Duckstein Restoration was a breath of fresh air when we needed it most. After discovering a sewage back-up in our finished game room just before Thanksgiving, panic set in as to who we would get to address this situation and how soon someone could get there. Within two hours of our discovery and phone calls to our insurance company and Duckstein Restoration, Duckstein was at our door ready to do address our needs asap. This being a Sunday afternoon my wife and I weren't sure what we should be doing, who we should contact, who would be available, when they could come, etc. When a representative, David, from Duckstein came to our house he immediately put us at ease. he explained what they would be doing how this type of problem needs to be addressed and the steps they would take to get it done as quickly as possible. While sitting with David going over this, four men from their company showed up and began the necessary clean up. My wife and I were amazed. We figured we wouldn't be able to get anything done until at least the next day which was a Monday and the beginning of a work week. These men worked diligently and without hesitation to make sure everything that needed to be done right now would be done. Demolition, sanitization, clean up, moving of furniture and storage items, documenting in detail how everything was when they got here so it could be put back the same way, made my wife and I able to relax knowing we were in good hands. In fact we were even able to watch the Steelers play the Ravens that evening and enjoy it without worries. Once all of the demolition and sanitization were completed, David reviewed with us the next steps in the process. The owner and David came to the house the next day to sit down with my wife and me to set a work schedule and pick out samples of materials that needed to be replaced. When all of the materials were on hand work began. The workers showed up early and worked late to get the job done in a timely and efficient manner. If we had any questions they were always available for comment. Now that the project has been completed my wife and I are greatly appreciative of the job Duckstein Restoration has done for us. The game room looks better than it did before. Everyone that has seen it has commented favorably. Without hesitation we would recommend Duckstein Restoration to anyone that needed their services. You can't go wrong. Bill and Virginia Heasley Natrona Heights read more

Extremely disappointed with this rental company. When we first applied, the rent was $1,600, and the property was advertised as pet-friendly. They required an additional pet rent, which we thought was already too much, but we still accepted it because we really liked the place. We paid the application fee, went through the entire application process, and then the very next day they told us the owner was reconsidering the pet policy and that they no longer wanted pets. Now the property is listed as **no pets** and the rent has been increased to $1,800. It honestly feels like they realized they could get more money and changed the terms after people had already applied and paid. If the owner was unsure about accepting pets, that should have been figured out before taking application fees and advertising the property as pet-friendly. The lack of communication and professionalism was extremely frustrating. We were willing to pay the additional pet rent, and they still changed their mind after taking our money. A complete waste of our time and application fee. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a rental. Make sure you get everything in writing and do not assume the advertised pet policy or rent is actually final. read more

I used Duckstein Restoration after a water heater cracked and caused extensive damage to my home. They were recommended by my homeowners insurance and did a great job removing the water, drying the areas with fans, and removing damaged furnishings and carpet. They arrived promptly and were conscientious and courteous. A representative also came and carefully explained the work and the insurance process. I also used Duckstein to complete the repairs. Their experienced crew carefully painted the walls and doors, replaced ceiling tiles, and repaired a textured ceiling area around the skylights. I was very pleased with the quality of all their work and would not hesitate to use them again. read more

Last November we had a horrible fire in our home. When we called our insurance company they told us to call Duckstein. Jeff and Phyllis came out right away and viewed our damages. They got crews out immediately to protect our property from potential looters. Phyllis and her team of Amish girls started the very next morning removing our contents from our home and they took them all back to their office to clean and store. They were even nice enough to set out our items so we could go through and get what we needed. Jeff and the carpenters did an amazing job returning our home back to better than it was before. We couldn't be happier with the fast and courteous service they provided. read more

Duckstein Restoration was recommended to us by our insurance company and we were very impressed with their overall quality of service. Not only were all of their employees courteous and careful, but they were also detailed and clear about what our insurance company would cover. They had to come out on two occasions to complete the repair work from water damage and now we can barely tell that there was once a huge hole in our kitchen ceiling. They were also able to deal with our case quickly so that our kitchen was usable in time for Thanksgiving. I would definitely use their services again. read more

I had two repairs done by Duckstein Restoration. They worked with my insurance company (one of the preferred contractors for Erie Insurance) and did an excellent job. They were on time, clean and did quality work. They were so good, that I requested Duckstein the second time I had water damage and was completely satisfied with their work both times. Duckstein is not the cheapest contractor but when they are finished, your home will be as good as new and you won't have continuing problems. I have dealt with several contractors because I built my house and Duckstein is by far the best. read more

My recent experience with Duckstein was extremely positive. The crew ,who came to remove all damage by a water issue , came that day and were professional and thorough. Although I have had many crews in my home for recent renovations, the crew of Rege and Eric ,who repaired the recent damage, were amazing. They were conscientious, professional, prompt, honest and greatly skilled. They cared about making sure that the entire project was completed to the highest of standards. I highly recommend this company based upon this crew. read more

They are kinda corrupt with some things they deal with. I would not recommend them. They don't strive for employee success or to have a great work environment. They only do what needs to be done to get the insurance money. They do not educate employees, the managers do not do great at managing.. atleast the healthy way. They have a fast turnover employee rate and they do not care. read more
