(Sorry!!) Everything went exceptional. I had a team of three: Jose G, Justin M, and Mike C and they literally went above and beyond what any mover has done before for me. I didn't lift a finger. In fact, when I tried to lift one, they stopped me and asked me ::in jest:: not to do their jobs :) Would highly recommend them for a corporate move.

Things were seemingly fine until the day of my move. 1. The two individuals sent to load my things into the ABF truck were 30 minutes late - and repeatedly tried to blame it on the staff of the building that I lived in. 2. At one point, they specifically told me that they would be finished in no later than one hour, and then proceeded to take an additional TWO AND ONE HALF hours to finish loading my truck. (Mind you, I moved out of a 790 sq. ft. 1-bedroom apartment - in an elevatory building.) 3. It is clear, but unverifiable, that many unnecessary breaks were taken during this move in order to get paid for additional hours. I am only one person and could not be everywhere at the same time. 4. One of them men was on the phone to a significant other multiple times during the move as well. 5. They also came unprepared - only having dollies, but nothing else. You are a RELOCATION company - doesn't it make sense to send your employees to a job prepared with items that perhaps the customer may not realize is necessary? Moving on to the loading of my items.... 1. The truck was loaded so poorly that when it arrived at my new location, the movers that opened the trucked were disgusted at what they saw. 2. All of the heavy items in the load were placed on top of lighter items, crushing all the boxes on the bottom, causing damage. 3. I also reminded the movers MULTIPLE times that my Tempur-pedic mattress was REQUIRED to lay flat in the truck to prevent damage - not only did they not pack the truck properly to accommodate this, they had to unpack/repack some of the truck because there was nowhere to put the mattress. After receiving help from the driver of the truck, they had to place the mattress on beams above all of my other things (which was ideal to begin with), however, the two people that were sent could barely lift the 153lb. mattress over their heads in order to place it up there - subsequently damaging my mattress and getting it quite dirty. 4. Many items were damaged due to neglect in loading - and when I communicated with this company, they informed me that basically, once the truck is loaded and leaves, they are no longer responsible - which also relays to me that they could care less if they damage their customer's items, and that their employees have no reason to respect the customer's items because they have found a way to skate responsibility. 5. The negligence in loading my items into the truck laid the groundwork for further damage of my belongings during transit. Furniture items placed standing on their end became damaged due to movement in transit; boxes were punctured; one of my televisions loaded upside-down (when the box is CLEARLY marked with arrows); wooden items scraped, crushed, broken; leather items damaged; even the cat tree looks intentionally damaged as one part was ripped completely off. The company that unloaded my items stated that it looked as though the individuals that loaded my truck were trying to damage my things - there are footprints and scuff marks on my safe, like it was thrown around on purpose. Using this company was an utter nightmare. Moving is stressful enough - moving cross-country is even worse - moving cross-country when you are a single, female, disabled veteran comes with it's own set of complications. I truly feel taken advantage of, and disrespected. I would never use this company, or recommend them to anyone that I may know. I can't even afford to replace the damaged items, or have them repaired. Thank you for reading.

I moved at the end of December 2025 from Manhattan to the Bronx. I obtained quotes from several…read moreprominent moving companies. I also asked my neighbors for suggestions. This was my 3rd move within the boroughs, my first time moving from a co-op to a co-op (if you know, you know the COI and insurance requirements).+ During the tight window at the end of the year. The quotes I received from larger, more well known moving companies were in the range of $1,500-$2,500 to move my studio apartment with a small discount. I am eternally grateful for my neighbor who recommended Zenith movers, I spoke with their senior consultant, Dominic Kostic over the phone. Unlike some of the other companies he did not insist on an in person or zoom walk through. We spoke about my furniture and rugs over the phone, I sent him the dimensions and furniture details via email and an approx. number of boxes. From our first conversation, there was a professionalism, and also a laid-back nature. He said, "hey if you're a few boxes over do not worry". Also, Zenith provides free wardrobe boxes on the day of your move included in your price. This is REALLY helpful as some of the other companies were telling me to use bin rental companies or purchase my own wardrobe boxes. I already had boxes I did not need the added hassle and expense. To have these day of wardrobe boxes was incredible. My longer/more delicate dresses were packed and unpacked into my new closet with such care by Dominic's team- it was as if they were packing their own clothes! Pricing: The total price for my studio move from Manhattan to the Bronx was $495- this included a small discount, perhaps from my neighbor referring me, though I found all of the companies I spoke to did offer a small discount. This price was 1/3 -1/5 of the other companies! Timing and responsiveness: Once I agreed to the quote, before I even put my card on file, Dominic had the COI completed and sent to the building I was leaving and the building I was moving to within TEN MINUTES! Communication: Dominic checked in with me a few days before the move, the day before the move and throughout move day to see how things were going. His amazing team of movers- Hassan, Alex and Roberto- maybe I got the dream team or maybe this is just THE COMPANY you want for your move! My movers: Hassan was the boss- I cannot say more positive things about him. He texted me 15 minutes before he arrived to my old apartment as Dominic said he would and they parked exactly as instructed. Hassan was SO professional, efficient, responsible with my belongings. He led his team really well, while also having a light heartedness and some time to practice french with me :) Hassan and his team. also did a great job interacting with the staff at my very large co-op - from the security, to the super, the doormen and porters. We were supposed to have the service elevator reserved for the move but as these things happen there was ongoing construction work and they kept letting construction teams up in the service elevator. Hassan handled it with care. I was stressing as the co-op I was moving into had a 4:30 pm move in cut off time, after which I would incur a hefty fine. Even with some holiday traffic, Hassan and his team were miraculously done by 4pm. Alex and Roberto were also incredible. They like Hassan were really professional and considerate. They handled all of my items with such care. I had several nonagenarian (90+ year old) neighbors in my old co-op and septuagenarian (70-79) year old neighbors in my new co-op. Some were trying to get the elevator, others were poking their head in to say hello or goodbye, and Hassan, Alex and Roberto were very kind to them and careful they did not injure themselves with the furniture. How individuals treat older adults is tremendously important to me, and Zenith movers and their team really showed their character. I have some photos to show how carefully they wrapped each of my items, they also never complained once, just kept asking if there was anything else I wanted, that there was room in the truck and thanking me when I offered them water ( a bare minimum!) When I had moved from Harlem to Manhattan, the moving company I used, which was priced 3x higher, when they came and saw my leather couch immediately complained at how heavy it looked. They also damaged my work desk and chair. Those were total non-issues with Zenith movers. Everything was carefully wrapped. When we arrived at my new apartment, the job was not done until they made sure every box, every rug, every piece of furniture was exactly where I wanted it. They hung my clothes from the wardrobe box up for me- all while new neighbors were poking their heads in to say hi! They worked SO EFFICIENTLY! I would turn to introduce myself to a new neighbor and turn back around astonished at what had been accomplished in such a short time. Zenith, Dominic, Hassan, Alex, Roberto- THANK YOU!

Using Zenith Moving group has been THE WORST and MOST STRESSFUL part of the entire moving process…read more The sales guy Mike who gave me my initial quote and went through the contract with me did not explain anything about the process to me. When the movers arrived they had a long list of items they will not take. Now I am scrambling to find these items among my boxes and am forced to pay for a separate uhaul and transport these items myself. Voiding the entire purpose of getting movers!!!!! If I was made aware that these items are not allowed I would not have hired movers. Secondly, the initial quote was $1900. Once the movers arrived I learned ALL ITEMS must be boxed up. It makes sense, but once again Mike the sales guy never told me this. So we got charged a ridiculous amount for one large box to be packed. We also got charged for them to wrap our furniture in blankets. IF I KNEW I WOULD HAVE WRAPPED THEM MYSELF and avoided the fee. Our quote quickly turned into $2700. Next, AFTER our stuff was loaded the guy asked us if our property will be accessible to an 18 wheeler. Our property is not. Great, another additional fee. Now our new price is $3300. Almost double what we got quoted originally. Furthermore they never explained to us that the moving truck does not arrive on a set date but rather any day 10 business days after you said you wanted it delivered. If I knew that from the beginning I would have told the sales guy Mike that that does not fit my schedule since I will be out of town and not used movers. No one told me this until I called and asked where my stuff is. While dealing with this company I have felt misled and lied to. They grossly misrepresent the service they provide and go out of their way to create sneaky ways to add extra charges. It is a disgraceful way of doing business. Zenith Group I hope you see this review, if not on Yelp then on another platform because I will be posting it any and every place I can.
