I filed a complaint against Ms Duenke w/ the California Board of Psychology. After a 4 yr investigation they charged her w/ multiple acts of gross negligence, ethical lapses, incompetent billing and record keeping, among multiple other charges. She pleaded 'no contest' to all of it. That is, she agreed if I had taken her to court she would have lost. (Yes, she was represented by an attorney.)
Duenke was placed on probation for 5 yrs, required to have a full psych assessment done, attend psychotherapy for herself, etc etc. After 3 months she had done none of these things -- nor did she reimburse the state for the cost of the investigation. The state pulled her psychology license, so now she claims to be a "life coach" and promotes the use of psychedelic drugs to treat depression. (I have no idea what MD would assist her w/ this, given her history.)
If you have seen Ms Duenke in the last 2 yrs you can, if you wish, sue her for any negative experience you've had. If you've never met her, consider yourself lucky. Run, do not walk, away from this 'person.' Her multiple psychopathologies make a certain president look sane. read more
