There aren't enough words to describe how pleased I am with SkipNServe. Like many others who have…read moreleft reviews before me, I was having major trouble serving two defendants who were dodging service and refusing to open the door. The previous process serving company I used had already made four unsuccessful attempts. However, through an ingenious method I've never seen used before, Chris was able to quickly and smoothly complete the service on his very first attempt. He then promptly sent over the completed proofs of service along with video confirmation. I was also incredibly happy with Chris's rates. If this is your first time suing someone, you might initially feel like a professional process server charges a lot for what seems like simply handing over papers, but trust me, his fees are more than reasonable. Unlike most other servers who either charge per attempt or cap their attempts per fee, Chris guarantees unlimited attempts and, if needed, unlimited stakeout time. This virtually ensures a successful delivery unless the person decides to never leave their house again. Knowing Chris offers unlimited attempts gave me total peace of mind that I wasn't going to continuously burn money on failed tries, and I can't recommend him enough if you're dealing with an evasive defendant. Finally, Chris is just an all-around friendly and genuine person. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations; he spent a considerable amount of time answering my questions about his methods and even shared some incredibly helpful tips for the next steps in my case. Chris already has hundreds of 5-star reviews and certainly doesn't need mine to prove his competency, but he absolutely earned it.

We are deeply grateful for Chris' outstanding help during a very difficult part of our case. From…read morethe beginning, he handled substituted service with skill, care, and a level of diligence that immediately gave us confidence. He prepared thorough declarations and Proofs of Service, paid close attention to the details that matter in litigation, and understood how to support the service in a way that would hold up under scrutiny. When service was challenged, he stood with us through multiple motions and rebuttals, helping us stay organized, focused, and prepared at every stage. What impressed us most was that Chris went far beyond what anyone would normally expect from a process server. He proactively obtained USPS address verification without being asked, and he helped us form and sharpen our filings so our arguments were clearer and stronger. He was thoughtful, responsive, and generous with his time, and he always approached the situation with professionalism and a real understanding of the legal issues involved. His guidance helped us present our position clearly and confidently in the hearings, and his support made a stressful process much more manageable. Chris was not just reliable -- he was truly exceptional. We cannot recommend him highly enough, whether you are plaintiffs in pro per like us or professionals in law. If you need someone who is knowledgeable, proactive, meticulous, and genuinely committed to doing excellent work, Chris is exactly the person you want on your side.

JPL brings a level of responsiveness, and attention to detail that makes a real difference. They have consistently gone above and beyond for me, and their support has white glove. They help ensure things are done correctly and take a lot of the friction out of the process. In a system where not everyone has access to full legal representation, having a service like this is more than worth the cost--and for someone representing themselves--I would say it is critical. Highly recommend.

I hired this company to perform process service for an upcoming court hearing scheduled for March…read more9, 2026 at 9:30 AM. On the morning of the hearing, I contacted the company to obtain the status of service and any service attempt information. Because the court required detailed information regarding service attempts, a court clerk also contacted the company seeking the dates and times of any attempts. At that time, the requested information was not provided. My hearing proceeded without the service information, and the matter was concluded shortly thereafter due to the lack of completed service. Several hours later, at approximately 12:27 PM on March 9, 2026, after the hearing had already ended, the company sent a report containing alleged service attempts from March 5 through March 8. My concern is not simply whether service attempts were made. My concern is that the information was not made available before the hearing, when it was actually needed. As a result, the service had no practical value to me at the time of the court proceeding. After I disputed the charge with my credit card issuer, the company continued to send invoices and informed me that finance charges would accumulate and that the account may eventually be sent to collections.
