At the beginning of 2020 I picked up an 800 dollar sweater I got from Nieman Marcus and it was shrunk so small the bottom of it wouldn't go past my belly button. Could barely get it on or over my arms. When I took it back and said they clearly washed it instead of dry cleaned it, or did something else to it, they said they would put it in their stretch machine. I said I would still like to talk to the owner about this and they said I would get a call from the owner and I never did. Well then Covid hit and then I got stuck overseas as well so I couldn't pick it up until early fall. I finally got back, tried it on, and it was still two sizes too small and they said too much time had passed. I reminded them that the situation was remedied in time, it was already put through the stretcher within days of them shrinking it, I just couldn't pick it up until later because of Covid and being stuck overseas. They told me the owner would definitely call me and I have never received a call. I was going to go back in there and complain but now I'm just going to have to deal with the fact that they ruined an $800 sweater and have no care to fix it. I'll be telling all my friends who use this place to beware. What they did was just plain wrong. Very unfortunate and it really angers me.

Water Mold Fire Restoration saved our house from likely thousands of dollars of damage because they…read moreacted quickly and were able to come assist with the damage the day after winter storm Uri in February 2021. I had contacted multiple water remediation companies the morning after our pipes burst and the kitchen flooded and WMF Restoration was the only company who was not only available, but could help immediately, which was crucial to mitigating water damage (mold can begin setting in within days of a flood, so timing was everything). I was getting calls from other water remediation companies weeks after the storm letting me know that I was still on their waiting list for service because we were only one of thousands of households who needed help in Texas following the winter storm of the century. I don't even want to think about how much we would have lost had WMF Restoration had not been available when they were. Michael Herrera was our primary contact and he was the picture of professionalism. In addition to his kindness, compassion, and patience when dealing with my frazzled nerves and endless questions, he was always prompt, very knowledgeable, and thorough in his work. He and his crew worked around the clock in those days and weeks following the storm and were attending to much bigger disasters than ours in terms of damage, yet they never made us feel as though our problems were any less important. I sincerely hope I never need their services again, but if I do have a situation that needs their help and expertise, I will always call WMF Restoration first.

I called this group and they were able to get an estimate done within 24 hours and get started super quickly even though it was around the holidays. They gave daily updates and got everything done ahead of schedule. They were always responsive and stand behind their work in the event your mold test afterwards doesn't pass. Highly recommend in the event you need specialists.

The price was too much since materials are super expensive. Got a bid from couple fence project and Jose's quote was reasonable. I was only expecting the fence to be painted, he went above and beyond to also painted the hinge and locks so my entire fence looks real good. Thank you for the nice work and would highly recommend him to anyone.

I really appreciated the work Dogan and his team did for my home!…read more I requested multiple quotes when making a determination on home projects I wanted to be taken on. As a female homeowner, I sometimes run into challenges with companies not taking me seriously or overcharging me for services. Dogan did not give me that impression at all, and I can say I am happy with the work that him and his team did! Dogan and his team were kind and helpful. He did not try to upsell me for the work he was performing, and he was very diligent with ensuring that I was comfortable with the work that was being done. They took their time in properly making the repairs around my home. I asked him to work on multiple projects around my home, such as: 1. Exterior wood replacement, repair and paint (multiple areas) 2. Backyard gate repair 3. Garage weather stripping I felt that he was incredibly reasonable for the work him and his team performed, and he was also incredibly responsive to my messages (which I immensely appreciated). He was communicative, which is something that is super important to me, and he seemed to genuinely want to help me. I can provide an updated review to determine if the work his team performed lasts, but I am currently happy with his work, and would definitely reach out to Dogan and his team again for any other future projects! Thank you so much, Dogan!

Absolute trash service. They came out to look at my dishwasher. It took three hours for them to…read moretell me there was a leak. They fixed it and informed me that my dishwasher needed an additional part, that they would order it and call me with the cost and date. They never did. They made me call them, and I was told that the manager (who has never seen my dishwasher) made a note that I needed to replace the unit. The reasoning? They can't order a simple replacement part. If that were true (it isn't), why in the hell wouldn't they call me?! The answer is that I no longer represented a profit for their company. Now I have to start over with a new company, and I haven't had a working dishwasher in over a week. Just look elsewhere. These people don't deserve your business.

Unethical pricing, poor communication, and misleading repair practices…read more I was charged over $700 for a refrigerator repair that failed almost immediately. The company later tried to charge another $1,100 -- including a 115% markup on a part that wasn't even defective. An independent, factory-authorized technician confirmed that my refrigerator is working fine and that the original diagnosis (claiming four failed parts at once) was completely implausible. They also refuse to include part numbers or details in quotes unless you specifically demand them -- a clear lack of transparency that misleads customers. I've opened a dispute with my bank and reported this to KitchenAid and the Texas Attorney General's Office. Be very cautious before doing business with this company.

When I wrote this review I mistakenly thought the pricing was $700 for a regular service. In…read morereality this quote not correct on two levels first it was actually $620 not $700 . And secondly it was for, as the reply from the vendor states correctly, a deep clean not a recurring cleaning every month so the comment I made about purposely inflating the cost and not wanting the work was a mistake on my part. As it turned out their quote was only $140 higher than the company we went with. Their monthly quote was about $150 higher than the company we went with. These differences most likely have to do with their fixed costs of doing the job to their standards. I apologize to Cotton Brothers for my mistake. I am revising the review rating to four stars but as you can see it still shows 5 stars. And here's why: They still lose a star for their higher prices in a competitive business. That said I am also adding back that fifth star because they took the time and followed up, had kept their quote and if we weren't on a strict budget would most likely have accepted this offer just because they sincerely want to grow their business, have the confidence to push back and have the facts to back it up. This points to a company you can trust. Hard to come by in this wild north Texas market. JCG
