The day before pick up, I requested a bouquet of flowers for my homegirl's graduation (purple). I gave the owner my ideas and she made it into reality. It was beyond my expectations! The price is very reasonable, too reasonable. The passion and effort she puts into her art shows. From the flowers to the decor of her shop, everything is aesthetic and elegant. I told my boyfriend that if he were to buy me flowers, this place is a must. A month goes by and I was surprised with the most beautiful pink peonies. My boyfriend told me he did a walk in and unfortunately he had to wait 30m-1hr since she was finishing up a bouquet of flowers for another client. Conveniently, her store is located inside Oakridge mall, so he shopped around. After 45m, he came back and like she said she was ready to take his order. It took about 30m for her to put it all together. With that being said, the owner is easy to talk to, great with time management, and takes pride on the work that she does. You won't be disappointed! read more

Great experience! Went in and asked if she had any bouquets around $40 for a graduation and she said she would make one for me! She made a beautiful bouquet with blue and white roses for the school colors and other delicate florals and leaves. The best part is that she was able to make it in exactly 20 mins just like she estimated! She even called and let me know when it was ready. 10/10 will be back with any other floral needs. read more

I wish I could write a whole novel solely on how amazing Sara is, but I will try my best to keep this short and sweet. Sara is truly a god send. From the moment I first got in contact with her down to my wedding day, she was just amazing. She really listens to you and truly cares, I felt as if my friend was my florist. I don't know a lot about flowers and of course planning a wedding is already very stressful. Sara assured me I was in good hands and worked with my ideas, style, budget, schedule and just so much more. She is truly a beautiful vendor on the inside and out. I wanted to write this review before I even saw my flowers because the business she runs alone deserves 5 stars. On the day of my wedding I finally got to see her work and I was taken away by the beauty. I've already gotten so many compliments on my photos and the first thing they ask is who was my florist. Everything was perfect! Thank you again Sara. Your truly are amazing. read more

Such a lovely addition to Oakridge! Get flowers within your budget any time :) I walked in and requested a custom bouquet built around chrysanthemum and purple rose for $40. I wasn't sure if they would be swamped since it was the day before Valentines, but they were able to put something together within 20 minutes!! And it's lovely -- love a hand-tied bouquet. My momma loved the sparkly tulle. My momma did also tell me that chrysanthemums are meant for the sick and elderly in Chinese culture soooo don't make the mistake I did there pahaha read more

While we didn't end up using Dubon Floral Design for our wedding,I just want to say how communicative, kind and professional my experiences were with both Sara and Adriana. Our decision was based solely on the perks that go along hiring a preferred vendor from our venue's list, but otherwise Dubon Floral Design definitely sparked our interest. Their work is beautiful, their response times were efficient and they really wanted to capture my vision. On top of that, when I had to let them know we went with another vendor, they were SO sweet. They asked how they could improve and then graciously congratulated us on our booking. THAT is great customer service and honestly just good ol' professionalism at it's best. Thank you Sara & Adriana read more

Before I start this review, I just say how much I appreciate her and her very artistic mind! I work at a high end salon in Down Town Palo Alto and she brings to the salon very often. It was the salons two year anniversary and I needed the most beauty flowers in the Bay Area, Sara was the first that came to mind (pic attached below) Not only is she very professional, she's very friendly, has a beautiful soul and tends to brighten up the room when she walks in. I'm only 26 but I can't wait to find someone to marry so I can hire Sara to do all the flowers lol read more

Sara and her team are THE BEST! She was super helpful, kind, attentive and gave me the best advice when I was planning my wedding. I pretty much sent her pictures that I found on pretty much every single media outlet out there and she just brought my vision to life! She worked with my budget, gave me ideas on how to save money while still making my wedding look absolutely beautiful and magnificent! I honestly can't thank her enough! My guests including all the different vendors that participated in my wedding all raved about our centerpieces and floral set up. Believe me you won't be disappointed! I'm referring everyone that I know that is either getting married or planning a special occasion. read more

I honestly wish that there was a way to give more than 5 stars for Sara. She is amazing in her art! I first worked with Dubon Floral Design while they had their small shop next to the Apple Store in Valley Fair. There I was able to purchase a dozen of rainbow roses, but the arraignments and how their staff worked with me that day was memorable. This was the reason why when I was proposed to, I knew I had to work with them for the flower arrangements. During the wedding arrangements, unfortunately my Grandmother passed away. I spoke to Dubon Floral Design and they were able to walk me through the process of getting arrangements made. I honestly didn't know what would be best, but I knew my grandmother loved purple. I let the team know and a picture I found on the internet. They were able to make the two arrangements that are attached to this review and honestly they were amazing. It was way more than what we were expecting. read more

I got married in September 2017 and was fortunate enough to have Sara as my florist, she is absolutely amazing!!! I wanted a classic, clean yet rustic look using calle lillies. But here's the catch, I wanted my calle lillies dyed turquoise !!! I never realized how detailed and meticulous this request was until Sara created samples for me. Her process and outstanding attention to detail was obvious and heartwarming!!! She made my vision come to life and it appeared to be effortless for her (which it totally wasn't) she ultimately ended up spraying more than 70 calle lillies for my big day! In addition to that, my bouquet and bridesmaids bouquets were breathtaking and the arch was everything!!! I can't say enough about Sara so I will cut it short. Sara is a beautiful person inside and out. She KNOWS her craft and takes pride in her work! If you want a florist that creates fairytales out of flowers, she's your woman!! read more

Designs seem beautiful, but I never got to see them in person. I was communicating with Sara for several months leading up to the wedding. I had to be the one to follow up on the contract, had to ask for updated contracts, had to remind her that I can't open Google Docs links. When we finally scheduled to meet to sign the contract, she got confused with the meeting time and thought it wasn't for another hour. I had already given her a deposit because I was getting nervous not having a signed contract one month before the wedding. Due to this meeting incident, I asked her to refund the deposit until I'm able to sign the contract, and I also asked for more photos. At this point, my confidence in her was diminishing due to what seemed to be back-to-back communication issues and errors with details. What if she got the wedding date wrong? (which she did in the first draft of the contract) I asked for more photos of her work that were similar to the type of flowers I described in our conversations. She said she was having trouble finding pictures because they were in different areas (phone, computer, etc.), and the next day said that she couldn't send the pictures due to file size, and that she thinks it would be better if I looked for another florist that I'm comfortable with. I understand that the experience is probably frustrating for her, too, but I don't think it was cool for a florist to drop a bride one month away from the wedding, instead of trying to make things right with the customer. I had to scramble to find another florist. read more

I'm a wedding planner and I have worked with Sara more times than I can count now - she never dissapoints! Was referred to Sara through a friend and loved her creative edge displayed on her website and in initially speaking with her. An extremely sweet lady, just wish I had communicated my vision for flowers a bit more. I sent photos of centerpieces, suits, dresses and flower designs and ended up with centerpieces that did not match the table (brass on silver). Additionally, I was a little frustrated because I wanted more greenery and less flower heavy bouquets, and specifically asked to stay away from heavy rose bouquets. I ended up with heavy rose bouquets with little greenery. Throughout the process I asked for visuals and pictures to get an idea and try to be on the same page, but just did not receive them. Honestly I sent everything I could and communication was just not there. I'm sure our guests didn't notice, but for the amount of money and time invested from our end explaining, researching and sending photos I feel like emails and conversations were lost. Nice person, great product and great website... just didn't feel heard or understood. I think she was very busy this season, so our wedding may have been overlooked (ie didn't get visuals of what flowers would be used until the Thursday before our weekend wedding, sat at Starbucks for an hour waiting for an appointment to meet, wrong phone numbers in emails w/ no collaboration throughout the process). Hope to see some changes for future business ventures, because I think she's very talented... just needs to work on the business side of things. read more

Where to start ?? First of all there's many reasons why I would give Dubon Floral Design a five star. I would want to start off by saying she is an amazing talented person. I got married last year in March, I looked her up and let her know how I would want my bouquet to look. Once I let her know how I wanted it, she also brought some great ideas that made me even more excited about her work. Then finally she surprised me with an amazing bouquet with fresh and unique flowers. I honestly fell in love with it. And i couldn't of chosen a better person t make my bouquet she's sooo amazing! I will highly recommend her. read more
