When we first reached out, we were actually just considering getting our wall heater replaced, as it had a gas leak. Jeffrey came out to check out the system and gave us a quote the same day - he didn't push any additional services on us and the pricing and timeline was super reasonable. After some discussion, we decided it might be a better use of our time and money to just have a whole system installed, since it was something we were planning for the future anyway. Jeffrey came back out to create a plan and give us an updated quote, along with suggestions of what was/wasn't possible with our home structure. He and his team began their work within a few days of our quote - they spent about 2.5 weeks overall in the home and were incredibly efficient, respectful, and communicative throughout the whole process. There were a few unexpected surprises while cutting through the walls/ceilings that I could tell were frustrating, as it set them back and forced them to reroute, but they never complained and they just kept working through the issues. When they were finished, Jeffrey came back out to thoroughly check over the work that had been done and had his guys come out one last time to fix any tiny issues they had missed. Since the installation, he has continued to quickly respond to any questions we've had and will also come back in the Spring to properly turn on the air conditioning unit (the system was installed in the dead of winter). We really couldn't be happier with our system and are so happy we have an evenly heated home and no more window AC units!!

AC died in the middle of the night. They came out the next morning and said my unit was too old…read morerepair (just over 20 years old), while ripping out something from the power box and seemingly breaking a component in there. They said they could try to do a repair for about $1.3k but that they couldn't guarantee the repair would be effective because of the condenser. They then tried to sell me on their highest end heat-pump for about $24k, which was too much for our needs, since our furnace was also functional. We ended up choosing a basic AC replacement for around $9k. They were able to install the new unit two days later. However, on the day of the install, they saw some surface level rust on the furnace heat exchanger and tried to get me to replace it for an additional $4k. When I said no, they backed off and recommended a CO alarm (which we already have). It felt like I was being heavily taken advantage of because I was in a dire situation. The installation went fine, but my experience of being pressured and hard sold to during the process made it feel like I was being milked for every penny they could get out of me. Take this as a precaution to check your HVAC AC/furnace/heat pump regularly, and get multiple quotes before deciding on work. If you go with this company, they will seemingly do an effective job, but they will try their best to get as much money out of you as possible.

So yes, had I gone with that company, it would have cost me $2300. I then got no less than 10 phone calls saying "please give us a call so we can talk about your situation. Some called more than once. Lakeland Heating and Cooling (Jason) was nothing like that... $1270 flat rate to replace the water heater. Yes, thats how he replied in his email.. as I requested. I called everywhere, and the demand was too great for most places. However, Bob picked up right away, and while he was on the move he scheduled an appointment with us the next day. Jessy and Carlos showed up to the appointment, and they were total pros. Immediately pinpointed the issue, and cleaned both our AC units on top of the repair to prevent any further issues. They were also friendly and cool the entire time, despite crazy temperatures and it being the end of no doubt a long day for them. Jessy offered some advice on another HVAC question I had, and Carlos even helped my neighbor out with a stuck door--what a guy. Businesses like Super Heat make our neighborhood great. At best, they're incompetent, at worst, they're frauds. All Temp installed a new AC at my house 2…read moreyears ago. Then, earlier this August, the AC stopped working, and an All Temp tech came out to investigate. Below are the events that unfolded. Aug 5 - Tech comes to house and identifies part that needs to be replaced Aug 10 - Parts person at All Temp had not ordered part because he was unable to find the part number. My husband found the part number in about 5 minutes by looking at the manual for our machine online. After we provided the part number to All Temp, they finally ordered the part (which they said needed to be shipped from China) Aug 13 - I called the sales person who sold us our unit and asked him to help us because we had not received an update on when the part would be received despite calling numerous times. He looked into it and said they would order us a whole new compressor instead of just the individual part of the compressor, and that would be received in their office "soon." Aug 17 - I called the sales person again because we had not received an update. He said the compressor would be in soon. Aug 19 - Received a call from All Temp saying they received our compressor, and they would come and install it the next day. I told them we were out of town, but our neighbor would be there. Aug 20 - A tech came to install the compressor. We received a call when they were done and the AC was working, and we were asked to pay $1,690. This was the estimate quoted to us on Aug 19 when they said they had the part. Aug 22 - Our neighbor informed us when we got home that All Temp DID NOT INSTALL A COMPRESSOR! We called and asked them what they actually did and why we were charged $1,690. As of Aug 26th, they still have not provided an answer. All Temp 1) misdiagnosed the issue with the AC, needlessly causing us to be without AC for over 2 weeks while we waited for a part we didn't need and 2) charged us for services they didn't perform.

Although this wasn't the solution we originally wanted, we accepted it and paid the invoice in full. Initially, Jordan gave us the impression that he was knowledgeable, trustworthy, and would stand behind the company's work. I genuinely thought we had found an HVAC company we could rely on for years to come. Because the installation was completed outside of the cooling season, we couldn't fully test the air conditioning until the weather became warm enough to use it. When we finally turned on the AC, neither unit worked properly. Jordan came out and discovered that one Ecobee thermostat had been miswired. He corrected the wiring, and that unit began working. However, he could not determine why the second unit was not working. Before leaving, he told us he would return within a day or two to continue troubleshooting. It has now been more than a week. We have called the company's call center multiple times, and every time we are told our message will be forwarded and someone will call us back. Despite our repeated attempts, we have never received a callback or been able to schedule the promised follow-up visit. We even asked to speak with a manager or another owner, but were told that information could not be provided. What disappoints me most is not that there were installation issues--those can happen on any project. It's what happened afterward. Once the final payment was made, it became nearly impossible to get anyone to respond or honor the follow-up that was promised. A warranty only has value if a company responds when customers need service. I truly wanted this company to be our long-term HVAC contractor. Instead, based on my experience, I was left with an unresolved HVAC issue, repeated unanswered service requests, and the feeling that the level of customer support changed after payment was received.
