I recommend you not trust your good clothes to this business. Atrocious product. Dismal service. Sweater was ruined (shrunk, dye from leather patches bled around patch and stained upper arm, matches look like an emphatic walked on it). I attempted to follow up by three in person visits to the business and one phone call over the course of a month with no response from owner. I left my contact info anew each time. Payment was required up front. Staff anll said only the owner could refund. Errors happen. Blantant disregard repeated over time is a choice. In this case it sends a very clear message regarding what the business thinks of ots relationship w customers. Horrible Service! This is the 2nd visit but never again! The store employee was extremely rude on the first visit. This time the cleaners had my shirts 6 days and asked me to come back because they are not done. I go in this morning, still not done. After a previous issue with them pressing my jacket's hand-rolled lapels, I returned with a new suit and explicitly requested they not press the lapels to protect the garment's structure. A note was added to the tag, but the lapels were pressed anyway, damaging this suit. This service shows a lack of attention to detail and a disregard for customer requests. read more

I've been using them for over a year and I've only had good experiences. The service is quick and friendly, with about a 24 hour turnaround. They also do same-day service (if dropped off before 9am), wash and fold (haven't tried this) and they have walk-in or drive though. I'm not sure what the going rate is, but that felt pricey to me, especially since they were not even very dirty (no dirt stains at the hem or anything like that). Not sure what more we could ask for. They really knocked it out of the park when some of my wife's nice dress pants got mixed into a load of regular laundry and appeared to be ruined. They managed expectations well, and didn't over-promise, but they definitely delivered. The pants looked as good as new, and I think they only charged a normal cleaning price. The dry cleaners I always use closed during the pandemic, so I thought I should try Dry Clean City because the location is closer to my house, after a recent move. Being new, I assumed the drive through worked the same as Quick Cleaners, you pull up & they get your clothes out of your back seat & when you pick up they put your clean clothes back inside your vehicle on the hanger. Today, June 12,2020 between 2:30-3:00, the cashier told me I acted like a prima donna, expecting them to get my clothes out. She said I was the only customer they did that for. I told her I was new there and thought that's how things worked and with the pandemic I thought she would rather I wasn't close. I think she was upset for two reasons, the previous week, she didn't give me all of my husband's clothes and I asked her if she was sure I didn't have another order and she told me I didn't have anything else. Got home & my husband agreed he was missing a lot of clothes. So, I said no problem I'll ask again next week. I asked the same person today and this time I said I am certain I'm missing some of my husband's clothes & it could possibly be as many as 40 pieces. I asked if she could look through all her clothes for our last name. She angrily tried to walk away before I could say I'm also bringing back two of my husband's shirts because they have black on them. I asked her if I could show her & she said no, I can look myself. I said it's right here & right here before she walked away super mad! But good news she came back with two orders one in each hand!! I was so happy, I jumped out of the car & said yay! You found them! She very rudely said it's not 40 pieces! It was 22 pieces, but to me it was still a big order & I was so happy she found them. She went right into, I never told you they weren't here & I was completely took back with her argumentative attitude, that I stood up for myself finally! I said yes you did and she said no I didn't and I said you must have a twin or are on drugs, give me back my two shirts I wanted you to re-clean because I will never, ever give you my business again and then she went into her prima donna name calling! NEVER take your clothes there, you don't have to be treated this way & for the love of God don't misplace your pick up ticket or you won't get your clothes back, even though you prepay! My 79 year old father witnessed the entire episode and was so disappointed she would treat any customer the way she did me. I should have read the reviews before I went to Dry Clean City. Do a decent job. They never remember you. Staff usually has a chip on there shoulder about something it seems like. I have seen multiple customers get upset with prices, services or just how they speak to them and walk out. Eventually I woke up and realized there are other options. My husband and I took a dress and a suit we needed to them for a wedding. It was supposed to be ready according to receipt after 5 on Thursday in Kingsport. He went there on Friday at 10:30 to pick up. He was told it would not be ready until late in evening and our clothes were in Johnson City. We had to be in Knoxville for a wedding at 2 that day. The lady in Kingsport did her best to help us, but we had to drive 30 minutes out of our way to get clothes that they could not guarantee would have been cleaned. When we arrived my husband asked if they had been cleaned the lady shrugged her shoulders and walked off. Once we got to Knoxville we looked at the items closely and the suit was still very wrinkled. We asked for a refund since our clothes were not ready at the promised time and since we had to drive 30 minutes out to way to get them. We have not heard any response from them. read more

Stood in line and waited for 5 minutes before anyone even came up to the counter (as the staff was messing around joking and throwing things at each other as if they really didn't care.) Then as soon as a male patron came in, bam, three people serving him. They served him first even after he said I was there before him. So after all of that my brand new white shirts were covered in grease. I have very little ways to come into contact with grease and I'm careful getting in and out of my car. The shirts didn't have grease when I brought them in. The manager argued with me that I had to have gotten the grease on them myself. Never even offered to re-clean. Was not happy with my experience. When I went to pick up, something was missing from my coat in which they did inform me of. I was told it was stuck in the machine and to come back at another time. I get it.. things happen. When I went to pick up the missing item it was damaged. Also when I was I there the customer in front of me had issues as well. It seems they are having some problems. I have used DCC for many years. The new management is poor. I cannot recommend this cleaner. Today I picked up a silk blend shirt that they had ruined. The tag does say it can be laundered but "for best results--dry clean". I told them I wanted it dry cleaned and it came back having been laundered with huge blotches on it. (I discovered this at the house when I was going to wear the shirt). So I took it back and they said they would "re-do" the shirt. The conversation today was that the shirt had a "manufacturing flaw" in that the color had come out of the shirt (thus the 'blotches'). This argument may be valid if this was the first cleaning of the shirt. The shirt is over 5 years old and has been at DCC several times. Then I was told that "we did nothing to the shirt to make it like this" after I said that the shirt was not like this when I brought it in for cleaning. So they did not take responsibility for ruining the shirt and I will take may dry cleaning business elsewhere and advise everyone of my experience. read more

I travel the country and always struggle to find a dry cleaner with both great customer service and that can actually clean properly. I'm cautious in who I chose to clean my clothes because I have to wear custom made everything due to my size so if they were to damage anything it would take me months to get a new shirt ordered. My dress shirts are in some cases $250 and suits can be up to if not over $2000.. Fortunately, I know what to expect every time I bring my clothes here. Keith is top notch and his team is as well. This business ruined a set of $600 Pottery Barn curtains and charged me $98 to do it! The employees gave me the run-around for a week claiming it was "sun damage," but I've never seen the sun scorch a rectangle onto linen/cotton cloth. I tried to escalate to a manager or the owner, but it wasn't until I reviewed it on Google that the owner finally got involved, promising a refund. He's had app. 10 days with my contact information as he told his staff he preferred to settle it person-to-person. At this point I am frustrated and disillusioned. 01/02/13 Been with them for a few years. Clothes turned out fine, but got there to pick up my clothes one day and inside smelled like smoke and saw a few employees smoking inside near a partially opened back door near a rack of clothes. I spoke with the manager. Told her I didn't want my clothes smelling like cigarette smoke and it was illegal to smoke inside anyway. She assured she would take care of it. Well to my surprise went to pick up a shirt and found the manager and an employee smoking inside near the back of the store. Not the first time I have seen the manager smoking inside. As far as I'm concerned she has no integrity and is part of the problem, so I won't be going back there ever. Those of you who don't mind cigarette smoke in their clothes keep going back. The worst experience EVER. I brought in my dress to be dry cleaned, and was told it would be done 1 week from that day(that's with extended time being it is a beaded gown). So I go in a week later to pick it up, and they said it was not ready & that it would be ready 2 days from then!!!! Okay, so I go 2 days later to FINALLY pick up my dress (I'm mad that it is not done within the time they assured me, but what can I do, I needed it cleaned.. & Keep in mind this is the absolute LAST day I could pick it up because I am driving 12 hours today to WEAR THIS DRESS IN A WEDDING 2 days later) and they proceed to tell me AGAIN that my dress IS NOT READY..... and that it would be ready "tomorrow". 9 days later and they have YET to touch my dress. It was still as dirty as when I brought it in. Needless to say I got my refund... the money they make you PREPAY for their services THAT I DIDN'T EVEN GET. Do not go here for dry cleaning, because it may not get done. They never touched my dress 9 days after I brought it to them. The lady told me "Well the woman who is supposed to clean is was off yesterday." I didn't bring it there yesterday, I brought it there 9 days ago. Was she off the past 9 days also? And they said it would be done in 1 week. Horrible horrible horrible customer service, and actually no service done at all... I actually had to ASK for my refund which is the most pathetic aspect of it all. I brought a dress and a pair of white linen Ann Taylor pants to this dry cleaners to have them cleaned for a trip I was taking last week. Neither garment had any stains on them when I dropped them off, I simply wanted them freshened up for my trip. When I picked them up, both garments had been stained with BLUE DYE. The dress had blue dye stains on the white collar, and the white pants had blue dye stains on both sides. But that's not all. The white pants also now had YELLOW stains all over the crotch area! The employees brought these stains to my attention, but said that there was nothing they could do. They even went so far as to blame the stains on the dress as being a "manufacturers defect". ?!!? No explanation was even attempted for the stains on the white pants. I was NOT offered a refund. I WOULD HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU NEVER TAKE ANY GARMENTS THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TO WEAR AGAIN TO THESE CLEANERS. ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE! read more

My wife has been going back and forth with the owner of this business since April of 2018 over losing a pair of Tommy Bahama Dress Pants for SEVERAL months. after several attempts for a resolution my wife gave him the Brands Website and exact model and size I wear. The Owner decides he still want to wait to see if they possibly get "returned". When my wife goes back he now wants a receipt of when the pants were bought (who keeps a receipt on a pair of pants that have been worn for two months)? After he delayed over and over I finally had enough and went to discuss with the owner myself on 8/4/2018 (almost 4 months) in order to come to a resolution and get a replacement pair. The owner was not there, the store manager came and discussed with me, she had the owner on the phone at the same time. I had to show her the pants on the website because the "Owner" didn't remember getting the information. The manager said she would get a resolution and call me back. on 8/9/18 the manager called me on my cell phone and said the owner would offer me a $100 store credit instead of replacing the $145.00 pair of pants that they admittedly lost and put me through hell to try and get reimbursed. I told them I would write this review and publish it on all the social media I could to show that this company just wants your money and could care less if they lose you article of clothing. I EXPECTED a service, I left the pants in their care, I followed up more than once on the pants that were not returned. I have asked for them to buy a pair of the same type and size and give me back what they lost, or possibly stolen by an employee. I recently had vehicle issues while dropping off my laundry, even though the young man working the front counter had jumper cables and no customers, the manager/owner lady would not allow him to help me. In three experiences they have given me the wrong clothes, when dropping off clothes told me that the phone number I was giving them was the wrong one and to give them another number as another person's name is associated with MY phone number in the system (hence the wrong clothes given to me on an earlier experience), and opened twenty-five minutes late at 6:55 when they were to open at 6:30. And lastly this week, guranteed me a pick up of 9:00 am for five dress shirts before an out of town business trip. I even called at 6:45 am to ensure the shirts were ready and was guaranteed the shirts would be ready at 9:00 am. At 11:00 when I went to pick them up, I was told they wouldn't be ready until after 5:00! This completely altered my plans, had I been told at 6:45 (two days after dropping them off) that the cleaning would not be ready I could have selected other times for my trip but was guaranteed the cleaning would be ready. After this horrible debacle, I called and spoke with the manager Jane and she told me that cleaning was ready (that she bagged it up herself to be ready at 9) when I came in to pick it up at 11:00 but 'the girl' working the counter didn't know about it. I asked her what the breakdown in communication was between she and her employees and she said her employees weren't paying attention. This place has a great convenient location but due to the inexcusable poor management is a horrid place to trade business.
