However, I was advised to simply turn the water back on to check for leaks and system integrity. When I raised concerns about potential damage or flooding, they were not willing to assume any responsibility if issues occurred. Given the condition of the property, I was expecting a safer process such as pressure testing or a staged inspection prior to reactivating the water system. Unfortunately, that was not offered.
