I got quotes from other places that included drywall repair but they were a few days out. So I decided to go with Green Planet because they could start immediately. The only thing was that their quote didn't include drywall repair. I was told it's another dept and I would need to get a quote or I can find my own handyman. Ok how much can it be? Well after the water damage was resolved, I started getting quotes for drywall repair. I found out it was very expensive. They didn't provide a clear order of services and multiple people seemed to be coordinating the clean up but all insufficiently. We had to repeated call the office to get updates and know when people were coming into the house. The cleaning crew did a good job on the attic insulation and vent cleaning. But we had to call the powers washers back because they missed a few spots outside. They had the main interior cleaners come before all the other work was done so we had to ask them to reclean the house (we found a lot of dirt and footprints in the house). There was mismanagement of the workers by the company. Our main agent couldn't make it and the replacement they sent to pick up our check straight up lied and ghosted us. Daniel the owner is extremely responsive and super helpful. We ran into several issues that caused the project to be delayed a bit. Daniel and the crew were super flexible. The only issue we had was our window coverings were put back on but backwards and lots of dust in the hallway and living room that was not cleaned up. 770 Water Damage & Restoration was brought into my home for a project, and it has been an absolute…read morenightmare. They put down a thin sheet of paper as protection over Laminate floor and insisting that it was sufficient. Scaffolding along with other heavy machinery was brought in and for some reasons they removed the wheels. Off course laminate floor was scratched in multiple places. There is even a hole in one place. I showed the damage to field supervisor and he said that it's not their damage. I called the place and talked to production supervisor and first thing out of his mouth was "we didn't damage the floor." Some of the damage floor boards are in places where there is always a sectional and a rug. If you look at the floor, you can see that damage is only in the work area, rest of the floor is completely spot free. If you use this company, be prepared for them to damage your home and refuse to fix it. I am currently moving forward with a formal consumer complaint through the California Contractors State License Board and filing a property damage claim against their surety bond. Save yourself the headache and hire a company that actually respects your property and takes responsibility for their actions.
