For two years, I used this pet groomer for my English bulldog Olive every several weeks. The employees always warmly greeted us and never kept us waiting. Each appointment lasted about one hour, and the employees did a bath, blowdrying, nail-clipping, and ear cleaning. The employees gently handled my shy and nervous dog, and Olive walked into and out of the store happily. After each appointment, Olive's fur felt soft and smelled good. Recently, I began to take my French Bulldog Daisy here for grooming. So far, she has had two appointments. In the first appointment, employees did a Small-breed Bath for $42 plus tax, credit-card fee, and tip. During the second visit, Daisy got the same service, except we also asked for a tooth cleaning, which they said would cost $10. After both appointments, Daisy looked and smelled great, and she seemed to enjoy the attention.

Our cat Roo stayed at Puppourri Pet Resort from September 26-29, 2025, and when we picked her up,…read moreshe had a large untreated wound across her upper back and neck. We had to rush her straight to the emergency vet because she was bleeding, in pain, and terrified. The manager later admitted that Roo was kept isolated and wasn't given her prescribed daily medication while she was there. We were never called or informed that anything had happened to her. No one reached out to tell us that our cat was hurt, covered in blood, and needed medical care. The emergency vet confirmed that her injury was serious and required immediate treatment. She now needs her bandages changed and wound care every two days, and we still don't know how long it will take for her to heal. So far, we've spent over $2,000 trying to save her. We've filed complaints with the PA Department of Agriculture (Bureau of Dog Law Enforcement), the local SPCA/Humane Law Enforcement, and other agencies, and are pursuing legal action so no other family or pet has to go through something like this. Please double-check that any boarding facility you trust with your pets is licensed, inspected, and properly trained to handle medication and emergencies. Our sweet Roo is suffering, and we just want to make sure what happened to her never happens again.

The Manager of Puppourri has acknowledged that during her stay, our cat was kept isolated ("locked up") and did not receive her prescribed daily medication. We were never contacted or informed about her condition while she was in their care. They did not bother to call us to let us know she was covered in blood, in pain, and alone. They did not even try to get her any kind of help whatsoever and instead locked her up. The Emergency veterinarian confirmed that the injury required immediate medical treatment and that she continues to need ongoing wound care. She requires veterinarian care every 2 days so far and we do not know if our kitten will survive or not. We have spent over $2,000 since she was injured at Puppourri Pet Resort. We want to do our part to ensure that no Pet is mistreated and neglected and we have filed complaints with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture (Bureau of Dog Law Enforcement), the local SPCA/Humane Law Enforcement, and other agencies, and are taking legal action to help ensure no other pet endures something like this. Please verify that any boarding facility you use is properly licensed, regularly inspected, and trained to handle medication administration and emergencies before leaving your animal in their care. I gave them a call, and they said I could walk in any time for a nail trim, so I took him almost immediately after I called! Unfortunately due to Covid restrictions, I could not go inside, but the owner (I believe) helped me out so much from outside. It was very quick and painless, and Spencer came out looking like a new man. As I got my wallet out to pay, the owner kindly said this first one would be on him (a nail trim is normally $15). I will absolutely be back here the next time Spencer needs a nail trim or any other grooming need solely because the owner was so kind to me. They've been in business for 19 years, so they know how to take care of their customers and pets! Definitely consider this place for your pets' grooming needs.

I couldn't differentiate between a puppy cut Vs regular cut or how I would like the hair on his face cut( umm..short) to if I wanted his teeth brushed( huh? Sure!) During our visit Mike proved to me extremely knowledgable, friendly & reassuring. He guided me through what might work best for my pup without being overtly aggressive. Sometimes, it is great to have someone help navigate thru unchartered territories. My pooch even got a complimentary nail trim while there. On the day of his grooming,post session,I came in to find a perfectly trimmed little pup who was too busy playing with the other dogs in the salon to even notice I hadn't been there all this time! Staff caught on camera kicking dogs…read more I've been going to dog stop monroeville for roughly a year now. I dropped my dog off today and went to work. I decided to watch my dog on camera 3 via their camera feed. I watched as a staff member kicked a dog and grabbed another by the neck and threw her. I immediately called and notified the front desk that we would be removing our dog and not returning. DO NOT bring your dogs here.

It is a clever play on the famous chef Wolfgang Puck. The name is actually perfect because the "bakery" section looks just like a high-end pastry shop for humans. They have tables stacked with decorated cookies and treats that look good enough to eat yourself. The store is bright and cheerful. It doesn't have that typical wet dog smell you find at some groomers. Sunday and Franco absolutely love it here. They dragged us right through the front door. The staff was incredibly friendly and treated the pups like royalty. Verdict: Two paws up from the grandpuppies. It is a fun place to spoil your pets with some gourmet snacks or a spa day.
