Posting this here as well!!! Feel free to reach out if you have any information that could help lead to finding the employee who assaulted me. I can offer a $200 reward! (Up to $500 depending on the outcome of the prosecution) Update 8/2/2025: thank you all for the support! I feel a bit less alone in this. The charges are still active against the male employee who assaulted me however, the business is still utilizing attorneys to protect themselves. 3/15/2025 I was slammed to the ground. I tried to follow my friends who went inside. I asked to be let inside & the bouncer slammed me-- a 98lbs woman to the ground. The force caused my oral equipment to break. Others went back in with no issues. If there was a re-entry policy, I couldn't tell. I did call 911 as I was assaulted by staff. Such an unbelievable experience for a woman with a masters degree-- who is openly honest & transparent. 3/17/2025 After approaching the business about this, I received an unhinged email from the owner stating that I was acting outside the terms of their policy. I was not. I conduct myself in a manner that reflects the values of those I represent in the community. The owner also stated I must remove social media posts when I have not posted in a couple years. Update! 4/2/2025 I was able to view about an hour and a half of footage (with police) to determine what I was doing and determine the identity of the suspect. It was confirmed that I was acting according to policy however, the suspect was not identified given the poor video angles. The bar requires a search warrant to get ANY video so if something (nefarious) happens to you there, keep this in mind. The investigation is ongoing. 4/3/2025: As the investigation is stalled, I DID choose to post about my experience-- after being told not to. The bar blocked me. The business is beyond challenging to work with when issues arise. read more

Popped in here after checking into our hotel which was right across the street for some much needed libations after our 3hr. drive from Chicago. It was a Wednesday so pretty mellow but we have a great time! Guinness on tap and lots of Jameson to be had. Got there too late to taste the food but we more than made up for that w/the alcohol. Went back on Friday night when they had a dj and dancing...great selection of music and very lively. Staff were AMAZING!!! Being from Hawai'i and in the industry we are always looking for places that have great friendly staff. These guys didn't disappoint! From the owner to the Manager, Servers and Bartenders everyone was so welcoming! Now I know why they are one of the best "little city's" in the US. If ever in Grand Rapids again this is a must stop for us! read more

Visited on 1/23/2026. Bartender said sit anywhere you want so we took a table at the front. Waited fifteen minutes without being acknowledged. No water. No menu. No "I'll be over in a minute". So we just walked out. They weren't that busy and there was plenty of staff, at least 5-6, having a good time joking behind the bar. Owners need to invest in managers and staff that have some work ethic; it certainly was not present last night. read more

No matter if they change their name or not, it is still the same disappointing bar with crappy beer choices, a tiny dancefloor, an unnecessary cover charge, bad customer service - I could go on and on. The one and only time I bought a basic shot here, it was $7. Whaaaaaat. I do not, will not, come here based on my own will at this point. Dublin Hall gives the appearance of a traditional Irish pub. The decor was very traditional for the venue, and relatively clean. We came in right after opening, so it was pretty empty. The service was great. While my husband's order was messed up, our waitress quickly noticed and offered to fix it. My review would be much higher if it weren't for the food. The menu is very limited, which isn't bad if it is done well. However, being an Irish branded venue one would expect Irish options. The only "Irish" option on the menu was fish and chips. Half of the menu was appetizer items and the rest were American or Mexican. On top of that, everything was very overpriced. My chicken sandwich wasn't much different than something that I could get at a fast food chain, right down to the processed cheese slice melted on top. While the food tasted fine, it definitely wasn't worth the high price. Would I recommend it or go there again? Probably not. Did it get the job done? Yes. Was the service good and friendly? Absolutely. (I would give it a 3.5 if I could.) read more

This place is certainly one of my favorite spots in Grand Rapids. First and foremost, the service is second to none. The managers here do a great job providing a multitude of experiences that seamlessly flow together: at times, a pub, at other times, a sports bar, or a nightclub. It truly is a place that can do it all, and well. The food is easy; it offers a variety of dishes that are recognizable and it is served consistently and well. The bartenders welcome a good challenge and can provide a multitude of options that fit your tastes (stock permitting!). I consider it my "home" bar downtown and hope others enjoy it as much as I do. read more

Came in on a Thursday before a concert at Van Andel. Really not busy for an event night. We were seated immediately among other open tables. We ordered our food - nothing special (a burger, wings, nachos...) and still hadn't received it over AN HOUR later. We ended up requesting they remove the food from our bill so we could leave. After another 10 minutes waiting for our bill to be cashed out, they brought our food out and told us they'd box it up for us and offer it at a discount. Sorry, no. Will not be returning. read more

Wow. What a disappointment. I was so excited to see what I could only assume was another Irish Pub in town. Stopped in for a quick bite and a beer on Saturday around 6:00. It was fairly empty and there was a sign that said to seat ourselves. We first chose a high top table which had a QR code for the menu, but decided to move to the bar instead. There wasn't a QR code at the bar for a menu and none of the staff offered a menu. Actually, none of the staff even addressed us. We received no greeting, no one ever said they'd be with us shortly, or acknowledged that we were there at all. We were there about 10 minutes. After finally finding a website since web service (and in person service) was terrible we discovered that they don't have food, just alcohol. We ended up leaving without ever even receiving even a "hello" from a staff member. There were at least 4 people working who passed us multiple times, and they were not busy. Unfortunately I wasn't a fan of the previous establishment in this location and it looks like an equally disappointing one is following. Don't waste your time here. read more

I've been here multiple times and have been disappointed in the service literally every time. They are so rude and unattentive to the guests. There is one bartender who is polite and the only one I would order from if I were to go back (which I will avoid at all costs). The music is good but not worth the horrible service. May possibly be a decent place to go if your ID says you're from Michigan but the bouncers here have clearly never left Grand Rapids and seen an out of state ID. I am a MI native who moved to Nashville and has a Tennessee ID. The bouncer was SO rude and couldn't tell a legit ID from a fake one. He rudely turned us away after thoroughly checking our ID and then gave it back to me even though he insisted it was a fake. I am 25 years old and will never ever return or recommend this bar to anyone as a Grand Rapids local. I am truly astonished at the lack of competency and respect. read more

This is a prime example of a bar masking as Irish. We went in for a quick drink and the Guinness was served in plastic cups and the pour was the worst we've seen. Then, all drinks that required lime or some kind of fruit were served with some kind of liquid fruit form. No garnishments at all. read more

Started out fun, the bartender was nice and inviting. I had explained how we had a terrible time at another restaurant and it was our first time in Grand Rapids, and she seemed more than welcoming. My boyfriend and myself then went to the bathroom. The places we had been had genderless bathrooms so we weren't even thinking and just walked into the same one. No one was in there. We were in there maybe 5 minutes, and when we walked out the bouncer (who actually said he was quitting today anyway-) was told that he had to tell us to leave. I could understand if we were putting on a PDA show, or in there for a while, which neither are true. I think this was ridiculous and extreme. We weren't bothering anyone and there was hardly anyone in the bar itself anyway. Maybe a "hey guys you can't use the same bathroom.." would've sufficed. We had to leave immediately. Thankfully the bouncer was nice otherwise I would've had some words with the manager (who I'm pretty sure is the one who was butthurt upon seeing us go in). People are snowflakes nowadays. There should be genderless bathrooms, everywhere tbh. What a disappointment of a staff. Maybe try doing what you probably think we were doing- and get laid. Funny thing is the place before, we went in together (genderless) and there was a group of people that kept making jokes as if we were hooking up in there. Visited this bar spontaneously while staying in downtown GR. We went bar hopping and this was the best one we visited! I liked the Dublin Peach. The music was great, the cover was $5, and it wasn't too busy nor too empty on a Friday night. We stayed from around midnight until 2am. The bathrooms are very clean and the bartenders were great! I've been here a few times before and after COVID and it's always a great time! I'm so glad their patio is reopen with the nice weather and every time i've been there they have a DJ playing which we loved!
