I told my boyfriend that if he were to buy me flowers, this place is a must. A month goes by and I was surprised with the most beautiful pink peonies. My boyfriend told me he did a walk in and unfortunately he had to wait 30m-1hr since she was finishing up a bouquet of flowers for another client. Conveniently, her store is located inside Oakridge mall, so he shopped around. After 45m, he came back and like she said she was ready to take his order. I honestly wish that there was a way to give more than 5 stars for Sara. She is amazing in her art! I first worked with Dubon Floral Design while they had their small shop next to the Apple Store in Valley Fair. There I was able to purchase a dozen of rainbow roses, but the arraignments and how their staff worked with me that day was memorable. This was the reason why when I was proposed to, I knew I had to work with them for the flower arrangements. During the wedding arrangements, unfortunately my Grandmother passed away. I spoke to Dubon Floral Design and they were able to walk me through the process of getting arrangements made. I honestly didn't know what would be best, but I knew my grandmother loved purple. I got married in September 2017 and was fortunate enough to have Sara as my florist, she is absolutely amazing!!! I wanted a classic, clean yet rustic look using calle lillies. But here's the catch, I wanted my calle lillies dyed turquoise !!! I never realized how detailed and meticulous this request was until Sara created samples for me. Her process and outstanding attention to detail was obvious and heartwarming!!! She made my vision come to life and it appeared to be effortless for her (which it totally wasn't) she ultimately ended up spraying more than 70 calle lillies for my big day! Designs seem beautiful, but I never got to see them in person. I was communicating with Sara for several months leading up to the wedding. I had to be the one to follow up on the contract, had to ask for updated contracts, had to remind her that I can't open Google Docs links. When we finally scheduled to meet to sign the contract, she got confused with the meeting time and thought it wasn't for another hour. I had already given her a deposit because I was getting nervous not having a signed contract one month before the wedding. Due to this meeting incident, I asked her to refund the deposit until I'm able to sign the contract, and I also asked for more photos. At this point, my confidence in her was diminishing due to what seemed to be back-to-back communication issues and errors with details. What if she got the wedding date wrong? (which she did in the first draft of the contract) I asked for more photos of her work that were similar to the type of flowers I described in our conversations. She said she was having trouble finding pictures because they were in different areas (phone, computer, etc.), and the next day said that she couldn't send the pictures due to file size, and that she thinks it would be better if I looked for another florist that I'm comfortable with. I understand that the experience is probably frustrating for her, too, but I don't think it was cool for a florist to drop a bride one month away from the wedding, instead of trying to make things right with the customer. I had to scramble to find another florist. read more

Was referred to Sara through a friend and loved her creative edge displayed on her website and in initially speaking with her. An extremely sweet lady, just wish I had communicated my vision for flowers a bit more. I sent photos of centerpieces, suits, dresses and flower designs and ended up with centerpieces that did not match the table (brass on silver). Additionally, I was a little frustrated because I wanted more greenery and less flower heavy bouquets, and specifically asked to stay away from heavy rose bouquets. I ended up with heavy rose bouquets with little greenery. Throughout the process I asked for visuals and pictures to get an idea and try to be on the same page, but just did not receive them. Honestly I sent everything I could and communication was just not there. I'm sure our guests didn't notice, but for the amount of money and time invested from our end explaining, researching and sending photos I feel like emails and conversations were lost. Nice person, great product and great website... just didn't feel heard or understood. I think she was very busy this season, so our wedding may have been overlooked (ie didn't get visuals of what flowers would be used until the Thursday before our weekend wedding, sat at Starbucks for an hour waiting for an appointment to meet, wrong phone numbers in emails w/ no collaboration throughout the process). Hope to see some changes for future business ventures, because I think she's very talented... just needs to work on the business side of things. read more
