I drive down there and waste my gas and time with the expectation of a hair cut. He then asked me to reschedule and come back later and walked out the door, on which I did reschedule and then he still was not there. He did not consider my time gas nor their reputation to me I was just another over priced hair cut to pay for his daily expenses nothing more or less. and I ended up getting a haircut from a complete different barber which I was not happy with. This was back in 3/21/25 I haven't been back since. Ended paying 45$ for a unpleasant experience 1/5 service.

Upon entering I felt at home and sensed a very positive and creative energy right off the bat. The space felt very comfortable as I was enjoying the music while waiting for my appointment. My stylist Shep and all of the staff took time to greet me upon arrival and were very cordial. In hindsight I was very fortunate to be able to schedule my first appointment with Shep. He was very personable, approachable, and really took time to listen and ask me what I was envisioning for my haircut. I told Shep that I didn't have a very clear idea of what I wanted and asked if He could just follow his intuition and creative vision. I'm really glad that I handed him the keys of the car so to speak. Shep didn't seem rushed or wanting to buzz me and get me out the door. It was evident that He approached his craft with a creative conviction and aesthetic like a painter or musician. Needless to say, I was very happy with my haircut. It really exceeded my expectations. My wife loved the haircut immediately at first sight which says quite a lot about the quality and craftsmanship of Shep's work. Bottom line, I very pleased with my experience and I can attest that all the positive reviews true! I highly recommend booking your next appointment straightaway at Tha Fade Lounge. It is imperative that Barbers listen to their customers! I told the barber that I wanted him to take away the flyaways and trim the mustache off my lip. That's it.
