On 8/18/26 a portion of my living room ceiling collapsed leaving a gaping hole. After reading a lot of reviews for plasterers I decided to contact Dell' Aquila Plastering. I made the right choice. Robert returned my call within 1 1/2 hours and set up an appointment to come and survey the job. He then made a date to do the work. Robert, Gary, and Jimmy arrived around 9:00 AM just as they said they would. The went to work and each person did their part in concert with the others. They were cheerful and funny and made a stressful situation a lot easier. The results exceeded my expectations. The final product was beautiful. I especially appreciated their moving heavy furniture pieces that I would not have been able to do myself. I hope I don't need their services anytime soon but if I do I won't hesitate to call them again. Thank You, Dell' Aquila Plastering. read more

My wife and I were very pleased by the plaster work that was performed in our home by Robert Dell'aquilla Plastering. The owner and his workers did great work on about 5 different areas of our house, ranging from holes that had been punched into walls from previous electrical work, damage that had been done during storms and leaking gutters, and cracks in some rooms due to subsidence. In each case, the work was done professionally and completely, addressing the issues and leaving each area looking like new. The employees were very experienced and skilled, making some difficult repair situations look amazing. They treated our home like their own, even repairing some minor issues they spotted that were not initially requested. All of the crew were diligent in cleaning the rooms and closet areas that had been worked on. We found Robert Dell'aquilla Plastering by searching and researching previous Google reviews. We were very pleased with the work that they performed in our home. read more

Wife and I bought a house recently in Pittsburgh. The kitchen , bathroom & living room had disgusting drop ceilings in them. We bought a beautiful 100 year old house with all plaster walls and ceilings why would anyone ruin it by putting in cheap crap drop ceilings it. We called Robert Dell'aquila Plastering as they had super reviews on Angies list. Robert the owner came over the next day and gave us an estimate for the 3 rooms. The price was very fair and we told him to do the work. Plastering is not like sheetrock and sparkling it is an art and very specialized. Tony was the main plasterer and did a totally amazing job. Watching Tony walking on the stilts to do the ceilings was really cool. Tony did all of the plastering for the kitchen and living room ceilings and definitely did the best job ever The ceilings came out totally amazing and would definitely recommend Robert Dell'aquila Plastering. I would also use them again and again. read more

We had a hole in our kitchen ceiling from some plumbing repairs and Robert and R.J. patched it good as new. Great, professional work. Great at communicating what work needs to be done, when, and for how much. Call them before anyone else. read more

Bob is what is called a "Master Plasterer," something I didn't know existed until I needed to camoflauge an unsightly repair in the ceiling of my parents' house. There aren't many Master Plasterers around these days so I'm lucky to have found him. Bob is extremely talented and this is his vocation. He exudes experience and commitment to his craft. Bob identified and matched the unusual plastering pattern in parents' home, which was built in the forties. Most of the people I spoke to were essentially dry wall people. Nothing wrong with that, and the ones my parents hired were hard workers. But to match an unusual plaster pattern and camoflauge damage the way Bob did, well, honestly, it takes innate artistic talent that not everybody is born with. And he was reasonably priced! I know he's called out to work on mansions and that may be a different story. But for our humble situation, I was truly thankful I was able to have him work on my parents' home. I am so grateful to Bob and always will be. He did work for me after my parents' passing three years ago and he was exceedingly kind, cheerful and reliable during a sad time in my life. I happened to see his listing come up on Yelp while I was looking for something else just now and had to take a moment to write a glowing review. Thank you, Bob. read more

I had a roof leak which caused part of my plaster in my second floor bedroom to fall. Home was built in 1945. What a mess! Fortunately I found Robert. He did a beautiful, professional job at a very competitive price. Clean up was great. I would hire again without hesitation. read more

Robert repaired a rain-damaged ceiling in a bedroom and a large repair around a chimney in a third-floor room. He responded promptly and came out for the estimate and was able to come two days later to do the repair. He and his helper did the repair with excellent results, were very polite and nice to deal with and cleaned up nicely when done. I am very glad we called them. Becky S. - Canonsburg, PA read more

I can't recommend Bob and Bob Jr. more highly! They came out for an estimate the day after I called to get pretty extensive water damage on the ceiling of my 1935 house fixed, and were able to fit me in three days later. The cost was more than reasonable, they did quick and excellent work, and left the work area clean. Very nice guys, and I'm super-happy with the results. read more

I used Yelp to find a plasterer for my parents house. My parents had a leak that had made the ceiling fall in the living room and almost an entire wall in the same room needed removed and repaired. They came on time, gave the quote, which was reasonable. My dad schedule the repair. The arrived on time. The repair was great. My parents were so impressed by the job that they did. The cleaned up everything afterward. My parents wanted to make sure that I gave them the highest recommendation that I could give. Loved how professional they were, the price they gave was the cost not a penny more. We had called other companies. They wouldn't even call back, or they gave a price that was a ridiculously high bid. Hire this company you won't be disappointed! read more

Robert and his team performed superior work, true craftsmen. I had a 5' x 5' area of my dining room ceiling that collapsed due to aging plaster. I called Robert and he was able to come out and make the repairs within a week. You cannot even tell where the hole was due to how perfectly they were able to blend it. I would absolutely recommend these guys to anyone looking for plaster repairs and plan to use them again for another section of my ceiling that needs repaired. read more

I am on the Board of a historic property on the National Register, The David Bradford House Museum in Washington, PA. I had previously utilized Bobby's company on a ceiling project in my 110-year old house. I was very pleased with the responsiveness, price, and quality of the work performed. When our house museum needed a crack repaired in an 1803 portion of the building, I was given a recommendation of another plasterer, whom I called. He was unavailable as he has retired, but, he recommended Bobby. I remembered Bobby's excellent work and recommended him to our Board. His price was almost half of another bid that we received, and he was ready to do the job immediately. We would not let just anyone work on a historic property, but I could recommend Bobby Dell'Aquila for your 18th, 19th, 20th, or 21st century home. You will appreciate his timely initiation of the job; his very reasonable pricing; and his personable demeanor. read more

I have the highest recommendation for Robert and his entire team. They did a substantial amount of work re-plastering and re-painting almost all of my home, and all of their work was outstanding. I have had work done by other reputable services, but Robert is a master plasterer who is especially skilled at his craft -- and those skills are extremely hard to find; he expertly fixed and replastered my walls and ceilings so that they looked brand new. His son then came in to repaint all of those areas, along with my basement and additional jobs. Throughout the entire process, Robert and his son were consummate professionals -- they were always on schedule, immediately responsive to calls/texts, super friendly, and extremely conscientious about minimizing disruption and keeping my home clean. Even when there were surprises that arose during the job, they were very easy to work and their prices are very reasonable. They are not the cheapest, but their prices are extremely competitive when you consider that they are the best plaster people I have ever used. I would not hesitate recommending them to any one for any kind of job, as long as they want the job done right with people who genuinely care about their job. read more
