At my most recent appt, I arrived 15 min early. I was greeted and taken back right away. They also offer a drink during your service. My blowout took less time than I expected. I came in to get my hair blown out and styled for a wedding and I had an amazing experience. I was unsure what I wanted and the stylist helped me pick out a pretty ponytail with face framing pieces and waves. My best friend surprised me with a blow dry at the this Dry bar location and what a treat! First of all I cannot believe I didn't a dry bar sooner. The convenience,the variety of blow outs and the pricing are all perfect! The older woman at the front desk wasn't the most welcoming and nothing like my stylist who was sweet,accommodating and attentive (wish I remembered her name) . I was offered something to drink (of course a glass of champagne is what I got) as I decided which blow out I wanted and was then escorted to the back to get my hair washed and prepped. This location has a boutique feel and the products used to wash my hair smelled amazing! I decided on the Mai Tai blow out and let me just say it lasted through the night of birthday festivities. I love to treat myself to blowouts on occasion... okay maybe once or twice a month. My hair is super thick and I just do not have the energy to spend hours blowdrying it myself. Visiting Drybar always feels like a luxury experience from the moment you walk in. They offer you a beverage (I always go for the bubbly) and then give you the menu book of different blowout hairstyles to choose from. Once you choose a style, you head back to the shampoo room for soothing hair wash -- my favorite part. Their signature blowout is the Straight Up if you just want a smooth & straight style. I usually go for the Mai Tai which is beachy waves. When I have an event and want something a little bigger with more bounce, I get the Southern Comfort which is so fun with lots of volume. The Southern Comfort always lasts the longest for me. They use their signature products and tools that are also available for purchase if you want to give it a go yourself. I also love that they always have a nostalgic rom-com playing on the TVs to watch while you get your hair done. The whole experience takes about an hour and I always leave feeling refreshed. read more

I scurried in, frantic & in desperate need of a fresh wash & blow dry. The humidity was winning the fight with my hair until I discovered liquid glass (up charge- but WORTH IT). Caitlyn was amazing and my hair is still runway smooth and light three days later. The girl at the front desk was super helpful and greeted me with a warm smile. The salon is so clean it looks like it's ready for a magazine shoot. No burning hair smell or hairballs scattered. I was impressed that she cleaned the hair wash basin with sanitizer immediately after washing my hair. This experience sold me to the membership. I look forward to returning again soon. I'm SO thrilled about this brand new location. On top of being sparkling and clean, it's also in a super convenient spot just up the street from The Glass Knife. I've already been in several times for a dry style for a night out. It's reasonably priced, fast service, and each time I have been so pleased with the style. One of my fav parts about the experience is the products they use. They all smell so good and are designed to be layered. I need to buy some of their heat protectant next time I'm there! I also love that there are a range of options ranging from a $35 dry style all the way up to a monthly membership that comes with one or two blow outs. I had a great experience at the DryBar. I have never gone to a place like this. I've only gone to a regular salon for haircuts and styles. My stylist was Anne. She was very friendly. She helped me pick my style from their style book, and she reviewed add-ons and products that best met my needs. I got my hair shampooed and I opted for a deep moisturizing rinse to help my hair get some life back. She then took her time blowing my hair dry followed by styling with all DryBar products. I have one of the tools at home, but I am not as skilled as the professionals. They also offer a drink--you can have a mimosa, water, sparkling water, etc. My stylist did a great job. I got my hair done for the first time here (it just opened this month). The stylists were very friendly. The membership is a decent price. I ended up choosing the 2 blowouts-a-month. The blowouts roll over and they included todays service into my monthly membership. I was offered water or champagne, the shampoo station was sanitized before and after I got in the chair, and the entire service took about an hour and 15 minutes. This is actually really good time for a person like me. My hair is thick, unruly, and long, so I was happy with the 75 minute service. They were playing the Devil Wears Prada on a large TV with subtitles, so I was actually able to follow along to the movie. The salon is stylish, clean, and lively. I really enjoyed it and love the many available time slots per day that other salons just don't really offer. I'll be back again! read more

I've always known about drybar from social media, so I was super excited when a location opened in Winter Park! When you walk in and go to the desk, you're greeted by the host / bartender, who will ask you for your name to confirm your appointment, followed by taking your drink order - water, flavored sparkling water(grapefruit is my favorite), and mimosas are available! You will then be greeted by your stylist, who will take you to their chair and ask you what kind of look you want. If you're unsure, there's a free look book available to help you decide. During your hair wash, some add ons are available for a fee - the scalp massage is my favorite, with the liquid glass sealant treatment being a close second. After the blowout, they'll turn the chair around so you can see your final look! I've always been so happy with the final result. If you enjoy your experience and want to come more often, I recommend becoming a barfly for a discount rate - they treat their barflys very well, got a special birthday marker when I went in yesterday! So excited DryBar is now in Central Florida. I've heard about them from friends that live in other states and I was anxious to try. I went in with a girlfriend not quite knowing what to expect. The place is BEAUTIFUL. Very classy and clean. My stylist was super sweet and knowledgeable. Hitting 40 with a high stress job has definitely caused hair loss and I was concerned that any blowout would leave my hair looking flat and thin. My stylist assured me she could give me a style that would add volume and I'd love. They had a look book that worked almost like a menu - "I'll take the cosmo please." The shampoo bowls were super cool and comfortable- they go up and down based on your height. The shampoo and scalp massage was relaxing and I felt like a queen. Then my girlfriend and I sat side by side while our ladies went to work on our noggins. My stylist showed me some different products that would help with volume and also tame my regrowth and flyaways. The price was reasonable. Especially for my girlfriend that has more hair than God. It was raining when we left, but they had umbrellas at the ready. Later on, after I returned to work, every time I shook my head I got a whiff of the product and dang it still smells good.
