Cute little diner vibe restaurant with delicious sandwiches (husband had special fried chicken Caesar on a croissant) and wraps (I had falafel wrap with hummus/lettuce/pickles with a side of whipped feta)! Food was a little less than average. They offer a beef and lamb mixture that comes pre-cooked whereas a better restaurant would have a beef roast and a lamb roast cooking on spits. The other food dishes seem contrived. Its very casual. Prices are r reasonable and reflect the quality of the food. I know the owner tries very hard to please everyone and her baklava is excellent. Sometimes you find special places and sometimes special places find you...I stopped in to Casper for an overnight on my road trip. Looked up food near me and Sweet Zoey was a 3 minute walk from my Airbnb. I had been craving some Mediterranean food too, so this was all working out famously..I ordered online for pickup and arrived just as the woman at the counter , unfortunately I didn't catch her name, was finishing packing it up. She greeted me with the warmest, most genuine smile, was super kind, and personable. The space was immaculately clean and pretty much adorable. I ordered the appetizer sampler with falafel, dolmas, tzatziki and naan; the falafel was fried crisp, tzatziki had legit chunks of cucumber in it which I love, and the naan was absolutely ideal soft and warm. The burrata salad is what dreams are made of...a robust pesto topped with fresh spring mix, crunchy pistachios sweet impeccably ripe cherry tomato medley, generously drizzled with balsamic reduction and a giant burrata stuffed down in the center. Wasn't bad. Wasn't the best. The falafel is dense like a hush puppy and very mild in flavor. Hummus was very bland. The sandwich hubby had was flavorful. Had a gyro, and it was great. They make their own pita bread. It was so perfectly soft and chewy. The service was also great. I came in alone, and had plans afterward. I was a bit worried about being late for said plans, given it's a regular restaurant and not fast casual. There were only 2 other people there, so I bit the bullet. The waitress was very prompt and super nice. I was in and out of there quickly, without me saying a word about being in a bit of a rush. The adventure to find Sweet Zoey was quite an interesting one. Apparently the address in yelp took us to the old location. They are now moved, right next to Bustard funeral homes. I forgot the name of the street (just google Bustard funeral homes). Anyway, we were pleased with how clean this establishment was. Our waitress was so sweet and very accommodating. We loved everything we ordered (kebab salad, tabbouleh salad plate, lentil soup , falafel ball and their boba tea) shout out to the perfect chewy boba! We ate there this past weekend. It was so so. I had the lamb shank. Extremely bland maybe it was intended to be that way. My daughter had a Gyro with the euro meat that you can buy that is already sliced. My lamb shank came with steamed frozen vegetables for $26 dollars.
