She was super nice and fulfilled all my needs. She asked what I was looking for and completed my look. They use WOW hair products which is good for me because my hair responds really well to them. What an amazing time we all had getting ready at Blo Blow Dry Bar for our best friend's wedding. Michelle took my hair photo inspiration seriously and matched it with my vibe to execute a look that exceded my expectations. I felt so secure in her hands that my hair was gonna look FIRE. She really popped off. I got so many compliments that night. Gianni also analyzed my skin type to use appropriate products on my face. I never felt so handsome and shy at the same time. She listened to what I wanted and always checked in to make sure I was happy. The most handsome I felt and also the most fun I've had with good company. I had an appointment at Blo Orlando at 12 and called around 10 to cancel because I woke up with a fever. I was told I would still be charged the cancellation fee. I asked if she (Gabby the manager) would rather me come in while I was sick and she said no, but that because I was cancelling, I would still be charged the fee. How does that make sense? She's telling me I shouldn't come in but also telling me if I don't come in, I would be charged. I would think in a post Covid environment, you would want to play it safe and would be sensitive to people being sick. read more

Top notch place to get a blowout. It's easy to set an appointment and price is reasonable for the service you get. They do offer membership which gives you 2 blowouts and 1 free for your birthday and discounts on products and services. It's worth it! I came in for a blowout in Austin area and Sierra was amazing. I did the Hollywood style and it came out perfect. They can use products to help with the frizz and they adjust the curls tightness to help it lasts. Overall, I had a great experience with them. I would recommend the membership because you can use it anywhere in the country they have a salon in. The staff members are friendly and accommodating. read more

My stylist was very helpful and suggestions, and she was able to handle my very curly hair. They also offered some additional services that I thought were helpful, namely installing strip eyelashes. She was very nice, but the lashes were not glued all the way down on one end, and I couldn't wear them as I didn't have glue at my hotel. They literally came off within the drive home. Just saw the Orlando Blo location. I was able to enjoy coffee in a cute little tray offered to me beforehand. Neika greeted me and asked what my hair needs were. I came with the whole: "listen... my hair been ripped out before, I need my hair untangled first starting at the bottom, medium heat on all heating appliances please, and could you use such and such products??".... now maybe another hairstylist would think I'm coming across as "uptight about my hair" but she was very kind & understanding ... she accommodated all of my hair needs!! :) The end result left my hair leaving shiny, smooth and looking much healthier than it did walking in. I have given this place Three chances. 1) for my high school reunion which they washed and curled my hair for the price of 50$, turned out nice. 2) I went and had my nails done with gel, the next day- they chipped horribly. (Photos shown) They were kind enough to take off the polish and give me a 50$ refund. 3) I ran in last night just for a simple updo, as in three braids in the front (half up half down). Paid 45$ .... THEY DID NOT WASH MY HAIR OR DRY IT .....OR EVEN PUT HAIRSPRAY IN IT AT THE END! They charged me for it. This is the last and final time I will step foot in there. I was happy with my service, but the little things left more to be desired: - I wasn't greeted or asked my name. Someone just directed me to the chair to get started. - I had to ask to have my hair washed. - Another customer had her hair washed immediately before me. I was put in the same sink although the other two sinks were open, and there was visible hair left behind in the sink. It wasn't washed out. I think that's gross? I have been here a handful of times and have always been pleased with my hair every time. With that said, the way I was treated at my most recent appointment will be the reason I never go back. For starters, when you make an appointment, you make the time to get there on time. My appointment was at 3:45 and I was not even greeted, nor acknowledged until 4:35pm. This is not an exaggeration. It wasn't until I said that I was going to leave and not get my hair done that they seemed to care. I understand you are busy, but what's the point of booking an appointment if they won't even take you at that time? I was meeting someone who was already at the salon getting her hair and makeup done. The makeup artist got foundation on her white dress. This is unacceptable. For the record, there were 3-4 other woman who were treated the same way I was at this salon and waited 30+ minutes for their service. I had a dinner reservation at 5pm and since I wasn't taken into the chair until 4:35 (when my appointment was at 3:45) I requested to just have a dry style. It was upsetting to me that I still paid full price when in my opinion, I didn't even get the full experience. (Hair washing, etc.) the way the manager/owner was acting and speaking to me was disrespectful and I don't appreciate feeling like I did something wrong when I booked an appointment and you were understaffed. I have been to other blow dry bars that offer wine, even a glass of water. I wasn't even given a smile or a hello, let alone a beverage. Long story short, this is why I will be going to other blow dry bars from here on out. This customer service does not deserve my business or my time. read more

I'm writing this review 2 weeks after my manicure and it has not chipped at all! No exaggeration! Gel is supposed to last 2 weeks but that isn't always the case for me... at Blo, it is! The owner was extremely nice and easy to talk to. I explained to her exactly how I like my nails to look and she did exactly what I asked for. Everyone here is super friendly and accommodating. I'm super happy that I've found a nice place that I can quickly walk to and get a great manicure that lasts a whole 2 weeks! Ashley, the manager, denied me service. I booked a 45 min blow dry and was running ten minutes behind. She said the most they could was WASH my hair but could not do a straight blow dry. She openly mocked me in front of the other staff and gave misleading information. Upon entering the salon, she immediately jumped down my throat saying that they could not provide the full blow dry, just a simple wash and blow out- to which I agree. 5 minutes later, she said the most the stylist could do was a "wash" and it would be better if I blow dried my own hair. Absolutely despicable of customer service and rude behavior just from a human to human standpoint. Things are difficult enough without coming into contact with such people. read more
