NEVER GO HERE! I dropped off a suit on 12/29, and was told the suit would be ready New Year's Eve by 4:00. Upon arrival at 5:04, they were closed, and a recording when I called the phone number that my call could not be completed... As a result on New Year's Day, when my grandson was supposed to be having his senior pictures done, he was unable to because he did not have his suit! I had to pay the photographer for her time, even though no pictures were done... Really bad service It is sad that displays in the last year and a half has deteriorated on their service . I used to be a customer for a long time it's sad. I wish they had stars for the negative. I've been dealing with this cleaners for about 16 years but over the last year or so, the service has become trash. My shirts have been getting stretched out and this last time when I picked up my clothes, there was gunk build up on one of the aprons that wasn't there before. I went to this cleaners to have a comforter lining sown into a new comforter. Basically i used my old comforter material and had it sown around my new comforter. I was told the charge was 25.00 dollars. When I picked up the comforter which was a day late from when they said it would be ready. They had sown one side of the comforters together and left it like this. They said because it was pinned on this side then that's what they sowed. And completely ignored that i said I wanted the whole comforter sown all the way around. Who the hell would want one side of a comforter sown and left like that and be ok with paying 25.00!! And never once did anyone apologize or try to make things better! Instead basically called me a liar!!! Never take your alterations to this place. DO NOT take your clothes to this place.... (I gave it a 1 star because of the app...)For over a month I've had to go back to this place so that they could look for a romper that they lost... I called several times to see what they were doing about it and all I got was that the boss was out for a month.... Today I went in again and they told me the boss would be in at 4:30 so I said I would come back.... Well... At around 12:30 I received a call that they had the check. I went to pick the check up and the check was written out for 40.00. The romper I left was 67.00 and brand new when I dropped it off... When I went in to see what was going on they put me on the phone with the boss and she said since I had not sent a receipt that that's what she could give me... I told her she could order me another romper... If they had told me to get a receipt I would have gone to the store where I bought it or would have gotten a bank statement... But for over a month I was given the run around.... And prior to this the employees had sent her pictures of the romper and the price I paid for it... I never got a call from the boss or anyone for that matter... Save your time and energy and take your clothes to another business.... Very disappointed. My family used to go here for years until recently. I'm not sure if they hired new cleaners or if management changed, but the quality of this cleaners has exponentially depleted. I took a few dresses there, and had to take them back to be cleaned since they left the collars filthy. I then asked them to wash two of my comforters, assuming that they would be dry cleaned. NOPE. Someone threw them into a washing machine. Now the fabric has bled into one nasty color, the seams are ripping, and I have lost two comforters. They did not want to own up to their mistakes. I have been using Dry Clean Express for approximately a year since my job transferred me to this side of town. I had no issue with them until they ruined the zipper in two of my pair of pants. They refused to repair the items and I ended up paying for the repair out of my pocket. Today, June 2, 2021, I took thee more pair of pants and shorts with the tags from Dry Clean Express telling them they had ruined them again. They refused to take responsibility for their actions. They would not even offer to meet me at least halfway for the items they have destroyed. Two of the items were brand new. I asked to speak with the owner but the son would only say he was out of town and there was no other management. He continued to state their policy says they are not responsible. In my opinion, Dry Clean Express is a business that does not take responsibility for their actions nor do they care about their customers property. I plan to report them to the BBB because of the type of service they provide. read more
