Our apartment was flooded and had severe water damage. DryFast was hired by our landlord to remediate since they had such high Yelp reviews. Initially during the construction, they were not adhering to timelines agreed upon until further pressure was applied threatening their payout. Granted our landlord is also super flakey and unreliable so who knows where the real problem and disconnect. But the real headache started after the repairs were "completed." They left behind a whole slew of issues for our apartment. 1. Bathroom racks were not put back in the right place in the walls, for example, a long rack was put where a shorter one should've been so now the door doesn't open all the way. 2. Several doors that have been newly installed are sagging and not leveled. 3. The BIGGEST problem are the floorboards. They are lifted up and uneven on several spots. When you step on the areas, the floorboards move up and down and is now a tripping hazard. It's also progressing to other parts of the apartments and getting more severe. 4. They were also very sloppy with cleanup. There are so much of remaining paint splatters all the over the place, on things like bathroom floors and kitchen counters. The cleanup was a total joke. Think twice before deciding to go with them! This is a sloppy operation that does a half hearted job. The one star is only because the restoration service manager was professional and honest about the timeline after we were finally able to talk to someone. read more

Amazing! Orlando and his team are fantastic. They took amazing care when my bedroom flooded during last seasons storms. It basically rained in my bedroom over and over with each wave of the deluges we experienced. They came in and immediately began to draw out the moisture with equipment and fans. Orlando and his team had to carefully cut a hole in the ceiling for an inspection and the dry out and they totally protected the furniture and managed to keep the process as contained and livable for me. Really kind. Once they repaired the ceiling, and painted, it looks as if nothing ever happened. Orlando checked in almost daily until the job was completed and the problem was solved. The bid came in overpriced but they promised fast turn around. The job was suppose to take 6 weeks, but it was completed in 3 months - all along the way it was riddled with botched work they were forced to redo. They failed to secure permits properly and they filed at completing the permit process with the City of San Francisco, which meant I needed to finish it for them. If you visit their webpage on Wayback Machine you can see how many staff members have changed over the last year, I am sure there is a reason for all of that change. The sewer pipe for my building backed up and I called DryFast on a Friday afternoon to schedule an appointment to estimate clean-up. Unfortunately, the earliest time available didn't work with my schedule, so I asked if I could confirm the time with another resident in the building and email DryFast the confirmation. They said, yep, just email their customer service account. I sent in the confirmation to that email about 20 minutes after hanging up. No one responded to my confirmation email, and no one showed up at the appointed time. I call back and am informed by the office manager she usually books appointments but because she was out of the office Friday, this one must have fallen through the cracks. We reschedule, and again I need to confirm with another resident so I ask the office manager to reply to the email chain so we all have visibility. We confirm the time for Wednesday that week. Again, no show. Two dropped appointments forces me to give a 1 star rating. Hopefully they look at their booking process, but there is no way I would recommend this business based on my experience. read more

Terrible service. Technician came out to look at the mold damage, not even bending down to look closely, he said that he needs to cut out the wall and treat the mold - generic procedure. He said he'd have his office send me the estimate and call me to schedule an appointment. No one sent me an estimate or called for several days. Then I called myself, the girl on the phone didn't know what was going on she said that the technician was supposed to write out the estimate himself and she would contact him immediately and get back to me. The reason i called this company was more because they offered cleaning carpets using only Green Products. Also, they apparently work on Sundays which is something unheard of but good if you can only spare weekends. I negotiated $100 to clean carpets in 2 rooms, which i initially think was reasonable. For some reason when the guy was supposed to show up, i get a call from him 30 minutes late confirming my address. The address he apparently had was for South San Francisco, whereas i had made sure while getting the appointment they had got it correct. That just makes for late arrival. When it come to the quality of job done, I'm highly unsatisfied. For some reason i don't think green products works as effectively. I still have a few minor stains on the carpets after it all drying up. I'm not sure if i will use the services of this company again. read more

We had an emergency flood at our salon in San Francisco. We called Dry Fast late on a Sunday evening, and they were on the scene within an hour with all the equipment you could ever need to suck up 4" of water off the floor as fast as possible! They put holes in all the right places to drain the water from the ceiling and floor. They then placed commercial strength fans everywhere needed to properly dry out the wet spots in the drywall so that no mold would occur. Jaime Ceja took great care of us and update us everyday on the progress of how things were drying out, and when they would be able to pull the fans out. We could not ask for better service! Our office experienced a flood several weeks ago and Orlando Bueno from Dryfast showed up and removed over 120 gallons of water and we were back in business within 4 hours. Orlando came back several times to ensure the office was drying at a proper rate. He was even willing to come by on Saturdays and Sundays to ensure everything was going smoothly.
