The instructors are okay, but the company is slow to respond. It is difficult to make driving appointments, and the staff does not respond to text requests. It takes 2 or three tries to reach staff on the phone (and they do not have a hold-in-line phone system). After the student has completed all requirements, the school is very slow to post the completion reports to the DOL, so students must wait two weeks to take the DOL skills exam for their license. Everyone here is wonderful, and I really appreciated that they responded to my voice message -- something many other organizations don't usually do. My driving instructor, Chris, made me feel calm and confident behind the wheel. We had small conversations during the test, which made the testing environment feel relaxed. He also mentioned that he's learning new languages like Ukrainian, Russian, and Arabic, so if someone taking the test has trouble with English, he can use directional terms in their native language. I even asked him to say a few words in Russian since this is my first language, and he pronounced them pretty accurately! Omg what age do we live in? My cousin came from Ukraine to take the knowledge test, it was on a piece of paper? Like what??? I took my knowledge test back in 2006 In Oregon and it was on computer. Another thing is the Russian test my cousin was taken, everything is translated using google translate, without an actual person proof reading it and then publicizing the material. He said the grammar is so off & hard to even understand what the question is asking. Maybe hire someone to go over your material?... read more

I loved driving 101! I attended when I was 15 years old and I'm now 27! I've been driving for 12 years and have never been pulled over or given a ticket. I've been in one small accident but luckily it was extremely minimal. The owner, Nikki, is super kind, friendly, and accommodating! She worked with me and my family to get me through the courses even with sports, school, and other challenges! I remember so many of my peers and classmates at Prairie HS graduating from driving school much quicker than I had but we all have our own path. I'm just grateful Nikki and her team were there to teach me from start to now. I still use safety tips I learned in their class to today! I believe my brother also attended school here after me and am sure he had the same if not better experience! Cars are fun and way of travel but we have to be safe first! it's our responsibility to the world to know the laws, rules, and be safe while in community space like the public roads. read more

I went it to take a knowledge test and the younger lady with glasses stared at my ID then said "hmm interesting" in a very rude way. She didn't make me comfortable at all. Keep in mind they will literally sit in the room with you while you test. A very small room. Not nice people and just not a comfortable place to test. I went to On target driving school. The whole process has been a pain when it comes to getting your license. First there was a lack of communication of missing class time. Then had to wait a week to make that up. Second time of driving down they were closed and no update to their answering machine, so just a waste of time when gas is at 5.50PG third time go in there and they say at first it takes a week to show that you have finished your class time, but they can manually pull it over "eye rolling- just don't even mention it". Then handed me a policy paper to sign after the fact I should have filled out that they have to have to fulfill state requirements before enrolling my child. Staff is lacking time on the job because it seems like they have no clue what's going on. Need to make sure you are even ready to take the knowledge test. Do you have your physical valid permit are your class hours finished? All things that should be talked to you prior to taking the test. Coming from Oregon the system of getting a license up here sucks and a way to line pockets because you aren't just paying for the license you are paying to jump through the requirement hoops. FYI you can take the knowledge portion of the test prior to turning 16 so you don't have an expired permit and have to pay for that again in case they are booked out. Get it together! Will look at other options remembering how this one was when the next kid starts to drive. read more

The only thing I didn't like about taking the knowledge test is that they are not allowed to show you which mistakes you had. But overall, everything is perfect! I passed the test in Russian. Then driving with an instructor. I had some mistakes. Now I'll explain: It is very important to make two complete stops if traffic can not be seen after the STOP sign. It is very necessary to look around, not only with the help of mirrors but always turn your head to the right and to the left. Always check for safety!!! Well, the second time I successfully passed the test driving! Both times the exam was taken by one instructor: Calm, polite woman with long hair and a pleasant smile. Sorry, it's still hard for me to remember American names. Of course I wanted an excellent result the first time. But now I'm very grateful to her for the fact that I still trained and successfully passed the exam. Now I know all rules and I know all the points. Driving 101 would get five stars if it wasn't for Kim Uskoski teaching our class biased and unnecessary lessons like "Women are the only victims of sexual abuse and men never get raped" which isn't true, she also stated that " 80% of women in Washington state are sold and kidnapped into Sex trafficking" which is a confusing misleading statistic. She has made many more biased, racist, and misleading comments that having nothing to do with driving and more to do with her crazy paranoid thoughts. On drives she also talks about cartels smuggling in drugs, her 8 cows always wandering around battleground and marijuana causing cancer, whether true or not they are all unnecessary to teaching students how to drive. Kathy Dick on the other hand is a great teacher who is patient and very smooth with communicating. Kathy 5 stars, Kim doesn't deserve to be recognized. read more

Needed to reschedule a drive test, was put on hold for 45 minutes, then when I finally speak to someone I'm asked if they can call me back in 30 minutes. After this the woman was rude and unhelpful. Didn't seem educated about the process couldn't answer my questions. Had to transfer me to someone else. read more

Great instructors. Some of the desk staff made the experience awful by calling 6 months after completion of course requirements with threats that the course had to be retaken if they didn't get a call back in less than 24 hours - TWICE! How about you leave message as to why you think that is and that you wish to discuss and/or correct your clerical error? No one wants to hear your threatening demeanor on a voicemail. You are not in collections. I will never use this company again. I would encourage some customer service training. read more

If you're taking a drives test, I would recommend you go to Confident Driving Instruction. The people there are super nice and understanding. They won't give you a hard time, and they will make your test less stressful and super easy going without all the pressure. Worst Drining school in the nation. WE moved here from NY, my other kids had drivers ed there, well in FL too. This company is using a state regualtion to profit while doing noting at all. First I went to go pick my son up from class, I thought id go see what they are doing, I walk in and the teacher pulled up a u-tube video on how to make a self generating electric motor for your house. OK whatever, I'll let that one go. Then it comes time to schedule 5 drives. Good luck, Its been 2 months since class is done and still trying to get that done. When they do drive they drove around the block and called it good. 4.5 min. Now I undersatnd Its my job to practice with him as much as possible which I do, but its thier job to actually do something. When I asked the instructor I was told its not their job to teach them. HUH?? Horrible, dont waste your money. Horrible service because they know kids have to do it, they reallt don't care. read more

While I was so nervous, Kath spoke to me in a calm voice and repeated directions when I was unsure. She clearly explained what was required of me and at the end of the drive test, went through the results and advised me of what I should be careful of on the roads. I did not attend any driving lessons but I did take the driving exam and passed on my first attempt. The examiner's name was Kathi or Kathy (not sure the correct spelling) but she made the experience very pleasant and I appreciated how she seemed to take my anxiety and nervousness into consideration (like nervously fighting my seatbelt for two minutes to get it on) little things like that she did not hold against me. I cannot speak for the other examiners but I think overall (with Kathy at least) they will give you a fair assesment of your driving ability and will be truthful to whether or not you are ready for you for your license. I cannot stress enough that if you practice the skills on the exam and do them correctly you will pass. I actually parallel parked and parked on the hill perfectly but did not do as well backing around a corner and still managed to pass. I think honesty in a institution such as this is very important especially since there are a lot of them that are just out for your money but Driving 101 I would definitely reccommend.
