Great place for a haircut. Not a salon but a great barber shop for men and boys. Been going there for 10 years.

The quality and cost for a haircut is well worth it. It's simple without all the "bells & whistles" at some location. I love the way haircut should be. Just a cut with scissors and clippers. I don't need a massage or special shampoo. Just a simple cut. I've gone to barbershops which have become an expensive process just for a haircut. If I was local I would come here more often but I'm 2 1/2 hrs away. I wish barbershops were still like this. read more

This is a classic case of you get what you pay for... A $7 haircut here is so bad that you are better off going home and buzzing your head in the bathroom. Which is exactly what I did after leaving this "barber shop". I have never payed for such a terrible haircut. Save your money and go somewhere else, or save your money and spend an extra 20 bucks to buy some clippers from the closest Walmart that will give you a better result. read more

This is a Men's Barbershop, its a simple setup. The barber has a chair for the Men & a race car chair for the boys. You sit down & wait for your turn while the Barber talks with you about Life/Women/Cars or whatever. You get called up, tell him how you want it cut & you give him a tip when he remembers your name or your style. Pay with cash & go back to your day. Love this guy! Fair prices, also good with my kids. Now, this is a no frills classic barber. While waiting, which happens almost never, patrons comment on the news or a topic. Honestly, his stand alone barber shack is pretty dumpy. To me, it adds to the nostalgia. Cash is the preferred currency. Which is probably the case with most of his customers. I went to D's a few times. Yes you can get a haircut for $13. But then while waiting while 3 other rather dirty individuals to got haIrcuts I observed that HE DOES NOT SANITIZE HIS CLIPPERS BETWEEN CUSTOMERS as Washington State law requires. From Chapter 18.16 RCW Cosmetologists, barbers, and manicurists (9) Disinfecting electrical tools and implements. Electrical tools and implements must be disinfected after service on each client in the following order: (a) Remove hair and/or foreign matter; (b) Disinfect with an EPA hospital grade disinfectant specifically made for electrical tools and implements. One of the place which I admire due to its location not part of any split mall or corner shop but just on the road and visible from distance.Quiet an airy place with one chair for adult and another for kid but only one barber but he is efficient and very gentle in greeting and managing folks in queue.I think most of it was repeat customers coming back.Overall good experience would surely visit if around Bothell area.BTW the cost for adult haircut is $15 and for kids its $12 and even they have beard shaving option as well. read more

No. Inside this hole in the wall building is a super friendly, hard-working guy who will remember your name, give your kid a lollypop after a turn in the car chair, catch you up on the latest in Bothell football chatter, and give you a solid haircut for a fair price. I don't carry cash either, but more than once, he's spotted me when I realized I had to grab some. Viet is a good dude and this is the kind of place I like to support. Vietnam is a kind and professional barber. Very comfortable to talk with or just sit and get hair cut. Price is excellent and he is very efficient without being rushed. Singles and families alike seem to be regulars. I have seen wives bring their husbands in and mothers bring their daughters and sons. Kid-friendly chair is a bonus (but doesn't apply to me ;-)). Great haircut with Jessica. I believe she works Wed thru Sat or Sun. Sometimes they close early without notice. $7 haircut. Great value. Must be somewhat picky with who you get. They have never answered phone. Just walk in and grab an open, attended chair, or sit on side seats until it is your turn. If you want a specific person just let them know you are waiting for them. Have been going here off an on for a couple years. D actually remembers my cut each time! He's pleasant, professional, and knows how to wield that electric razor. His price for a men's cut is just a few bucks on the high side for the basic "high and tight" I get every 3ish weeks, especially with Cee's Barber and their $7 cuts just 100ft down the road. I'd rather he price them lower so I could tip him more. However, you can't beat the consistency he provides - I know I will walk out with exactly the haircut I want. 4.5/5 stars, rounded up to 5. read more

This is a great place for a quality haircut and good conversation. Its a no-frills barber shop, but I have honestly never received a better cut, with more attention to detail, than I have here. There may be a bit of a wait at certain times of day but i was told that wed afternoons are slow and I've been able to get in with virtually no wait time. He also has a few toys and books on hand for kids, and a car chair they can sit in while they get their cut; my boys love it. This guy does good work. read more

Not a recent review as I went there in the past for a haircut. Nothing fancy, just a typical crew cut. Easy. But the barber did not properly blend it in, leaving a huge lump of hair on one side. I didn't catch it before leaving, but it was pretty clear to see as soon as I got home. The top was also not cut uniformly and looked messy. Also, no neck shave? I know the price is cheap, but there are true barbers in the area in the same price range that do a better job and will shave the back of the neck, sideburn, around the ears, etc. Lastly, he doesn't accept credit cards. I don't know if this is to "keep prices down" or for other reasons, but it's an inconvenience. I personally don't keep cash on me, so having to make a stop to get some is just the last reason I won't ever be going back. read more

Took both my young sons for haircuts recently, and it was a good experience for them. For the younger one, the car chair was a hit. And they both enjoyed the lollipops afterwards. I was happy with the service and their cuts. They've been asking when they can go again!
