We started with the crispy calamari that was actually soggy and the appetizer sampler. I liked the curry puff the best. I had the honey ginger duck that was pretty good. My co-worker had the drunken noodles that was bland. I tried it too and told him to add soy sauce, which helped. Overall, the my food was good. read more

My only critique are the prices, top shelf sushi rolls are over $20/each. My meal tonight of 2 rolls, miso soup, seaweed salad and one draft beer was $60, so be prepared. read more

My father and I had a sushi lunch here while passing through Wyoming and were extremely pleased with both the food and the ambiance. The sushi chef was a mere 17 years old, but prepared plates with some of the best flavor and presentation I've ever tasted or seen. My father agreed and he has traveled to Japan and the rest of Asia for business over 20 times in his life. The nigiri was very fresh (especially considering we were over 1000 miles from the Pacific Ocean), and the rolls were savory and amazing. I'd love to get the recipe for their spicy mayo (I recommend trying at least 1 roll that uses it). Our server was very nice and very much on top of our refills and needs. I really liked the decor too! All in all, we were shocked to find such an amazing sushi place in such a meat and potatoes state like Wyoming and wish this place was closer to our one of our homes! Previously I have had sushi and been sorely disappointed. I decided to stick with other types of food and was pleased. I enjoyed the salad rolls with peanut sauce. I had the Korean bibimbap. It was good. Waitress was nice and accommodated requests. Nice experience. I will post a picture. read more

After a couple visits to this restaurant, I have learned that I thoroughly enjoy the food which includes the sushi, noodle dishes and classic Thai dishes with a more general audience (Americanized?) appeal. However, the service left something to be desired. It seems simply it took several minutes on a slower Sunday to get seated and then even longer times to wait for water and to wait for our sushi (which we got after a couple other tables who came in after us). I love the service especially, took my daughter there and she threw the biggest fit, as we were getting up to leave the owner came up and said you don't have to leave. Food is really yummy! The curry is really creamy and tastes great. Average meals are $14-$20. This is for dinner but lunch is still just as expensive. The lunch "box" gives you a variety but it doesn't fill you up. Overall good, but pricey. read more

This restaurant is a definate win. They serve the hot food hot, and the service is consistantly good. I've eaten there about twenty times in the last 12 months and only had one bad service experience. This establish is a nice find in the middle of a rough cowboy and oil town. The bar is well stocked with everything, and it's much closer than driving to Denver. I will continue to spend my money there. read more

I gotta give this place props! Super impressed. I'm a food snob with gluten intolerance- I know I can be a pain to order. I called in to place a pickup order and of course had lots of annoying questions but server was patient and helpful. Guided me to a few options, ALL of which turned out to be awesome! Dsasumo is still the best one for quality of food, service and atmosphere. The food prices are reasonable, but their drinks are on the pricey side, especially for Casper. Dsasumo is a pretty good place to eat. Japanese bentos for lunch, Thai entrees, and even a pretty respectable sushi bar. Prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is nice and comfortable (although acoustics are not great and it can seem loud). What keeps it from 4 stars? The wait staff is consistently poor. While they are nice, they confuse orders, are not attentive, and are very slow. In a place like Casper, options are limited, so I am sure I will be back, but only when I want Thai food (the best in town). Otherwise, for sushi there are other really good options. read more
