they are (or were) known for.

The property is spacious, clean with the appropriate amount of lighting. There is a full bar, and a decent tap list. Feeling spunky today, I opted for the Bloody Mary because I was curious if 17.00 was a worthy price for this drink. I'll say there is a LOT of accoutrements in that glass. cheese, shrimp, olives, pickle, and salami(?) if I recall. It was a lot, which was nice, but the star of the show should be the Bloody Mary mix. Here, I felt it fell short, but that is just me. Onto the food - I probably should have stopped at the Bloody Mary, but I was not to be deterred. I ordered the Wagyu Mushroom Burger, and my dining partner ordered the half BLT with a cup of French Onion Soup. The burger was really disappointing. I will say the burger was perfectly made and cooked, but the sauteed mushrooms completely took over the flavor of the burger. Paying a premium price for some ground beef, it should be front and center. I won't order that again. The BLT was wonderful, and everything you'd expect. thick bacon with the right amount of lettuce and tomato, with avocado to add a creamy overtone. The French Onion soup was the best thing we were served. I would come back here again just for that. I would assign this establishment 3 stars, but our server was awesome, so they get an extra star just for this aspect of our dining experience.

The shrimp was nice and hot with a perfect coating of parm keeping it light and tasty. Ravioli had a nice topping which created a good contrast of textures. It came in two sizes and the smaller portion was more than enough for me. We finished our meal with a shared crème brûlée. Creamy custard and a crispy top was a perfect end to the meal. I somehow showed up wearing green without even planning it, so I accidentally matched the vibe which made it even better. The atmosphere overall feels clean, modern, and relaxed without being over the top. It works really well for a casual lunch or a low-key date where you still want something a little nicer. We tried a few different things, and everything was well done. The burger was juicy with a good melt on the cheese and a soft bun that held together nicely. Simple, but done right. The side salad was fresh and actually had flavor instead of just being there. The meatballs were a standout--really tender and covered in a rich, creamy sauce that made the dish feel more elevated. The mussels were also great, and the broth was flavorful enough that dipping the grilled bread in it was a must. Nothing felt like a miss, and everything had a little extra attention to detail. Also our server was very nice and kind I liked her. Overall, I'd come back. It's not super fancy, but it feels like a step up from your usual spots and is a great option if you want something cute, relaxed, and still really solid.
