Anyway, Mark talked to me for 30 minutes on the project and the way his company does business. He said he would quote me after he came out and walked on the roof and looked things over. He was the first and only contractor to do that. He took pictures of the roof and discussed what was needed. I received the quote promptly. He wasn't the cheapest and was in the midst of most of the other quotes I received. We went with him because of the referral and the 25 year gaf warranty they could offer because they are a MASTER ELITE GAF installer. Because of an opening in their schedule due to a cancellation, they were able to come out within 1 week of signing the contract. They were literally on site working for 5 hours on our 1100 square foot home. They started at 8 am and was gone by 1 pm. The job was completed extremely quickly and appears to be very well done. It's been a week since the install on 6/6/2017, if I have anything to add to this review later, I will update it.

For the initial meeting and estimate, Rick gave us a wealth of information. He knew more about my roof that I did from walking around my home. He recommended a few different improvements including an attic fan and gave us options to extend the life of our existing roof or replace it entirely. We ultimately opted for a new roof and gutters to mitigate our water issues and extend the life of our home. Pittsabana's team is all of this and more! From the first call to receive a free estimate through to completion, Maria, Ivan and the Pittsabana team were a pure delight to work with. Their knowledgeable and professional service made the potential headache of major home repairs dissolve. I initially contracted Pitttsabana to remove the ineffective box gutters from my 1900 home that had been poorly repaired in what some might call a 'fix and flip'. I called for the estimate on a Friday of a holiday weekend and Ivan showed up first thing Monday morning to take drone imaging of the gutters in order to provide the most accurate estimate. I was provided two estimates: one to repair the existing box gutters and another to remove them and install a seamless aluminum gutter system. In the end, I chose the second. However, upon removing the box gutters, Ivan' team gained access to the attic for the first time as I have no internal access and discovered considerable water damage, NO Insulation, and shingles slapped on top of other shingles to hide the actual state of the roof!! (No wonder my gas/electric bills were so high!) Ivan contacted me immediately with images and knowledge of how to go about fixing the roof, and again I was provided with multiple options to choose from.
