I noticed they do not have any reviews on here, so thought I take my time writing a review for them since they have served me twice already. I had John for both times because he was happened to be in town, and I had a great experience with him the 1st time, so I requested for his help again. He travels to LA for fun, so if you need service in LA, feel free to ask him in advance; I did that for my 2nd time.
I normally go rent a truck through U-Haul, and do it myself to save myself from labor expenses. It was such a headache and being small and weak took us (my friends and I) forever. A friend refer me to asking D's Moving, so I did.
He helped move my stuff in my studio to my new studio a few miles away. Everything was small other than my fridge, my bed, my long shelf and a few heavy luggages. My new studio was tricky because they have to go upstairs since I lived on the 2nd floor. Not only that, the streets was very small, so they have to move the truck out of the way when cars are passing by. I am glad the stairs did not trouble them to carry everything up. Good experiences with them since I finished my moving in about a hour.
2nd time, I have to move a couple big 2-door fridges and big prep-fridges from my shop to my storage. Long drive especially with LA traffic. Everything went smoothly and professional, even though there was a few small curbs and steps to get my fridge units to my storage. I was impressed with a few tricks they came up with on the spot to move the fridges where I wanted to be at.
Even though I am picky, but they were happy to completed my requests and made sure I was satisfied. Overall, good company and experiences in helping me move twice. Definitely looking forward to use their moving service again and treat them to a good meal afterwards if they have the time.
P.S. If it is your 1st time having service with them, ask about their $50 discount. Everything helps especially for college students. ^_^ read more
