The problem is that I don't think they were really up for the customer service element, and nobody was really talking to me - but having said that I get that a lot.

If I could give a negative amount of stars, I would. My family and I were in the store at partridge…read morecreek November 14 and had to order shoes for my kids because they didn't have their sizes in stock. We never received a confirmation email for the order. The Wednesday after we received my daughter's shoes. December 5 I called the store to ask why we still hadn't received my son's shoes. I was initially told to call customer service, but then told (almost in the same breath) that they received them in store that day and would be shipped out the next day. Ten minutes later, I got a call from the store saying they were wrong and it wasn't our order they got, but someone else's. They again gave me the number for customer service. I called the number provided and it was a completely different company. I googled a customer service number and called that number. Talked to a lady who told me I would need to call back the next day because the store had already closed for the day and they needed to confirm with them what was going on with my order. Called again the next day and was told that shoe is no longer in stock. A refund was supposedly processed. I was told they cannot issue refunds to debit cards, which was my original form of payment, so I provided them a credit card number, as my only other options were to wait for a check or to drive out to the store and get my refund (the store is an hour away from my home). I was told 3-5 business days and the refund would post. Yesterday was 5 days and, you guessed it - no refund! I again called customer service and was told they tried to refund it to the original form of payment but couldn't because it's a debit card. I explained that I gave them a separate credit card number because I was told it couldn't be issued to a debit. They gave me some line about not keeping the original form of payment on file, so they couldn't possibly have tried to issue to that. But then I was told a refund was approved yesterday and a check would be sent in 7-10 business days, which now puts us out $100 for well over a month right before Xmas. They didn't even offer to overnight the check and of course the processing department for refunds doesn't take calls! This company has failed at every opportunity to provide the bare minimum of customer service. I will never buy anything from them again.

My trusty companion, Diablo (my Chihuahua) at my side. The MINUTE I walked into the store, I was greeted by a Sales Associate who proceeded to try to get me to sign up for a BR credit card. This is just in poor taste. I haven't even looked at a single item - and BR is trying to get me to sign up for one of their 20% interest cards. It completely turned me off of the entire experience, and I had no desire to purchase anything at that point. Alas, I still needed a dress for a wedding and picked up a few selections to make my way to the dressing room. The dresses I tried on all fit akwardly. They were HUGE in comparison to the sizing on the tag, and were extremely large in the chest (I am average build, so this should not an issue). $200 for a linen sheath that would require basketball breasts to fill out is just simply ridiculous. My advice to BR? (And Gap, and ON) -- spend more time making sure your clothes fit actual bodies and less time hocking credit cards to your customers in this piss poor economy.

Thank You So Much…read more It's been awhile since I've upgraded my wardrobe but I really needed some suits and dress shoes. After checking a few places online I headed for Men's Wearhouse to "just take a look". I told a clerk what I wanted to see. He disappeared and returned with a lady named Nicole. She was very attentive, listened well and went to work. In no time she had me in two new suits in front of their tailor. I have trouble finding shoes because of swelling and diabetes, For three years I have worn and repaired the same dress shoes UNTIL Nicole solved my dilemma. She found a pair of dress slip-ons that have a lot of "give" when putting them on and are fully cushioned from toe to heel and around the ankles. They are so comfortable and flexible. In less than an hour I had painlessly dropped a grand. I'm very pleased and I recommend them.

Bottom line is I should have taken the advice of the people at Men's Wearhouse and bought my suit someplace else. I guess for the money I spent, I should have received more than a bunch of apologies.
